Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ierapetra

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Marias Haus sehr genossen. Anreise und Abreise erfolgten ohne Probleme und sehr flexibel. Die Kommunikation mit Magdalena verlief hervorragend. Bei Fragen genügte eine kurze Nachricht, die immer sofort beantwortet wurde. Vor Ort erwarteten uns Maria und ihr kleiner – sehr süßer – Hund Rudi. Maria ist eine wunderbare Frau, die uns sehr herzlich und mit köstlichen Geschenken begrüßt hat. Auch während unseres Aufenthaltes brachte sie uns immer mal wieder kleine selbstgekochte Überraschungen vorbei. Das Haus ist wunderschön und sehr sauber. In der Küche findet man alles, was man zum Kochen benötigt, die Betten waren gemütlich und der Ausblick aus den drei Terrassen einfach atemberaubend. Wir haben es sehr genossen, auf der Terrasse zum Wohnzimmer lange und ausgiebig zu frühstücken und dabei auf das Meer zu blicken. Obwohl wir zwei Wochen in Marias Haus verbrachten, ist uns der Abschied am Ende sehr schwergefallen. Wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Truly beautiful villa! The photos simply do not do this place justice - this wonderful ‘wow’ factor home & surroundings are gorgeous. My family felt immediately at home & relaxed. Villa was clean, well stocked with equipment & our hosts Eleni & Marinos were lovely - both on hand when required & respectful of our privacy. We received a welcome package which was very thoughtful. Filter machine meant no need for bottled water. We walked up to Old Hersonissos a couple of times & enjoyed some lovely food & a little shopping in a vibrant atmosphere. Also we went shopping down in Limenas Chersonisou. We enjoyed BBQ at our villa, eating outside during a full super moon! 🌖 The mountain, the sea view & the sunsets are absolutely stunning. The outdoor gazebo area is fantastic for chilling day or night, with cold drinks (or ice creams) immediately on hand from the outdoor fridge. A/C great for all different areas, but the breeze was just as nice sometimes in the main area. Highly recommend 😊

Orgon Farm is a lovely, serene getaway. Located 30min south of Heraklion, it was a perfect central location. We enjoyed the baskets left every other morning by Manolis and his charming farm. We dream of staying here again!

Accueil parfait, d'une très grande gentillesse et professionnelle.... La vue est superbe et le personnel toujours à l'écoute...restaurant très sympathique et excellent....et petit déjeuner parfait. Piscine accessible et très bien entretenue... Et les services supplémentaires que nous avons demandés ont été faits avec rapidité et compréhension.... 10 sur 10 à cette réservation ! Bravo

Wij werden goed ontvangen! Angelina was een enorm fijne vrouw om mee te communiceren. De eerste avond bij aankomst kregen wij avondeten van haar, omdat we 24 uur vertraging hadden en de supermarkten niet open waren. Villa was erg schoon. Enige minpunt was de wifi in de villa. De verbinding was erg slecht en op een kamer had je helemaal geen verbinding. Nadat wij aangaven dat er geen wifi was vertelde ze dat het geregeld zou worden. Nadat wij dit hadden aangekaart waren wij nog 9 dagen in de villa. In die resterende tijd hebben we daar niks meer van terug gehoord. De taxi die werd aangeboden om ons te brengen was ook een goede taxi service. En alle andere activiteiten en services die werden aangeboden waren van hoge kwaliteit. De schoonmaaksters waren goed en grondig in hun werk waardoor de villa goed werd onderhouden. Kortom was op de wifi na het een hele fijne vakantie ervaring en een hele fijne host.

We had a wonderful stay here. Very peaceful. Often all you will hear are the bells clanging from the local goats. Delicious food at the onsite taverna. Beautiful lodge, with special touches such as a bottle of wine waiting for us to congratulate us on our wedding. Of note, this villa is very high up in the mountains. If you're flying into heraklian airport that evening, it's a long and dark drive up some very narrow and winding roads, so you may want to make the drive in the daytime. It's about an hour drive up/down the mountain to any other town so be prepared to drive. But the scenery is beautiful...majestic mountains.

