We had a wonderful stay at Misty Ridge. Kim is an amazing host and has stocked the cabin with everything and anything you could need for your stay. The wildlife and views were a highlight for us and the property is incredible peaceful. We are looking forward to visiting again one day.

A beautiful cottage was near as a pin and had everything we needed. The homemade bread, dips and condiments were completely unexpected but delicious. Highly recommend the location, accommodation and host if you are visiting the Huon Valley.

Rust Cottage -Quirky with a whole lot of comfort

Rust Cottage was so amazing! Donna and Bryan were friendly and generous hosts. The cottage was just like the photos with everything we needed. Comfy, cosy bed and furniture and lovely local produce. The garden was a gorgeous place for an early morning tea and a afternoon wine. Cygnet is a lovely quaint town. Highly recommend.

Botanists Hill - Elegant cottage, majestic views

We had such a lovely time at The Botanist. The cottage is beautifully decorated with so much character, from the unique art pieces to the cosy fireplace that makes the whole space feel warm and inviting. It really feels like a place made with care. The views are stunning no matter where you look. Out front, you can see the bay in the distance, and from the back, the hills often sit under a soft layer of fog. It all adds to the peaceful and magical feel of the place. The garden is also a delight, especially if you are into plants, with all sorts of herbs and greenery to admire. Janine, our host, was incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed. She even stocked the pantry with some essentials, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Everything about the stay was smooth, from the communication to the little details around the cottage. It is the kind of place that stays with you. Highly recommend to anyone needing a bit of calm and beauty.

I can sincerely say, even as a well seasoned traveller, that this is the most tranquil, peaceful and nice place I have ever stayed. It was a therapeutic experience, from the amazing quiet but colourful farm layout, beautiful dam, magical fireplace, produce shop. Heidi and Herbert have put alot of love, tons of effort into this home/property and if you're looking for extraordinary peace and respite, this is your place. It has country charm and splendorous plants, many places to wander around and enjoy. Heidi and Herbert are excellent hosts, always friendly and approachable, but willing to co-exist quietly if you prefer. The produce shop was a hit with cakes, breads, ice creams, jams, eggs etc.. all spray free, well priced and delicious. Franklin is very close with a scenic views, the river and a very charming village with Markets and cafes. Overall an amazing experience I would stay again in a heartbeat. I really enjoyed this stay, thanks so much Heidi and Herbert.

The property was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hosts were responsive. There was a small issue with a leaking tap but we managed to resolve it relatively quickly. The location is excellent for anyone who wants easy access to Huonville and Ranelagh. I would stay again.

We had a beautiful stay at Surveyors Bay! The house is in an ideal location close to the beach and felt nice and private. Having fresh bread, jam and some milk and butter upon arrival was a lovely touch and made us feel right at home. Sitting having a coffee from the coffee machine in the morning overlooking the view was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay!

A fabulous climax to our 10 days in Tassie. Even with strong winds on the first day we were snug in this most private elegantly appointed ‘Boathouse’ with a 270 degree view of the bay through beautiful woodland. There was fresh bread and champagne for our arrival and a variety of pillow types for the bed, which was much appreciated. I saw from the guest book that there are regular visitors who come back every year - it’s no wonder and we hope to be back ourselves.

This cottage was stunning with a beautiful uninterrupted view of the water and access to the beach. It is so comfortable, quiet with lovely touches in decor and furnishings. The garden is full of flowers and safe for our puppy who also enjoyed her stay running on the beach and exploring the little garden. We will definitely revisit this tranquil property in the future.

Our stay was excellent. Every detail is carefully thought out, from an up-to-date guide book of 50 walks in Tasmania to a ready to use picnic backpack to eco laundry detergent sheets for the clothes washer. The kitchen has all the right tools and is well stocked with spices. Upon arrival there was the most delicious (and beautiful) mezze platter + other goodies waiting for us, from the host’s nearby cafe, Cinnamon & Cherry. We then had breakfast there, it was TASTY! The space is immaculately clean + super functional. We would 100% stay here again. Thank you Marcus & family for a great experience.

Little Roaring Beach is such a peaceful spot and the shack is perfect for relaxing. Very comfortable with a great feel. This was our second stay and loved coming back to the shack. Thank you for having us!
