Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Iberia Parish

I had the pleasure of staying at Tensas Tower, and the images don’t do it justice. Paul, the host, was excellent—responsive and thoughtful. The location is perfect, within walking distance of great spots, yet feels private. The architectural design is stunning, blending industrial and nautical elements. Multiple balconies offer plenty of seating and are positioned perfectly for sunrise and sunset views. Inside, the space is larger than expected, with a smart layout, great surround sound, and a record collection. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the shower—with five heads and great pressure—is a hidden gem. Now, the staircase is small and steep, but that’s part of the architectural charm. I recommend bringing a small suitcase or soft bag for easier transport. That said, the space is well thought out, making for an unforgettable stay. If you’re looking for a unique getaway that blends comfort, style, and great design, the Tensas Tower is absolutely worth it.

Wow what a beautiful oasis. This has to be one of my fave Airbnb places I’ve ever stayed at in the world. Totally recommend. We stayed for 2 nights at the end of our family holiday to the southern states of USA. Our 3 sons all agreed it was their fave place too particularly my 2 younger sons who were overjoyed by the lake and being able to fish to their hearts content. Our only regret is that we didn’t book to stay longer. All the little touches as well as the location (and super friendly neighbours) make this a gem not to be missed.

This place was perfect for our family stay. The land was absolutely beautiful and Mary went completely over the top to make us comfortable. We were SHOCKED at the hospitality actually. We've used AIR BNB for several years and never received the amount of generosity as we did here. These people are just what they call "good people". From the fresh eggs in the morning to the fresh baked cherry cobbler to the abundance of food for breakfast that was left for us with little cute notes. We couldn't have been more blessed to find The Farm for our stay. The inside it very cute and clean with plenty towels, soaps, and extra blankets. The kitchen is fully stocked. Will book again!

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely incredible! The courtyard was beautiful creating such a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights was the breathtaking bayou-side scenery—waking up to those serene views was truly unforgettable. The home itself was spotless, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was fantastic, offering great recommendations and ensuring we had a seamless experience. Adorable spot right off downtown New Iberia. Mickey and Tiffany were very proactive in their communications and gave clear descriptions of where to park and how to check in. The place is sweet, with a comfortable bed, cute washer/dryer unit, great bathtub, and peaceful back deck overlooking the bayou. We also appreciated the bottled water! Thank you for a lovely stay!

We loved our stay here! Beautiful, peaceful neighborhood right next to the bayou. It was perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee on the front porch! The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed!

This is one of my favorite AirBNB stays! The house is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The photos do not do it justice. It is evident that Lauren poured much effort into the details here, and procured beautiful pieces to make this place the magical spot that it is. We found everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including fresh coffee. The attention to detail was remarkable, they even provided candles. This place was romantic, charming and welcoming. The historic home immediately drew you into the deep south and created an authentic feeling of the bayou. We loved rocking on the porch and listening to the peepers as the breeze blew the Spanish moss in the trees. Right down to the bedding, and quilts, this place was thoughtfully appointed. It is the opposite of a generic and sterile hotel. For travelers who appreciate energy, magic and creating an experience - this is the spot for you! We loved the wildlife, too!