Anestis was extremely helpful and pleasant and the place is amazing! Great view and sound of the water which was very relaxing. Close to a great beach town which was walkable.

Huset var større og bedre enn det vi trodde ut ifra bildene. Antonis er rask til å svare og ordner raskt opp hvis det er behov. Anbefales! Kort vei til det meste, men man bør ha bil.

We absolutely loved this villa, Mania very kindly greeted us at Midnight as we had a late flight, and yes the reviews are right, she arrived with the most amazing moussaka and even made a vegetarian one. Mania was always available for any advice/recommendations and managed the tricky combination of being present but not intrusive. There was also a really thoughtful welcome gift of homemade food waiting for us. The kitchen was really well equipped, and super clean, we ate in a lot and enjoyed dinners on the covered terrace. We loved the pool, the kids especially, we spent a lot of time in the pool as it was very hot. The beds were comfy, the rooms all have their own bathroom, and terraces, there was lots of thoughtful touches throughout. The garden is beautiful and I don't think we managed to sit in all the different seating areas in the week. The winner for me was the decor, it was so beautiful, it was like staying in house in a Home Decor magazine. We will definitely come back.

The is a family house, simple, pleasent and authentic. The natural surroundings are amazing. The silence is incredible. Meni and Andreas, the owners, are very nice people and we felt the love they invested in every detail. Thanks 🙏

Luisa's place is a magnificent little gem nestled in an amazing surrounding. It's the perfect hideout if you enjoy the tranquility of village life and hiking the mountains. The little house is beautifully decorated with local materials and furniture, giving it a warm and cozy feel. The view from the terrace is breathtaking! (also for looking at the stars at night) We thoroughly enjoyed our hikes in the mountains and gorges, and dining at the family tavernas in the neighbouring towns/villages, which offered delicious food. Luisa was extremely helpful and responsive, providing us with a long list of excellent recommendations for restaurants, day trips, shopping, and more. Thanks for everything, Luisa! We will certainly come back!

Pasiphae House was something out of a dream! It was beautifully designed in the traditional Crete Village homes style. The location is isolate in the mountains, but amongst a great community of people. We were greeted by Yianna and Koula that gave us the walk through of the house, and we're always in constant communication. Ioanna supplied us with a long list of things to do and try in the area which we took full advantage of. Overall it was a beautiful stay and would highly recommend.

Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Urlaub abseits des Tourismus in den kretischen Bergen. Wir haben vor allem die Outdoor-Küche und den Pool sehr genossen. Im September ist es allerdings auf dem Berg schon deutlich kühler als an der Küste. Da ein Auto aber ohnehin unbedingt notwendig ist, konnten wir an windigen oder bewölkten Tagen prima an die Strände ausweichen. Konstantinos hat uns auf Nachfrage tolle Tipps gegeben und wir haben 2x eine kostenlose Reinigung angeboten bekommen. Klare Empfehlung!

Unser Aufenthalt bei Martin war perfekt. Das Apartment ist großzügig, sehr gepflegt und man hat vom Balkon aus einen fantastischen Meerblick. Die Anlage liegt sehr ruhig der Garten drumherum, sehr schön bepflanzt. Rosie, die Ansprechpartnerin kümmert sich rührend um alles und gibt gute Tipps. Wir haben drei wunderschöne Tage Terrasse, Pool und Meer genossen und die wunderschöne Gegend erkundet. Vielen Dank für alles, wir werden gerne wiederkommen. Kirsten und Heinrich

Wir waren zu sechst (zwei Erwachsene, vier Kinder zwischen 1-15 Jahren) eine Woche im Februar in Myrtos Haus. Leider erwischten wir paar der kältesten Tage des Winters und die Heizung im Wohnzimmer war defekt. Myrto hatte uns aber einen Heizstrahler und reichlich Feuerholz für den Kamin besorgt. Wassertemperatur und Wasserdruck im Badezimmer waren niedrig wie häufig auf Kreta. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und schön gestaltet und ausgestattet. Der Garten ist eine wilde Oase, wir genossen die reifen Mandarinen, Orangen und Zitronen sowie das Baumhaus und die Hängematte. Die Nähe zum Kies/Steine-Strand am Ende des Gartens war für die Kinder zum Spielen sehr toll, Mirtos selbst ist in paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar einschließlich Supermarkt und Bäckerei. Man konnte das ansonsten für Ausflüge notwendige Auto (im Februar kaum öffentliche Verkehrsmittel) problemlos stehenlassen und Einkäufe zu Fuß erledigen. Die Kommunikation mit Myrto war sehr nett, prompt, proaktiv seitens von ihr.

