stayed here the night before my wedding and carrie was such a great host! she was so accommodating and the space was beautiful. there were so many little touches that made our stay amazing! would stay here again!

We booked last minute to stay for a night to attend an event nearby. While our stay was brief, it was super clean, comfortable, and just what we needed. Everything smelled fresh, and Kelly’s recommendations were helpful too.

We loved how quiet and peaceful the location was. We also loved the homey touches- the local books, the honor store out back, the fact that there was the cafe under the apartment. The setting was beautiful and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the brook and the spring peepers!

Our stay was wonderful!! There is not a tv in the studio which we LOVED! Everything was clean and bright and airy. Very peaceful. We stayed for a short trip for a wedding in town and it was an 8 min drive to downtown area which had so much to do! Would definitely stay again if we visit the area.

Michael & Sarah’s place is fantastic! Right on the lake with every amenity you could want (French press, dishwasher, home theatre, BBQ, and fire pit to name a few) The place was comfortable and clean, in an extremely tranquil location, perfect for coffee or wine looking out over the lake from the porch or dock. This home had all of the little touches that make for an extremely comfortable stay (like wood and fire starters at the fire pit). Michael and Sarah are very warm, friendly and welcoming - we would recommend this place to anyone we know visiting the area!

The Modena House was perfect for our trip. We wished we had the chance to enjoy the outdoor aspect a little more, however time and weather didn’t cooperate with us. The place is adorable, a great kitchen, nicely decorated sitting room, bathroom and bedroom made for a lovely stay. The hosts are top notch! We hope to stay again in the future if we are in the area. We spent three nights at Rich and Sheila's place and it was an amazing getaway. Our apartment was perfect-clean and comfy. We loved the proximity to the creek and the pool was a huge bonus! Rich and Sheila were both responsive and welcoming. We look forward to a return trip.

First Stavros was a stellar host. Proactive in communication and always responsive. Very attentive, we had one small interruption with the wifi that he promptly addressed before we even noticed! The house property is absolutely stunning and gorgeous, peaceful, spacious, very beautiful. The house has everything well stocked. Kitchen had plenty. I can't find one thing to comment that isn't positive. We all enjoyed ourselves to the max. The most enjoyable was the three walls full of windows that made the thunderstorms so beautiful to watch in the living room. The little stream in the back so pleasant to sit silently. We enjoyed the stylish decor, peace and quiet of the woods, comfortable beds, and proximity to the charming town of Woodstock, the Catskills, and Phoenicia Diner.

True to description - the house is located off a quiet road and surrounded by trees for a real feeling of privacy and seclusion. Everything was clean and well maintained. The view from the deck was spectacular and the sound of the babbling brook feeding into the lake right in view of the deck is amazingly calming.

Great little place in a great location! It’s an easy walk to all of downtown New Paltz, with the added bonus of a convenience store and local coffee shop just around the corner. The Empire State Trail is also just right across the street. The house itself is small, the perfect size for a couple. It is a unique and charming place, and well stocked with books and movies to keep you occupied. There’s also a few chargers hanging around in case you forgot yours at home. I wish it had a bigger bed, but that’s really my only complaint!

Excellent location with private pond. This home was truly built for a family gathering. Wonderful entertaining spaces, large fireplace with an expansive kitchen to cook in. There is a large game room with board games to suite all ages, billiards, croquet, and a small row boat for fun.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Wilderkill Barn. Maria Cristina and William were exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home was a haven, with a hot tub, sauna, pool, fire pit, pool table, and immersive sound and movie systems—all of which made our stay delightful despite the cold, dreary May weather. We can't thank them enough. ***That said, we feel it's necessary to address a serious issue with Airbnb itself that arose while booking this property, unrelated to the property itself. An unexpected tax was added after booking, and Airbnb has yet to provide a clear explanation. After years of loyalty, we were disappointed by their evasive and unhelpful customer support. This experience has made us reconsider using the platform in the future. We urge potential users to scrutinize all fees carefully and be aware that Airbnb’s support may be difficult to navigate if problems arise.***

A clean and minimalist place with a great view! I’d highly recommend for anyone looking to explore the Hudson valley. The location is within driving distance from several awesome towns and outdoor activities.

This is the perfect spot to stay and has everything you need to feel right at home. The beds are comfortable, linens are plush, kitchen is stocked. Dena spoiled us with the most delicious treats upon arrival and was so communicative, friendly, and helpful!

Apartment was clean including the bathroom, just as described by the listing. The place was very comfortable to stay at.

Extremely nice cabin, very recently renovated. The owner has a keen eye for organization, everything is neatly placed where it should be. Linens are clean, beds were super comfortable. Amazing stay, thank you Cathy

Caitlyn An excellent host quick to respond despite moving with her babies the same day as my trip! She was accommodating and provided a clear quick easy in from my late night travel. Her space is large and spacious with great set up lighting and comfortable and clean bedding. Loved the couch bedding set up! The entrance allowed ease to store the ski stuff so roomy keeping the living space free of the typical ski vacay clutter! The bathroom shower temp and pressure with soft towel and wash cloths provided with soap, and shampoo and conditioner gave a nice end of the day relax. Plenty of blankets for layering that may be needed. Kitchen appointed well with a good stove and oven easy to use and to easy prepare with pans and utensils for cooking, plenty of silver ware and plates glasses and plates that i truly appreciated. Couldn't use the ski in/ ski out as that lift was this late int eh season but how easy was it to scoot down in 2 min! Will be my stratton stay always onward!

The place was great, clean, nice bathrooms. The oven seemed like it wouldn't go up to temperature at one point so I messaged the host and they responded right away to get the maintenance folks over. But it turned out that it was just set to Celsius and I was able to look up how to change it online (Hold down the broil button!). There were PLENTY of towels/linens which was nice.

Just had a wonderful stay at Robert’s place! The place was impeccably clean, and Robert was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout our visit. While the manor has a charmingly vintage vibe and could use a bit of modernization, we truly enjoyed our time there. The warmth of the atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. We recommend for anyone looking for a cozy getaway!
