House vacation rentals in Huntsville

We had 12 women traveling together and the house was perfect. Most importantly, we never ran out of cool air or hot water ! Some of us even had our own bed. The house was very spacious and comfortable. It is about 35 minutes from Guntersville Al , out in the country. Super peaceful. If you arrive after dark I would caution you to pay attention to the GPS as there are a couple of switchbacks on the main road leading to the house. Would definitely book another stay.

Gary and his wife are amazing people! Super warm and friendly. Brought us fresh eggs from their chickens. The home is beautiful in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood. While we were there we experienced a tornado warning and some tree damage in the area. We lost power for 2 days, but the weather was beautiful after it passed and we stayed at the home. Gary offered to put us up in a hotel, but we really just wanted to stay. He offered a generator, which we didn’t need. This home truly is a sanctuary in the mountains and 10 minutes from downtown. Perfect location. We will definitely be staying there anytime we are visiting family in Huntsville! Thank you so much Gary and Tammy!

Julia was such a great host! The home was nice and cozy. Nice neighborhood .We loved relaxing on the big comfy couch. We only used one room, but that bed was great. Nice to have a fenced in back yard for our dog. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful spot with a great view and close to everything! The pool was such an awesome addition to the lake being across the street. The house is just like the photos as well! Plenty of space had everything we needed and more! Would love to book again!

Annette’s beautiful home in Athens, AL is filled with southern charm and a very homey feel. The front porch is lovely to drink your morning coffee on and wave at the lovely neighbors as they walk by with their pets or on their way to or from work. The pool was just right for a cool dip and even though it rained almost our whole stay, it did not detour us from having a great time. Annette was a wonderful host with plenty of suggestions of places to eat or things to do. Our favorite places in town were The Old Bear Brewery and the Broken Paintbrush. The location was great for a day trip to Huntsville and Sheffield (the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio tour was so good). Overall we loved our stay and will absolutely recommend this place in the future! We traveled from VA and arrived early the host was great about eating recommendations and allowing us to check in early! Everything was exactly how the pictures looked and all of the appliances worked. The washer and dryer are for very small loads which is in her description. The toaster oven is right below the fire alarm so you have to cook everything on a low temperature or it will go off so be careful. It’s very private and peaceful. The location is really nice everything you need is only 10 mins away. Over all very clean, very nice people, easy process, would recommend and come here again.

Great location if you want serene and beautiful surroundings, while only being minutes from downtown. Great for families.

We spent our anniversary at Smooth as Glass and left wondering if Julia is secretly an Airbnb fairy godmother. The home was peaceful, beautifully decorated, and that huge bathtub? Let’s just say it turned our bubble bath into a full-on spa date. Julia’s attention to detail made everything feel extra special, and don’t even get me started on the breakfast—still dreaming about it. We laughed, relaxed, soaked, and ate like royalty. It was the kind of getaway that makes you fall in love all over again. Already planning round two!