Wir hatten als Familie mit Kleinkind einen super Aufenthalt! Die ganze Umgebung ist sehr schön und gepflegt, die Wohnungen sind originell & ordentlich / sauber. Hier und da ist die Küche etwas reduziert ausgestattet, wir haben uns jedoch zurecht gefunden. Christos ist sehr freundlich, Check in und Check out waren super einfach. Wir kommen gern wieder! The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

We had a wonderful time. The villa felt private even though there are two other villas next door. My friends and I loved the pool and how spacious the whole place was. We had stunning views of the nearby sea and town. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The only negative was the water pressure in the upstairs showers. Nota was very accommodating. She offered to clean the apartment during our stay and helped us arrange our hire cars. (From my group's experience, a car is highly recommended as taxis and public transport weren't great). The village, beaches and restaurants in the area were also great. Overall, my friends and I were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back.

Nous sommes extrêmement ravis de notre séjour chez Georges et sa famille. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par des hôtes d’une grande gentillesse. Leur bienveillance a vraiment fait la différence, et nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous tout au long de notre séjour. Le logement a grandement contribué à la qualité de nos vacances. Il est idéalement situé, ce qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement de toutes les activités à proximité. De plus, les tarifs sont très attractifs, offrant un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Me and my fiancé had the best nights stay here. Beautiful new clean apartment with the most comfiest beds. Not too close to Malia main strip so quiet but only a 5 minute walk if you wish for a night out and a supermarket just round the corner. Relaxing pool and bar with lovely friendly staff. Very welcoming hoteliers. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay at. Lovely shower and suits self catering needs. Book and you won't be disappointed Thank you Melissa Apartments. We will be back again soon !

Le logement de Mme Rosa et Magdalena est une véritable perle dans le secteur d’Heraklion. Les couchers de soleil sont mémorables,la douche extérieure est formidable et le terrain de tennis est unique. Les hôtesses étaient aimables et les recommandations étaient utiles. Petit paradis! Nous recommandons sans hésiter!

Our stay in Crete with Evi & Giorgos was flawless. They gave us a very warm welcome, greeted us personally, despite an unplanned delay. They explained everything to us in detail, gave us tips on the surrounding area, told us exciting stories and were always quick to help us out. The villa is beautifully furnished with attention to detail. The kitchen is superbly equipped. The two bedrooms consisted of a double bed and two bunk beds. The beds were perfectly adequate and very cosy, you just shouldn't have any snoring flatmates 😄 The terrace and pool are super nice and great for relaxing. We were lucky that the second studio was not booked when we visited. So we had the whole terrace to ourselves. The beach is just a 20-minute walk away, and and there are cafés (tip: Mr Bean) and small mini-markets along the way. However, it is generally worth hiring a car. Ask Evi & Giorgos, if you need one 😉 In summary, our stay was worth every penny and we would definitely come back!

Wir haben mit 5 Erwachsenen phantastische erholsame 2 Wochen in Alexandros Villa verbracht. Die Villa ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich für einen komfortablen Urlaub wünscht. Wir haben uns von Beginn an wohlgefühlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die herausragende Lage der Villa. Der Blick gerade vom oberen Balkon auf die Berge ist atemberaubend. Mit einer Sitzmöglichkeit würde der Balkon noch einladender sein, um den einen oder anderen Sonnenuntergang genießen zu können. Alexandros ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber. Er hat uns persönlich vom Flughafen abgeholt, half uns beim Transport der Gepäckstücke und begleitete uns zur Villa. Er gab uns wertvolle Tips zum Erkunden der Insel und war jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Das gab uns ein gutes Gefühl. Wir Können die Villa von Alexandros uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
