Hohenstein is not a transit point and is very quiet at an altitude of about 360 m. The nearest EK stores are 3.5 km away. Hohenstein Castle (over 800 years old, 150 meters away) offers six weeks of castle festivals in summer and is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm. Three beautiful golf courses are about 25 minutes away. The hiking trails "Rheinsteig," "Burgensteig," "Wispertal" and the "Rheingau-Riesling-Route" can be reached quickly. Guests with bicycles get their money's worth. E-bikes would be great.

Make the apartment the starting point of your excursions. Visit Idstein (11 km) with its old town with a witch's tower and castle. Visit Limburg (19 km) with the old town, cathedral and the Lahn. Wiesbaden (27 km) with Neroberg with high ropes course. Drive to the Saalburg or the Hessenpark or visit the Opel Zoo. Rüdesheim am Rhein. Visit the Treetop Trail (new) in Bad Camberg. In Bad Camberg there are several rehabilitation centers. Visitors are very welcome.

Diez apartment 50 sqm Lahntal with city view

Very nice bright 2 room apartment with separate kitchen and bathroom. They live on 50sqm in the attic directly on the Lahnwanderweg. You look over the city of Diez. You sleep on a 160x200cm bed. Parking in front of the house (or in the yard) at no cost. In a few minutes you can reach shopping center, baker, butcher etc. 10 minutes from the Diez inner and old town and the Lahn. Limburg is 10 - 15 minutes away. There is a cathedral and also a historic old town.

Holiday flat in the peaceful Taunus countryside.

Our well-equipped self-catering holiday flat is in Langhecke, and looks over the valley which leads down to the Lahn river in Aumenau. The flat is ideal as a basis for trecking trips, canoe trips on the Lahn, (motor)bike tours or trail riding (ask us about keeping your horses nearby!). The apartment overlooking the Große Feldberg (Taunus) is quietly located and invites you to hike or excursions to the nearby cities of Frankfurt/Main (35 km), Wiesbaden (30 km) or Limburg (35 km). The half-timbered town of Idstein i.Ts. (10 km) or the spa town of Königstein (14 km) are easily accessible by public transport. The 2-room apartment is best suited for 2 people, but can also accommodate a family with 2 (smaller) children or 3 adults.
