Vacation rentals with lake access in Hvalfjörður

沿着金色的荒野一路开车，进入Hurandalur农舍的时候，感觉时光倒流，充满了故事感：《秋日传奇》《走出非洲》《廊桥遗梦》……所有光影都是最浪漫而又带一些伤感的电影中最应该有的样子。 这些电影中还应该有一个特别手巧能干的男主人公——农舍主人自己制作的手工家具和丹麦设计大师的古董家具和谐地摆放在一起，每个窗户都是尺寸角度不同的四季画框。 这个离雷克雅未克40分钟车程的现代农舍，看起来承载了那么多故事，其实2024年刚刚建好。夏天的时候我们就想预定，可是没有订到。农舍私家占地700公顷，也就是折合一万亩地，或者7平方公里（700万平方米），真的一眼望不到边！从灰色木栅栏开进来还要很久，旁边有一道小溪蜿蜒流过。 农舍是房子的主人Halldor为妻子和两个孩子度假修建的。里面充满了主人对家人和生活的热爱： 玻璃上贴着很多手作的植物标本，Halldor说是为了防止鸟儿撞到玻璃上制作的。 桌上放着一张手绘地图，告诉住客哪里是桑拿房，蒸完桑拿，小溪的哪个拐弯特别适合洗个露天的溪水澡。 以及如何沿着溪流和火山岩走到湖边，哪里可能会有点滑。 进门的地方挂着防风大衣，摆着四种尺寸的防水靴子，客人都可以使用。 在房子里居然还有非常专业的日本剑山和花剪，是Halldor圣诞节的时候送给太太的。我从田野里剪取红叶黄叶插成茶席花，Halldor说我选的红叶是蓝莓树枝，夏天遍野浆果。 Tony泡了老丛水仙。老师第一次看到冰岛的秋日荒原的时候，就说：“这时候一杯老水仙最适合秋意漫漫。”在荒原中喝老丛水仙，在体感上简直神奇，从头顶一直通到底骨，我们都是如此。可能是环境太清明，这在其它地方从来没有过。 房子有三个卧室，每间本身不大，但都有超大的窗户可以看风景。枕着极光入睡，迎着朝霞醒转。 房子里挂着一个海报，写着： 在沙滩写作，在夏天和秋天阅读； 在冬天和春天阅读，把文字写在风里。

A great place to stay to see many points of interest outside Reykjavik and northern spots. Extremely clean and very modern. A quiet area as well.

La casa más increíble en la que hemos estado, todo lujo de detalles.. no faltaba de nada, la casa preciosa, el jacuzzi una auténtica locura, nos hemos enamorado completamente de la casa!! Volveremos seguro!

If you are looking to stay near the National Park and enjoy a private, incredibly quite relaxing trip, this is the most amazing choice. For us this home was the perfect space, incredible design, stunning views with impeccable lighting. We needed to rest and relax while exploring the vast landscape of Iceland and this was beyond perfect. We will absolutely be back.

This place is great! Very cozy and close to the golden circle and Selfoss, which has great restaurants! We especially enjoyed the cozy vibe of the interior furniture and kitchen. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and cold plunge combo. Magnús was really responsive when we had questions, and even got on the phone to walk us through how to fill the hot tub and turn off the lights so we could better view the aurora!

We had a great stay in Rakel’s home - thank you to all their help to make our first time in Iceland so wonderful!

What a gorgeous place in a brilliant location. We were greeted by the northern lights as we arrived and the views over Reykjavík are amazing. The house had everything we needed for 9 people including 3 children. The washing machine was very useful and the space to dry all our boots and coats was great after a day of waterfall hunting. Would definitely stay again. Marianne was a great host.

We've stayed here twice now and again it's absolutely amazing, the scenery, the apartment, the host all amazing and nothing to complain about. one of the best places I've ever stayed at.

A great quiet location in a very nice neighborhood. Have to have a car but can easily drive to local mall, Reykjavik, etc. we wanted a place to rest before flying out and this was perfect. The kitchen and some finishes were older than expected given photos, but very clean and quiet with a washer, drying rack and usb adaptor. Lovely chocolate and coffee maker as well. Beds very comfy.

Pour notre première nuit en Islande, nous avons apprécié le calme de l'appartement d'Helena. Il est agréablement spacieux et très très propre. Vraiment proche de l'aéroport, c'est un plaisir de s'y poser après une journée à voyager. Keflavik est une mignonne petite ville pour se balader. De la chambre, la vue sur la mer est apaisante. Notre petit garçon a vraiment apprécié les jouets à disposition et le petit lit installé pour lui. Merci beaucoup ✨

Great location & included parking. Newer apartment complex not far from the city. Area is still under a lot of construction but when finished it will be really beautiful. Apartment was wonderful, clean and spacious. Our family loved it! We even saw the northern lights right out our window! And you can walk around the building and see the beautiful ocean and a small black sand beach. Area felt very safe as well. Having washer and dryer was just what we needed. We also absolutely loved the food and ice cream place at the end of the street and the fact that it was open late! Thank you !

