Located in the town next to Narai-juku, a post town on the Nakasendo Road, it is a historic town that has prospered as a producer of Kiso lacquerware since the Edo period. It was built in 1931 in a town that has been selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Historic Buildings and still has lacquerware shops. Limited to one group per day without meals, the entire building is available for rent. I think the charm of Hirasawa is the beauty and richness of everyday life. I would be happy if you could stay in this old town as if you were living here, reading, taking a walk, drinking local sake (sake and wine), sleeping and waking up slowly. Listen to the babbling of the stream and the refreshing wind of the highlands during the day, and gaze at the moonlight with a warm drink in hand at night.An unusual villa with a grand piano interior with a cabin interior creates an unusual, yet familiar space. We moved from the city with our one-year-old daughter in 2020, and we were fascinated by Fujimicho and decided to move in eight weeks.We had a luxurious time in the abundance of nature, and by the time it was eight weeks, we felt like we would "continue to live in this town".We named it "8 weeks" from the desire to have a "stay here".
