Anneke's place is very cozy and big enough for a family. She is very welcoming and always there when you need her. The area is beautiful and peaceful. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful break from everyday life in Rogier's cottage! Rogier welcomed us in a very friendly way at the jetty and patiently explained to us “landlubbers” the handling of the boat and a few special features in the house. We found everything very clean and tidy and felt super comfortable right away. The vacation home is really special! Rogier built it himself and you can tell how much love and passion he put into this project. I can only recommend a stay there, especially for families with older children: sunbathing in the garden and on the terrace, swimming in the lake, arriving by boat or canoeing gave us a lot of pleasure! Attractive bike paths lead to the center of Utrecht and we also made nice tours in the surrounding area. The only small criticism: the road is closer to the house than expected and sometimes traffic noise clouds the idyll in nature a little. We are still thrilled!

Very comfortable and very well-equipped accommodation, very well located in relation to Almere Poort station with quick and easy access to Amsterdam. Good for resting after a busy day in Amsterdam. I recommend it.

We had a short, very nice New Year's Eve stay with Gerard with great views of the fireworks over the water. The apartment is modern and beautifully decorated and has a large dining and living area. In particular, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Gerard responded quickly and helpfully to inquiries. Definitely recommended!

I needed a reasonably priced get away and a place outside the busy city to stay while I adventured around Amsterdam. A bus stop was right by the house that made transportation super easy. I felt at home every night I stayed during my two weeks in the Netherlands. The local area is beautiful and really gives you the full experience of day to day life. The restaurants near by were really delicious. I spent a lot of days just resting and relaxing in the home and it was far more spacious than I could have imagined. The location, the atmosphere, the space, and the town all made for the perfect first time experience in the Netherlands. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Super location. On the dyke, but in a quiet place. Car can be parked for free. Friendly host who responds quickly. And we were pleasantly surprised with a delicious treat waiting for us in the fridge!

Anne received us very well and responded very quickly to our messages. The accommodation is on a very peaceful street, close to restaurants and small shops if needed. A very pretty village with its beautiful little alleys. Breakfast is exceptional. Special note for orange juice, strawberry jam, and super creamy yogurt. One of the most beautiful places I’ve been to. Fantastic nature, close to the major cities Utrecht and Amsterdam, cca 30 minutes by car to either one. The apartment is on the roof of the building, surrounded by succulents and flowers. The view from the apartment is breathtaking. The nature park part of the lake is a must see. The staff is very helpful and friendly, we will be back for sure!

This property is located in a very quiet and comfortable neighborhood, about 20 minutes walk from the central station. The property is clean, very well organized, and the backyard, a typical Dutch housing type, is a great pleasure. Thank you, Jan!

The apartment was in a lovely setting by the water , loads to do around the area . Nice little bar just at the end of the road . Friendly locals around the area . Lovely place to watch the wildlife on the waterways . Apartment was clean and warm . We arrived late after our plane was delayed snd they waited late for us to arrive . Nothing was out the question . What a wonderfully spacious apartment. It was more spacious than it looked in the photos. In the evening very cozy with the stove on. All amenities were good. For us the perfect base for a few days of nature and city. We were there in summer winter but for other seasons also a really nice place to stay. Thank you!

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

We had a lovely stay! The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, we immediately felt welcome. The cottage itself is beautiful, cozily furnished and the wood-burning stove provided extra atmosphere and warmth — perfect for a relaxing evening. The surroundings are magnificent, in the middle of nature, ideal for walks and unwind. At the same time, there is plenty to do nearby: nice villages, beautiful routes and activities for everyone. Definitely recommended, we will happy to come back!

We spent 4 nights over Easter in Rudi‘s cottage and throughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very bright and clean with a comfy bed. and sofa, a great shower and excellent lighting (this is something that I often miss in hotel rooms). The view from the terrace is outstanding. We were lucky with the weather and spent many hours there after cycling in the area or visiting nearby Utrecht. Rudi is a very friendly person, always smiling, giving us recommendations etc. Would re-visit anytime. Thank you, Rudi - also for the delicious welcome-cake!

Had a very nice stay. Good communication with Richard to enter the cottage (he was still on vacation himself). Very clean cottage with all the comforts. Beautiful large garden with views and lots of tranquility. In the summer it seems wonderful to come back here. A double bed is on the landing and this space cannot be locked. With slightly older children, that is easy to do, but given the bed is on an open staircase, I do not recommend this for very young children. Or you have to sleep under a very sloping wall as parents. Underfloor heating was very pleasant. We had a great time in the area! Thank you Richard!

Just perfect for a change of scenery, a lovely tiny historic house, right at the old harbour and between two nice & clean beaches. You can watch the sea whatever you do during your stay - from the terrace, from the living room or even when cooking :) a great location - also to explore the surroundings by bike (two bikes are available). The kitchen equipment is rather simple, but we had all we needed. Joekie is a great host, very kind and responsive, the communication was easy and we felt ike home. A very nice place, highly recommended.

Astrid and Georg's house is in a great location right on the water. The house is super cozy and has enough space for 6 people. Especially the room under the roof is beautiful. The small village is quickly accessible and you only have to cross the street once and you are already at the IJsselmeer. We had a wonderful long weekend at Astrid and Georg's house.

My sister and I loved it. It was all the same as in the photos. Even better. Right on the water and you had your peace. The view was really heavenly and we were able to relax very well. I'd love to come back.

The house is very well located, you can quickly walk everywhere. The location is really perfect, parking right by the house, nice terrace, small sunbathing area. For 6 "tall" people it is a bit small. One of the rooms is quite narrow, ideal for smaller children, a little too cramped from the teenager. There were four of us, including our 2 (rather large) dogs and we felt comfortable. Very good for us in terms of size. Petra is an incredibly nice, caring host. She always strives to make the stay as beautiful as possible for her guests. We will be happy to come back.
