Our third stay and already looking forward to coming back! The house is always presented beautifully and is well equipped with everything you could possibly need! From bubblebath for the kids, nonslip bath mats, steps for kids to reach the sinks and an extremely well stocked kitchen! Tina was extremely friendly and responsive when we faced issues (out of hosts control) and was extremely understanding when our little one accidentally broke a placemat! Great house, beautiful view, beautiful warm hot tub and loved the couch upgrades!!!

A wonderful stay, the spa on the deck was particularly fun for our kids, and we loved the wood fire. Warm and cosy stay with beautiful views of the bay.

We loved Heidi's place. It was so relaxing, had fun with the animals and kyaked on the lake. Beautiful fresh eggs, produce and baked good at the shop. And ice cream! We highly recommend. Thanks Heidi and Herbert.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful and peaceful location. Ideal for a relaxing stay and exploring the Huon valley. Bruce provided helpful directions and turned on some lighting to help our arrival after dark. Would stay there again when back in the area.

Dee's place was very homely, it was very well stocked with the essentials and more. She went over and above and had breakfast supplies waiting for us on arrival, and plenty of local recommendations. A peaceful stay. We would happily return.

Such a beautiful beach and the house's location is perfect. It's a shame about the fish farms in the bay, but that's not Jim's fault. So good to find a place where all 9 of us plus the dog could stay, and it is well supplied with toys, kitchen equipment and so on. We had a great time and Jim was brilliant to deal with. Just be aware in advance that the phone signal isn't great.

Jenny was unfortunately taken to hospital and did not receive our booking for the Edge Apt. We called her as we did not receive the key code for access. Jenny gave us the code and then arranged for the cleaning to be done. We were not really inconvenienced greatly. Jenny was apologetic despite her unfortunate situation. Sincerely hope that Jenny is better soon. Thank you Jenny - we enjoyed our stay in your comfy spot by the river!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Huon Hoeve. Hosts Terese and Carl were so welcoming and generous. The cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and it was so nice to have been supplied with locally made bread, eggs freshly laid by the farm's chickens, and delicious home made jams. A great place to stay if you're looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful.

We rented this place for a family group visiting us for a weekend and they loved it.

I can sincerely say, even as a well seasoned traveller, that this is the most tranquil, peaceful and nice place I have ever stayed. It was a therapeutic experience, from the amazing quiet but colourful farm layout, beautiful dam, magical fireplace, produce shop. Heidi and Herbert have put alot of love, tons of effort into this home/property and if you're looking for extraordinary peace and respite, this is your place. It has country charm and splendorous plants, many places to wander around and enjoy. Heidi and Herbert are excellent hosts, always friendly and approachable, but willing to co-exist quietly if you prefer. The produce shop was a hit with cakes, breads, ice creams, jams, eggs etc.. all spray free, well priced and delicious. Franklin is very close with a scenic views, the river and a very charming village with Markets and cafes. Overall an amazing experience I would stay again in a heartbeat. I really enjoyed this stay, thanks so much Heidi and Herbert.

Lovely hobby farm and location. We used Gary’s place as a central spot to go to Hartz Mountain, caves and south coast walks. Very basic kitchen but adequate to make simple meals at an end of a day’s walking. Lovely kitchen garden and apple trees. Gary let us have some very fresh apples straight from his trees

Ben’s place in Deep Bay is wonderful, the location is truly stunning. We stayed there for three nights for a family reunion and loved it. Some of the elder family members did have a few issues, such as Ben lives on site and came into his office at 10:30pm, shining a light into the bedroom. There are a few little quirks such as no coffee, sugar, or oil, and an oven that doesn’t fit a lot of the dishes available, but it was still a wonderful stay.

We had a fantastic stay in Dover. Tina's cottage was clean and spacious with fantastic views. The property is ideally located for day trips to Hastings Caves and Tahune skywalk. An added bonus is the short walk to the local RSL for great food and water views.
