I really enjoyed this two day stop with my family. We were in transit home and decided to stay here last minute. We were pleasantly surprised that we could go to Alexander and what a gem of a location! The apartment was spotless, communication was very good and the use of the pool and sauna (which was included) was very nice! In short, a wonderful stay and definitely recommended. As soon as we are passing through again, we would like to stay in the apartment again.

Large modern apartment in a building next to Mercure hotel in residential suburb by the airport, but plenty of parking, very quiet and spacious surroundings, close to local supermarket etc. plenty of space for 6 and well equipped kitchenette, table, good bathroom, nice balcony. Perfect for night after our flight for our family of 6. I received no instructions, but saw on the original listing that it said check in at the hotel reception, and that was very easy, they manage the apartments and found us on the computer.

Beautiful house on the banks of the Rhine, the view and garden are extraordinary. The interior is spacious, comfortable and decorated with Tom's original and tasteful taste. Beautiful surprises like the presence of birds and fish lovingly raised by Tom. We highly recommend this stay which is really worth a detour for itself. Finally, Tom and Silvio are extremely friendly and welcoming.

It was a great stay. Close to public transport shopping mall and etc. Great view from the room. Totally worth it.

We had a mishap with our Airbnb and had to book a place last minute, and Axel’s Airbnb was everything we needed. Axel was warm and friendly and even offered to drop us off at the airport early in the morning, as well as provided pastries and coffee for breakfast. Beds were comfortable and room was large and spacious.

Stayed for 2 days to relax while on a long trip. Place was clean and gorgeous, tastefully decorated and with good public transport to the beautiful city of Basel. Would recommend!

Monique is super friendly and welcoming. It is always available during the stay. We were a group of 10, four adults and six children and there was plenty of room. Everyone felt good. Thanks again to Monique for his availability and smile. We would highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time with Diana and her warm family in picturesque Riehen. If you are looking for a charming accommodation away from the typical hotel season, you will surely feel comfortable in this old city villa. Surrounded by contemporary art, a grand piano in the living room, a fabulous breakfast in the morning, and love conversations – truly a place to stay. A tip-top address not far from downtown Basel!

Very good stay, in a spacious house and more than well equipped and comfortable. Very welcoming and considerate host. The view from the house, of the village below is beautiful and the garden in the back must be very pleasant in summer. In December, we enjoyed a beautiful interior and outdoor Christmas decoration. A little extra: dogfriendly home! We will definitely be back
