We really enjoyed our stay here. Lots of room for our family, magnificent views and plenty for the kids to do! Would definitely recommend for families looking for a peaceful retreat.

The house was as described. Like a little museum. The hot tub was very clean. Communication was fast. Thanks again for the personal greeting and wine.

Our vacation in Jan's house on Frosta was absolutely amazing: The house is very comfortable and very modern; it offers everything you could wish for. You can be sporty and active with hiking and cycling in the beautiful nature and walk on the treadmill. Then you can relax in the infrared sauna and the hot tub - most beautiful in wind and rain! There is a lot of culture and attractions, so much to do. We visited many historical sites on Frosta; then nearby Falstadsentern and in Trondheim Ringvemusikmuseum etc. In the Wintergarten and on the terraces, you can just sit and dream and experience the sunset and bright nights. Jan is an ideal host, helpful and always available! We had a wonderful time - just too short - and would like to return. Thank you for everything!

It was a joy again to stay – to live! – in the cottage (again). It is so cozy, located in a quiet, completely green area with blueberries in the forest and large mushrooms, right in front of the cabin yet ... and Eva is a great host. Helpful and contactable but discreet and kind, kind and full of understanding of our questions. Thanks for staying!

We were two people and one dog renting this lovely cabin for the weekend. Very charming little cabin, right by the water. The cabin is close to the farm of the landlord, where there is some activity with animals and farm work. It was not inconvenient for our stay and we can confidently recommend this place to anyone who wants a rural and relaxing get-away!

We had a wonderful stay here — You can get a real “fjord feeling” just about 1 hour’s drive from Trondheim! The area is remote, with beautiful fjord and mountain scenery all around. It’s a fantastic spot if you enjoy nature, with great opportunities for fishing and hiking. The cabin has a nice, authentic atmosphere — it offers the proper cabin feeling with simple comfort, but everything you need is there. We especially loved the view over the fjord from the cabin. The host was very communicative and gave us great tips for the area, which made the experience even better. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful nature getaway.

Thank you very much for the stay at Stabburet! Erlend and Mona showed up last minute as we needed a good night's sleep after 21 hours of driving. They were super cozy and we felt well taken care of. Everything was clean and nice and the surroundings/local area absolutely magical, the bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept on. The breakfast and coffee al fresco was the icing on the cake. We also received recommendations on local shops that we visited. 10/10 - would come again and stay for a week!

What an amazing place! Directly on the edge of the fjord, great fishing and whales swimming by every morning. The house is very comfortable with a great fireplace and fully equipped kitchen. 100% recommended.

The cabin is very cozy and is beautifully located by the water and mountains. It is well equipped and has everything you could need for a cozy cabin trip. We walked the heritage ski, which our kids really enjoyed - recommended for young children!

She is the nicest host we have ever met. She offered to take us to the cabin and explained us everything. It was a lovely weekend and we probably will repeat it in summer :)

I had an amazing time at Ida’s place! The cabin is truly lovely, and the location is fantastic. Very peaceful and relaxing. Has everything you need to feel at ease and unwind. Definitely recommend!
