We went to Dunedin to attend a wedding, was extremely happy with the house, the area, and how close it was to the venues we had to attend. House was very clean and had detailed information for check-in and check-out.

Central Oak Pet Friendly Retreat

LarryRating, 5 starstoday
Emily’s place was nice, clean, quaint, private! We were there two nights and at the end of each day spent at the beach, we pretty much showered, watched TV and went to bed. If you plan on doing a lot of lounging, the couch isn’t very comfortable for hours of watching TV. We opened the sofa-sleeper, but we all know what those are like! This was an US issue… Not an Emily’s House issue!! We aren’t “tiny” people. Since the need is a full size and it’s against one wall, we felt very cramped!! we aren’t into feng shui so I’m thinking the bed would’ve been much better. Had it been located where the dresser is, allowing for both people to get out of the bed on each side and hang a foot out if you need to, the size probably wouldn’t have been a big issue! The home is super quaint! Very clean, very strong shower/water pressure, stocked, full size fridge, water tasted decent, blankets were super soft! I have 5 stars because of all the good she had to offer! Thanks Emily!! She’s sweet/helpful!!

Banana Mania Cottage 3 - few miles to beaches

VickyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was my first experience with Airbnb and Jeremy made this a very easy trip all the way around. The pictures are accurate, it was a little cottage that had everything you can possibly need for a nights stay. there is a corner store and coffee ship right around the corner if you forget to bring anything. The beaches are just a few miles down the road. I was able to bring my dog there with no problems at all. He also enjoyed his stay. Thank you Jeremy for excellent communication and a great stay!

Enjoy brand new vacation 2/2 condo & water park!

TylerRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Everything you read in the description is spot on. Honestly it was even BETTER than the description. Super clean and easy to communicate. The water park (usually $30 per per son day but INCLUDED in your stay) was a blast and the on site restaurant was terrific. The beach was literally a 6 minute walk. They also supplied everything you need for the beach. The room itself was great in that you had everything you would need for the week. Other bonus was the washer/dryer in the room. We give this host a space a 10/10!!! Highly recommend and would go again and again.

Bring your family and friends to our luxury airbnb

I was in town celebrating my 45th birthday with family, and this home was the perfect accommodation. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool the most! The home was clean, warm and inviting. Our host Leon was quickly responsive and extremely accommodating...he was able to grant us a last minute late check out, which we greatly appreciated. We'd definitely stay again if we ever find ourselves back in Tampa.

Brand new vacation rental one block from the beach

JoshuaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is a great stay. Overall I’d recommend. Pros: - quick walk to the beach and restaurants. - game room downstairs is fun. Our kids loved it and it entertained them endlessly - clean. Beds, bathroom, everything inside the house feels clean - owner’s father Giuseppe. He lives next door and is very friendly, helpful when we needed things fixed, and he brought over fun stuff for the kids. Just a friendly presence. Also, he did our laundry every day we were there. - owner is responsive to any questions. Cons: - washer/dryer was broken for us. However, Giuseppe offered to do it for us daily and we took him up on it. - Neighborhood is still recovering from the hurricane. Didn’t bother us but there are still some abandoned homes, and homes in disrepair across the street and as you walk around.

Pass-a-Grille Historic Cottage Unit 2

AmyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
My husband and I spent 3 nights here and loved it. So charming! The cottage is lovely, well-maintained, clean and cozy. It’s in a fabulous location. The best street in the Pass-A-Grille area. Great areas to sit in front and behind the house. Picturesque setting.🌴🌴🌴 It is a 3 minute walk to the beach and nestled at the end of a quaint street with a few cute shops, an adorable little art shop, 3 restaurants, an old school bar and a coffee/ice cream shop. Can’t recommend highly enough. And the owner was very quick to respond to questions I had prior to my arrival. Don’t hesitate to book here. You will be very happy! P.S. There is a fun restaurant and bar called Paradise Grille five minutes from the house right on the beach. Open at 7 AM for breakfast and remains open until 30 minutes after sunset. Also, you can rent lounge chairs and umbrellas just past the restaurant. You’ll also find beach chairs in the shed in the backyard of the home.

We had a great trip. The location was perfect with a nice view of the intercostal channel and an easy 5 min walk to the beach access. Quiet and peaceful for this time of the year and just what we were looking for. The apartment was big enough for the 4 of us, comfortable bedrooms and spacious living room. Our host was friendly, quick to respond and accommodating. We would certainly like to return and rent back from her. 10 and of 10

Room 302. Elevator was still broke from hurricanes, but she told us. Partial ocean view. Laundry room down the hall was a little smelly. The king sized bed was very tall. Not sure my in laws could have made it, but we did. Only found 2 kitchen cloths. Close to bars, across from the ocean. We took trolley to Clearwater Great central location.

Your guide to Indian Rocks Beach

All About Indian Rocks Beach

Known for its sunshine and beaches, Indian Rocks Beach lies on a narrow barrier island on Florida's west coast between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico. With gorgeous beaches, water sports, and nature preserves all around, this quiet, residential beach town is the perfect spot for fun in the sun or to recharge. Water sports enthusiasts have their pick of adventures, with the option to rent boats, kayaks, paddleboards, surfboards, and bikes all along the shore. While the sun and sand are the main draws, you’ll find no shortage of culture in the area. A visit to the Indian Rocks Beach Historical Museum provides a thoughtful diversion with displays telling the story of the area’s people.

Nature lovers can walk the boardwalk at Indian Rocks Beach Nature Preserve for viewing wildlife and birdwatching or make the short drive to Florida Botanical Gardens in Lago to view beautiful fauna. Indian Rocks Beach is within easy reach of all that Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater have to offer — culture, shopping, dining, aquatic adventures, and family-friendly attractions.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Indian Rocks Beach

The best time to visit Indian Rocks Beach is between October and December, when the humidity is low and temperatures are still warm. Keep in mind that October and November technically fall during hurricane season — albeit not peak hurricane months — so be prepared for adverse conditions. April, May, and June are great for wildlife enthusiasts, as birdwatching is at its peak. Summer heat (June through September) can be quite something, with temperatures spiking. In winter, temperatures are mild, making it a great time to enjoy biking and hiking. Expect rainfall at any time of year, but the city is at its wettest in summer, especially August. You'll get the most sunshine in April and May, and the least in December.

Top things to do in Indian Rocks Beach

Sunsets at Pier 60

Enjoy spectacular sunset views from the 1,080-foot pier overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. During the day, there’s great fishing and inflatable slides for children. As the sun sets, watch artisans selling wares and street performers juggling, walking on stilts, and fire breathing.

Caladesi Island State Park

Take a day trip for birdwatching, hiking, and a little quiet. This protected section of Caladesi Island is a prime attraction for nature lovers and active travelers. Visitors love the state park for its untouched natural areas and sparsely populated beaches, which are consistently named the best in the area. Accessible only by water, you can kayak or boat in for a small docking fee. A ferry service also runs multiple times a day.

Beaches

Indian Rocks Beach has plenty of gorgeous beaches for sunbathing and watersports. The Gulf-side beach park offers soft sand and calm waters for swimming, while the more adventurous can soar above the water parasailing or rent a kayak and paddle the open waters. Surfers will want to make the short trip to Sand Key, a barrier island on the Gulf Coast with sandy beaches and manageable waves.
