Shushu is a renovated building that was a beloved clinic in the local area, mainly in Yokohama, Tsuruga City. During the war, a doctor who was working in Manchuria, when he returned home after the war, responded to the passionate request of the locals to open a clinic in this land where medical care was not sufficient, and opened the clinic. The locals were involved in the construction, for example, the men cut down and transported the trees from the mountains, the women carried the soil by hand, and the gardeners created a garden centered on a large pond to make the doctor's stay comfortable. It was a loving place created by the whole village. Later, transportation was developed, and when its role was over, it was considered for dismantling, but the owner of Akari was called upon to renovate it into its current form.
