This is an excellent house in an excellent location of the northern KZN coast. Beach is a small stroll away and the house is designed in a very functional way, with a big common area but very private bedrooms. One of my best finds on AirBnB.

A beautiful, spacious beach home with gorgeous views and an unspoilt beach. Right on the beach & with easy access to the beach. Secure complex. We’ll definitely be back!

Douglas our host is fabulous, always a message away alongside Thulani our caretaker who lives on site while maintaining privacy for us guests. The facilities are more than perfect for us three adults and we slept like babies. Book the house and you will be blown away. Thank you for having us, we will come back again.

Thank you Chad for a great stay ! The location of your home is perfect and the views from the house overlooking the sea and lagoon are spectacular. It was very peaceful sitting on the deck watching the sunsets. The kitchen was well equipped but lacking a dishwasher. Overall a great experience !

We had a lovely stay. The view is spectacular and having our breakfast and dinner on the veranda overlooking the sea and watching the sun rise and set was so special. The unit is very large and we comfortably stayed there with 4 adults and 2 children. The kids loved the pool!! And we walked straight onto the beach every day. We’ll definitely book this unit again. 😊

Wow wow wow! We just got home from our Easter family vacation and we were so sad to leave, the impeccable views, it really felt like home. We had the most amazing stay. The house was beautiful. The house, the interior, the outdoors, the beach access, the beds, Goodness and Owen, I can go on and on. I really would like to come back there again. My family and I loved every second of it. (We only had an internet issues) however we did know that there weren’t any WiFi. I would highly recommend this accommodation. Vanessa thanks for sharing your amazing home with us. Mom said if she had your home, she wouldn’t change a thing about it, she would want it exactly the same.😌 Ps - Owen and Goodness made our stay perfect. A huge shoutout to them.

My fiancè and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property in Shaka's Rock, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by breathtaking ocean views and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The house itself is spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. We especially loved the open-plan living area and the outdoor patio. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, providing us with helpful tips and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Desiree was an outstanding host! From the moment we booked she was incredibly responsive and friendly. She out of her way to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. The accommodation exceeded our expectations—it was spotless, exactly as shown in the photos, and the perfect place to unwind. We had so much fun braaing, swimming and enjoying easy access to the beautiful beach. To top it all off, Desiree’s wonderful helper Busi, added an extra layer of warmth and hospitality to our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a truly memorable getaway!

What an amazing host. I really don’t know where to start. She’s the most understanding host I’ve ever came across. She didn’t have to make such exceptions for but she did.

Really enjoyed our stay at Dorado Bay, the unit was perfect, the beach right on your doorstep, sleeping and waking to the roaring breaking waves was amazing. Lovely big private balcony, where we spent most of our time when at the unit enjoying a braai.

We had a great relaxing family weekend away in this amazing space. Wish we could have stayed longer. The short walk directly onto the beach via an access controlled gate allowed us to enjoy the beach. The private pool was put to good use on returning from the beach to get away from the wind. The house is spacious with a great layout. Our host Elsie was great. We will definitely be back!

The views and sounds of the Indian Ocean were spectacular. The master bedroom and a secondary bedroom both had sliding door access to the large balcony. We were close to shopping and restaurants on Ballito. We went on a couple of excursions but the meeting point was about 45 min to an hour away, depending on time and traffic. The meeting point was down at south beach, close to the magnificent soccer stadium. This unit is on the third floor; there is no elevator, just in case you have problem with stairs. The property attendants were helpful and friendly as they assisted me with getting my luggage up to the third floor. All in all it was a wonderful vacation and would definitely stay at Melanie’s place again.
