This is the most precious peaceful house that I could have found for Spring Break this year. Lance provided all instructions, had everything you could possibly need onsite, and has an amazing place. I will definitely book again in the future. I had two kids with me ages 4 and 16 and they both loved it !!

We loved our stay at Down da Bayou Lodge! Its location is perfect. You feel like you’re in the country but town is just a little ways from you. There’s plenty of things to do nearby but the best part of it is you can fish and crab right in the canal behind the house. There was also plenty of wildlife to see right there too. Jeremy and Stephanie are amazing hosts. They sent detailed instructions and expectations the day before check-in. Once we were there, we had questions and they responded right away. We will definitely return! Thank you so much for an amazing week!!!

Amazing stay for my family of four. The interior was sparkling clean and very comfortable. We even had homemade cookies upon our arrival! Beds were great - I slept SO well. The outdoor area was incredible and my boys - ages 2 and 6 - had a blast. One of them even cried when we left because he loved it so much! Lance was extremely friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this location to anyone! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay while visiting for a softball tournament. The hosts were a delight to interact with and the property was fantastic. This area has great places to eat and shop nearby. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Cheerfully and tastefully decorated this very clean and tidy little house on the hill made a great spot for us to explore the area. Morning sun and afternoon shade make the patio just right for coffee and kickback time. Add a welcoming and knowledgable host ready to share local info and…bingo!

I definitely needed this quiet gateway. It’s truly is a beautiful property. I love the charm of the cabin feel. I felt like I was in my own island and that is what I was seeking. The design is so cute and the Cajun charm. I love the beautiful heart on the tree as I was walking around exploring the property. The vibes the property gives are secluded and tranquility at its finest. Really good place for reflection and meditation for restarting yourself back to center. The host Amy was very nice with responding to my questions. I appreciated her letting me arrive early. I did feel very welcome and I appreciated the snacks and drinks. I would stay here again. It’s really an Introvert Paradise when you need some alone time just to breathe and focus on yourself. I love seeing the cows 🐄 and hearing them moo 🐮. Love animals and being around all the time. (Pet Parent) Wonderful place to bring your pets to run around and have fun. Much happiness to you always and forever Amy. Thank you 😊

We loved our stay at The Sugar Shack ! The house was great, just as advertised and described. In particular, the restroom/shower connected to the main bedroom was awesome, especially for anyone dealing with mobility issues (walk-in shower was fantastic). The house was beautifully decorated. The decorations/theme were lovely, and caught the attention of the visitors/family that came by to visit during our stay. Also, the back patio was awesome, and just so relaxing in the morning when we sat out back to drink our coffee. The house was a great find for us as we were searching for a house in the area for someone with mobility issues (my mother in our case). But with so few handicap-accessible options in the area, The Sugar Shack was lovely, and just such a great fit for us! Jessica was a great host. She was considerate as to why we came in to town (funeral), and checked in to make sure things were going well. Communications, check-in & check-out were super easy & clear. Thanks Jessica!

it was a very nice place to stay. It was very comfy and offered lots of space.The mattress was nice and firm..allowing us to to relax and get a great night's sleep. It was a well maintained home, very obvious that Jason takes pride in this home, taking good care in its maintenance. Oh. and a super spacious shower !! We plan on returning. You won't regret renting this home.

This was a perfect place for our extended family to gather together. The house has a great layout, plenty of space, and a convenient location. It's one of our favorites.

I highly recommend this location especially if you are in town for sports tournaments. The condo is literally 3 minutes away from the youngsville sports complex and close to numerous restaurants. Heather was highly responsible and accommodating. I will definitely come back.

Brittany's place was perfect for our trip. Everything was spotless, there were plenty of cooking utensils, dishes, pots, & pans. Brittany's was always responsive and was flexible with check in and check out to accommodate our flights. The outside seating was so nice to be able to enjoy the weather. I seen a different review about a train that made me question booking her place, so I wanted to say yes the train is a real thing, however, I don't think it really matters where you stay in New Iberia, you are going to hear that train, so do not let that affect your decision on booking this place. We would definitely stay here again.
