The best host you can find, is on a country side of the town you have great mountain views, but very close to restaurants and activities you can do. You can totally rely on Carmen’s advice if you are unsure what to do. We arrived as a last minute guest, but she arranged everything for us with recommendations, restaurants, and local tour guides for our activities. Totally worth it if you look for a place with a cozy feeling and relaxing atmosphere.

We loved Carlos place! Everything was so peaceful and private . Staffs was so responsive to all of our messages (both prior to and during our stay) providing us with helpful information for our arrival, checkin and stay. The AirBnB has excellent amenities also the restaurant was great. Food was very delicious. I will definitely come again.

Carlos fue un excelente anfitrión. desde antes de mi llegada estuvo pendiente y dándome recomendaciones y ubicaciones claras. el alojamiento tiene un ambiente familiar excelente, unas vistas impresionantes a la naturaleza. super recomendado para salir de la rutina y pasar muy buenos momentos.

El Anfitrión un 100 muy amable y nos dio soluciones y recomendó lugares para visitar y restaurantes los cuales estaban muy bien la habitación también muy bonita acogedora así como en las fotos. Alguna recomendación que les daría sería un ventilador y una mini refrigeradora. Solo como una sugerencia. De lo de más estaba muy bien todo Gracias don Luis Pedro por ser muy amable.

Nous avons passé un bon moment chez Francisco. La chambre est simple et propre et il y a assez de couvertures pour ne pas avoir froid ! Elle est située dans d'un petit parc avec des lamas et alpagas qui accueille quelques visiteurs en journée. Nous avons été accueillis au sein de la maison familiale pour le petit déjeuner et le dîner (bons et copieux) pour 30Q par personne et par repas. Bien que la famille ait mangé avant nous, celle-ci s'est montrée très attentive à nous et nous avons pu échanger avec Raúl, le frère de Francisco. Ce fut un moment agréable et authentique, tout en simplicité.

Un lugar increíble, con clima insuperable, hermosas vistas y áreas de recorrido, es un lugar aislado pero accesible y con todas las comodidades (alimentación, bebidas, amenidades). El staff súper atento desde el inicio hasta el final, el servicio y amabilidad es una de las mejores características del lugar. Excelente estadía!

Uno de los mejores Airbnb en que estuvo! Pasé una noche con un amigo y nos hemos sentido como a casa. Maria Eugenia y su marido son personas super amables y generosas y nos han hecho sentir muy agusto. Además el lugar es muy acogedor y la posición es perfecta, cerca del terminal de bus y cerca del centro. Muy recomendado!

it was a beautiful place to stay in. finding it was a bit difficult but we found it. Tomas was a very nice guardian and he took his time to show us the house. if you're coming to see the market this is the perfect place to stay at. The market was about 3 minutes walking. the parking is a little tricky if you decide not to pay for parking but it's definitely doable.

Large downstairs apartment, had everything you could ask for. Close enough to walk to the center, and La Tora. Well worth the price, would recommend and return for short or longer stays.

Simplemente espectacular!!! Quedarse en un nivel 11 con vista a la Ciudad de Quetzaltenango, algo que no se hace todos los días. El lugar impecable, tal cual las fotos y mucho mejor. Súper, súper bien equipado, definitivamente es un 10/10 sin duda. No hay duda para tomarlo, además la ubicación, es un edificio nuevo y el apartamento tiene mucho empeño y dedicación. No dudo para nada en lo absoluto en recomendarlo.

Beautiful cabin in the woods! Fell in love with Xela a couple of years ago and try to come back a couple times of year. This Airbnb was gorgeous, well equipped, and centrally located. The city center is a short 10 minute drive, but the wooded surroundings make the city feel far away. Extra kudos for the cute black cat on the premises! Will be returning again.
