Inchydoney beach house, sauna, deck, seaview.

ClaireRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at the Beach House! Location, location, location is what it was all about, just stunning! Great outdoor and indoor space for all of the family. We all enjoyed the sauna and it was just a pity that the hot tub was not in use, but it did not spoil anything. The only thing to be mindful of is the shortage of hot water when taking a shower, which i think has been mentioned in previous reviews. However, overall it's the most amazing location and house for a break in West Cork and we really hope we will be back one summer in the future!

A Bell tent you bring the rest

SophieRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We stayed in one of the Bell tents on (very) short notice and Matt was very helpful and friendly. The tent was bigger than we expected and absolutely exceeded our expectations. It was spotless and in a beautiful location, surrounded by nature. The bathrooms were spotless and the kitchen was perfect for our short stay. Matt was also very helpful giving us a recommendation for the Fastnet Bar for food. After seeing the full location I would absolutely recommend to everyone and would definitely return to stay in one of the GeoDomes or EcoCabins!

The Cosy Cabin - East Ferry - Cork

AlanRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Brilliant few days in Arti’s. The place is so peaceful and quiet with amazing views. While you need a car to get them, there are lots of nice amenities to drive to close by, but the real draw is the ability to go off grid for a few days in beautiful surroundings. Arti is also a super responsive and helpful host. Enjoy!

Pilgrims Rest on the wild Atlantic shore

AnnRating, 5 stars2 days ago
A relaxing retreat. We had a wonderful stay in Pilgrim’s Rest. The house is spacious and clean with beautiful natural light. The giant picture window has continuously changing views of the sea and the sky - whatever the weather, it’s so relaxing to just sit and watch by the warmth of the cosy wood burning stove. The kitchen has everything you need. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean. The location is perfect for finding beautiful beaches and small towns. We visited Long Strand - a 5 minute drive and had lunch in The Fish Basket - well worth a visit for the fresh seafood, good coffee and generous slices of delicious cakes. We found a few ‘hidden gems’ if you like to swim or just explore - Sandscove - so pretty to the East. You are also a stone’s throw to Glandore and Union Hall. We drove onwards to find Squince Beach and swam there - beautiful spot. A couple of issues with the heating but the host Paul did everything he could to sort it out.

"Lazy Acre" - Waterfront - Wild Atlantic Way

ArnoldRating, 5 starstoday
Second time staying at the Lazy Acre! Always a great time staying in this lovely home. Great location (ten-minute walk from the town centre or Celtic Ross), close to the beach (Warren Beach), peaceful and very clean. The house can fit a group of seven people for a weekend. Booked the Lazy Acre again for the Rosscarbery Surf Turf and Tar. Anne and Gerry are lovely hosts, as always. Very responsive, respectful and very helpful with recommendations. Can’t wait to book it again for next year.

Scenic Country Retreat with Breathtaking Views

KristinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I would not hesitate to book this property again. My family of four met up with my sister and her husband for a small family reunion of sorts and this was the perfect home-base. It was perfectly clean, the beds were comfortable, and every room came with its own amenity basket, including towels, and bathroom supplies. We arrived to welcome gifts in the kitchen and were greeted by their lovely sheep. Fergus even made arrangements for our children to feed the animals twice daily… This was a huge hit. There is a pub and coffee spot nearby, and inch beach is a less than five minute drive. This was a much anticipated holiday for my family and staying here was a vital part of the overall experience. I may have overlooked this in the listing, but there were very thoughtful steps taken on this property to make it very kid safe and friendly. This includes gates on the stairs, high chair, a playroom and a sandbox outside. Very much appreciated. Thanks F & M!

Spacious House with Private Pier, Beara, Co. Cork

TeresaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We fell in love with this house. It’s in a beautifully secluded spot with direct access to the water. We swam each morning and it was bliss. The layout of the house is great, with a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room and a gorgeous deck that gets the sun. The surrounding area is stunning. We particularly liked the Buddhist centre and vegetarian cafe, which is in a gorgeous spot with breathtaking views. Would love to go back and spend more time exploring.

The Admiral's House, Bere Island

PatriciaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Admiral House was the perfect spot for family getaway on beautiful Bere Island. The house was clean and had every amenity needed including a stroller and high chair for a toddler. Lots to explore on the island and there are 2 local ferries for day trips to Beara Peninsula. The host and her grandma were so kind dropping off Irish bread and a quiche. All in all a lovely visit would highly recommend for a quiet relaxing time.