Dísa's accomodation was outstanding. It was everything we could have asked for and more. We wanted something remote so we had more chances of seeing the aurora and we were amazed how stunning it was at the property - better than the tour we went on! There were some lovely walks we could take from the front door - just make sure you dress for the weather! Her dog Bonzo even joined us for the hikes and he was a lovely companion showing us the way. Dísa even came and gave us some eggs freshly laid on the farm that morning! The property was clean, spacious and well equipped. There are some local activities that Dísa recommended and can get some discounts on. We opted for a lovely natural hot springs which was just the ticket to soak in the thermal rock pools with the snowy mountains in the backdrop. Thank you again for an amazing stay. A truly unforgettable visit to Iceland!

Spędziliśmy tydzień w apartamencie wynajmowanym przez Dagnę i był to wspaniały czas. Apartament jest świetnie zlokalizowany na wzgórzu z panoramicznym widokiem na miasto aż po ocean. Któregoś wieczora za oknem pojawiła się zorza polarna. Raczej dla osób dysponujących samochodem. Mieszkanie jest wygodne, można poczuć się jak u siebie w domu. Są wszystkie potrzebne udogodnienia. Dagny jest bardzo komunikatywnym gospodarzem. Szybko odpowiada na wiadomości i jest pomocna.

Yrja’s was fantastic. The apartment was located in a very nice modern neighborhood next to a beautiful hiking trail and lake. The property was very accessible by car to the city centre and very close to the supermarket. The apartment was modern and well furnished. We particularly liked the personal touches such as the children’s art work on the walls. Everything was immaculately clean and spotless. The bathroom was stunning, one of the nicest I’ve seen. We had a lovely stay and would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Iceland.

My family and I (5 adults) had a great stay there. Hjalmar and his wife greeted us when we arrived at the house. He was very responsive and flexible with our check-in. The place was clean and comfortable. It had everything. We would stay there again. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here. The hot tub was so nice, and we were able to see the Northern Lights! I would highly recommend staying here for easy access to Golden Circle. We hope to be back someday!

Our stay was perfect. The cabin was great and exactly as shown in the pictures. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances for a small kitchen. Eggert was quick to respond and check-in was easy and smooth. Great overall experience and would definitely recommend this place.

Gudny was an amazing, generous, and kind host. We felt immediately right at home and the home is well stocked with everything you could need as you adventure around Iceland. The location was excellent for our needs and it was quiet with beautiful views. The home was exactly as expected and the hot tub and outdoor shower were excellent! We would 100% stay again and highly recommend staying!!

Við dvöldum í bústaðnum um páskahelgina og vorum afar ánægð með allt. Bústaðurinn var frábær í alla staði — rúmgóður og snyrtilegur, með fullt af plássi fyrir alla fjölskylduna. Það var sérstaklega gott að hafa gestahúsið. Heiti potturinn var dásamlegur – fullkominn eftir göngutúra og til að njóta rólegra kvöldstunda undir stjörnubjörtum himni. Allt var til staðar sem við þurftum, og samskiptin við eigandann voru mjög góð og greið. Við myndum klárlega koma aftur og mælum eindregið með þessum bústað!

We had a wonderful two night stay at the farm. It was a good place to stay to get us closer to some of the places we wanted to see in the south. The barn is eclectic and big and had so many extra amenities. We cooked dinner in and played games at the big table. Walking to their private black beach was like from another world! We also loved seeing the resident cats peering in the window!

This is the perfect location if you want to feel remote and close to nature but conveniently close to the city and main roads. The house is bright and open with great views from the main living area (watching the sunsets through those big windows is a real treat). Arngunner's instructions made finding the property and getting settled in very easy.

We had a magical time at Sabrina’s cabin! Sabrina was incredibly helpful, kind, and responsive. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed as well as close to many sights. We saw the northern lights from the cabin our first night! Unforgettable :) Book it!!!

Really beautiful cabin in a perfect location. Good point to travel around the south from. Clean, very spacious and well laid out. Much bigger than I expected. Really good quality furniture and fittings. Lovely and warm at the end of a busy day exploring. Managed to watch a brilliant show of the northern lights from the decking. Would highly recommend.
