The best Airbnb I have ever been. Couldn’t ask for more, felt like home.

Location, Location, Location...this place was perfectly situated on Ipanema Beach! The view from the balcony was breathtaking! The host was very welcoming and accommodative. We wouldn't hesitate staying here if we are ever in Rio again.

Guys, it was worth every penny we paid to stay there! The hosts are super attentive and polite, they respond quickly, a jaw-dropping view, I'll be back for sure

Claudia was a delight. The place is gorgeous. The location is perfect, 1 min walk away from station, 5 min walk from Ipanema.

Honestly completely loved Henry's place! Getting inside was a bit sketchy at first but very easy. Once inside, the place was fantastic, the views in person from the terrace was honestly amazing, the pictures on the listing don't do it justice! I'll be booking again for sure when back in Rio. The place inside was very clean. It is inside a pacified favela so seeing armed men is very common, I didn't mind at all as they mind their own business. I was walking back to the airbnb at 2-3am and never felt in danger( My girlfriend and I were dressed very nice, however, out of precaution, didn't have any jewelry displaying). I will say that if your not a fan of a little adventure, it might not be for you, in my opinion it was a great and fun experience and provided me with a completely different experience of Rio. Henry was also very accommodating and catered to our itinerary, we will absolutely be coming back! Thanks Henry and Yuri!

Marvelous place, beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable. The location is great, just a few meters from the beach and close to a lot of stores and restaurants. Lively neighborhood. The hosts were very helpful too and willing to help. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

My wife and I stayed for 3 weeks. Great neighborhood. Friendly people that worked in the building. Also met some nice neighbors. Very updated interior or apartment. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Eno was easy to communicate with. Obrigado!

We enjoyed our stay at Cynthia’s, but this place is not for everyone! If you are looking to relax around the house, it is great and a beautiful. The wifi worked very well, the bed was comfortable, and there are two cats around who were lovely. However, if you’re looking to get out and explore the area, taking the boats can get frustrating, especially if you’re staying for more than a few days. We found the boat drivers would keep trying to charge us more than 3 reals, so if you don’t pay with Pix make sure you have exact change or they will keep the rest. You cannot access anything on the island the house is located, so you have to commute to any restaurants unless you cook. The cost of the boats can add up if you’re coming and going from the island frequently. That being said, I would recommend staying at Cynthia’s if you’re looking for a relaxing stay for a few days! If you want to stay on a quiet island, this is a good place for you!

We loved Leon's loft! Super comfortable, a great location and easy to access. We felt super safe at all times, close to the place there is a place to have lunch, to buy some basic things and everyone is very nice! As it is in a higher place, we chose to always go up by motorcycle taxi, which was quiet and fast. We had an unforeseen event with the shower and Leon, and André, who is co-host, were super helpful and helped us with everything. We will definitely return and highly recommend!

I can’t even put into words how amazing Alessandra’s place was. We were so sad to leave because we fell in love with the location, views and everything that was amazing about this stay. The neighborhood power went out briefly for some construction and Alessandra was very communicative and proactive in helping us know when the power was back on. We felt incredibly safe and at home. The amazing attention to detail and the little things like some full candy jars, amazing tea were very appreciated. The place was very clean from the bathroom, to the bedroom and kitchen. Did I mention the views! It truly was a slice of heaven. We will be back again! I would highly recommend this place. It was my best Airbnb experience. Thank you Alessandra!!!

This Airbnb is our favorite one so far! The way it has been decorated is beautiful and all the amenities it has to offer was incredible!! We felt safe and right at home. Roberta met us at check in, gave us helpful information and even baked us a cake! Would definitely recommend if in Rio.

By far, one of my favorite stays and host. Karla was super attentive. She also recommended wonderful places to eat and places to see in Rio. This will be my new stay in Rio .. beautiful location right across the beach. Will definitely book again

The best location in Barra, the apartment matches the photos and descriptions, the building is easy to get around, it is a quiet place and the environment is always clean with the daily cleaning that is done in the apartment. Mr. Mario is very attentive and available! I'll be back!

You should be able to leave a 6-star rating. Romeu's apartment is an 11/10, it exceeds all expectations. Apartment remodeled to new, with complete equipment (for example, with towels, chairs, umbrella and beach refrigerator), everything impeccable, functional, unbeatable view, perfect condominium and location (right in front there is a supermarket and just below, a restaurant of first class international cuisine, two blocks away: pharmacies, service station, bakery, etc.), the beach in posto 7 is one of the best and quietest in Barra. Anyway, unbeatable from every angle, thank you very much Romeu and see you next time (which there will undoubtedly be).

Well, I already rated it a few days ago regarding another reservation. I confirm what has been said. I would add that André was always willing to resolve all my concerns, from the simplest to the most complex, such as a health issue. Excellent host. Regarding the apartment, everything is fine, beautiful and with an amazing view. In addition to having all the hotel amenities, which are very good too. I'll be back for sure.