Landsdowne Cottage Forest Garden

TraceyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Claire's place is everything as advertised and more, we had beach walks, forest walks, mountain treks and came back to a home away from home, it was lovely and comfy. We didn't need Claire for much as there was nothing wrong but we did have the pleasure of meeting with her and that just added to the overall experience, she is super friendly and a wealth of local knowledge. Thank you Claire, we had a wonderful time, and will be seeing you again soon hopefully. Michelle, Paddy, Raychel and Pauric xx

Little Cregg was perfect for our family. The setting is beautiful. The house and garden are private but just a minutes walk from the beach. Tralong Bay is sheltered and offers great swimming and kayaking. The property is a short drive from Glandore which has great pubs and restaurants. The coastline and countryside is stunning and great for cyclists. The local folk are friendly and welcoming. We were here in mid Spring and the wild flowers were a delight. The house was very comfortable. The treats Ann left to welcome us and the hot outdoor shower were added bonuses. Thank you.

House in Rossbrin Cove, Schull

KateRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We loved ever second of our stay here. Perfect for a big family/group holiday.. the house was spotless, spacious and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need. There was a gorgeous welcome basket waiting for us with bubbly, cheeses, chocolate, coffee, etc. - a very nice touch that was much appreciated! Beautiful outdoor area with brand new bbq and seats, over looking amazing views of the sea. Sitting room was very cosy with stove which was used most nights! All bedrooms were very comfortable and showers were 10/10. There was very much a luxurious feel to the place with a lot of attention to detail - like great quality towels and linen, diffusers, etc.! Location wise , 5-10 mins from ballydehob- ideal for coffees in the AM, and 10 mins from Schull with nice lunch spots and pub! We can’t wait to come back! Exceeded our expectations! Thank you Gillian!

Had a perfect week here. We took paddle boards with us which was great fun. The house itself was incredibly spacious and so well equipped with everything it was like being in someone's home. The cupboards had everything we needed in the way of condiments, sauces, tea etc. Also having 2 dishwashers made eating at home so easy.
A panoramic view of the calm ocean reflects dark clouds above, with the distant coastline featuring gentle rolling hills and rocky formations. The tranquil waters extend toward the horizon, interrupted by subtle silhouettes of nearby islands and buoys, enhancing the serene atmosphere.

Coastal Paradise in West Cork

RobinRating, 5 stars32 months ago
We stayed in Dave’s home for 3 nights but wanted to stay forever. The home is well equipped, cosy, cool artwork and loads of records to listen to. The mature garden is stunning to relax in and look over the ocean. Down the end of the garden is steps to the beach where we spent the whole weekend swimming and kayaking - absolute heaven! We brought a kayak but there was even one for us to use at the house! It’s literally beside a lovely little pub and a few minutes walk from a restaurant (the mussels are so fresh and tasty!). We enjoyed every minute and Dave was a fantastic host. Thanks! Robin & Danny

Luxury Lake side Property Split level bungalow

RobertRating, 5 stars33 months ago
Alan and Elaine are unbelievable hosts. Trust me you get way more than what you pay for in this place. Words can’t express how awesome and majestic the view is of Lough Guitane. Two families (4 adults and 7 kids ages 5-14) stayed six nights and saw a lot of the area thanks to Alan and his awesome recommendations. Five large bedrooms give us plenty of room for everyone. Plenty of very nice and well kept washrooms, a wonderfully large kitchen and sitting areas facing the lake with gigantic floor to ceiling windows give you a great view of the lake. The kids appreciated the gaming systems in the “second” sitting room. There were plenty of toys outside to play with. The kids spent a lot of time on these outdoor toys (racing trikes and mini tractors etc). If you’re into animals, you’re in for a treat as the sheep, cows, ducks and hens were all visiting in their neighbouring pasture regularly. The kids loved checking on them and even gave them names. The water is a very short walk down to the beach (perhaps 100m) on the same property. From there you can canoe or kayak (provided by the hosts) or even swim, which we all did with regularity. I strongly recommend hiking mangerton mountain, which is a five min drive away. Laundry room, kitchen supplies, freezer, spices, there was everything we needed. What a wonderful place to stay! Highly recommend.
