I had the pleasure of staying at Tensas Tower, and the images don’t do it justice. Paul, the host, was excellent—responsive and thoughtful. The location is perfect, within walking distance of great spots, yet feels private. The architectural design is stunning, blending industrial and nautical elements. Multiple balconies offer plenty of seating and are positioned perfectly for sunrise and sunset views. Inside, the space is larger than expected, with a smart layout, great surround sound, and a record collection. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the shower—with five heads and great pressure—is a hidden gem. Now, the staircase is small and steep, but that’s part of the architectural charm. I recommend bringing a small suitcase or soft bag for easier transport. That said, the space is well thought out, making for an unforgettable stay. If you’re looking for a unique getaway that blends comfort, style, and great design, the Tensas Tower is absolutely worth it.

This is the most precious peaceful house that I could have found for Spring Break this year. Lance provided all instructions, had everything you could possibly need onsite, and has an amazing place. I will definitely book again in the future. I had two kids with me ages 4 and 16 and they both loved it !!

This place was perfect for our family stay. The land was absolutely beautiful and Mary went completely over the top to make us comfortable. We were SHOCKED at the hospitality actually. We've used AIR BNB for several years and never received the amount of generosity as we did here. These people are just what they call "good people". From the fresh eggs in the morning to the fresh baked cherry cobbler to the abundance of food for breakfast that was left for us with little cute notes. We couldn't have been more blessed to find The Farm for our stay. The inside it very cute and clean with plenty towels, soaps, and extra blankets. The kitchen is fully stocked. Will book again!

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely incredible! The courtyard was beautiful creating such a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights was the breathtaking bayou-side scenery—waking up to those serene views was truly unforgettable. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Bayou! The house was so clean and comfortable. Mickey and Tiffany did an outstanding job renovating and decorating this place. A true gem! We would love to stay with them again in the future.

A magical retreat we’ll never forget❤️ What an unbelievable stay! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a hidden gem designed with love and care. The kids were all smiles—kayaking, fishing, kicking the soccer ball across the open yard, and playing cornhole under the cozy covered space beneath the cabin. One of the most peaceful moments was watching the wood ducks glide across the water at sunset, gently landing on their little house. Nature truly put on a show for us. Inside, the cabin was a dream—warm, inviting, and full of thoughtful touches. The sound of rain dancing on the tin roof was its own lullaby. The coffee bar was a delight each morning, and soaking in the garden tub with bath bombs felt like a mini spa day. Each room told a story, lovingly decorated with nods to local treasures—like the Tabasco Factory and Jungle Gardens on Avery Island, and Rip Van Winkle Gardens on Jefferson Island. It felt like the spirit of the region was wrapped into every detail

This Bayou Teche cabin was a precious as it looked. It was so nice sitting on the quaint porch in a rocker, drinking coffee in the morning and looking out to the bayou! It was such a peaceful place and Jena was great! It was such a comfortable place to stay for a few days and so convenient to town.

This is one of my favorite AirBNB stays! The house is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The photos do not do it justice. It is evident that Lauren poured much effort into the details here, and procured beautiful pieces to make this place the magical spot that it is. We found everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including fresh coffee. The attention to detail was remarkable, they even provided candles. This place was romantic, charming and welcoming. The historic home immediately drew you into the deep south and created an authentic feeling of the bayou. We loved rocking on the porch and listening to the peepers as the breeze blew the Spanish moss in the trees. Right down to the bedding, and quilts, this place was thoughtfully appointed. It is the opposite of a generic and sterile hotel. For travelers who appreciate energy, magic and creating an experience - this is the spot for you! We loved the wildlife, too!
