Guest access

Other things to note
Important Note for Starstruck Farm and Twig City Farm Guests: If you reserve one of my Tiny Houses, Horses Stall Suites, A-Frame Glampers, Tents, Teepees or Pitch-A-Tent Listings please stop and consider that you are reserving a listing located on a farm and in the country. It is not unusual to see an occasional insect or small Tennessee wildlife (including Stuart Little on very rare occasion) during your visit. If this is an issue for you or anyone in your party, please do not make a reservation. I am not able to provide a full or partial refund.

22. Respect your fellow guests. Loud, unruly, impaired/obnoxious guests will be escorted from the property without a refund.
23. Rain check dates for A-Frames: Due to the "nature of the beast" I cannot refund charges due to weather but depending on circumstances will be happy to provide a rain check unless you have checked in
24. Fair Reviews. Both host and Registered Guest agree to post fair-minded reviews related to the reservation and will not post vindictive, spiteful comments and misrepresentations.
25. Refund Policy. There are no refunds if a Guest cancels for any reason within 5 days of the reservation’s arrival date. In certain circumstances, at the Host’s complete discretion, a “rain check” will be issued to the Renter for an equivalent future stay based on availability. Favorite song in high school: Crossroads
Time marches on! One day you are a young "whippersnapper" and the next day you are a crotchety old geez! Anyway, I look forward to having the opportunity to host you in one of my places! Please come visit my Twig City Farm tiny houses or the one and only Horse Stall Suites at Starstruck Farm! I am a real estate investor, guitarist, song writer, patent holding inventor, homeopathic/natural medicine researcher, artist, designer, author, humorist, philosopher, pilot and self taught "chef". I opened my first "business" at age 6 making potholders and selling them to the neighbor ladies in Willow Branch, Indiana. I have always been self employed and engaged in "labors of love" in my ventures. I studied business law in high school and in recent years but I am not a lawyer. I have successfully represented myself in various court proceedings, as well as at the Tennessee Supreme Court of Appeals. I enjoy BBQ'ing, and a few shots of Gray's Peak Small Batch Meyer Lemon vodka once in awhile and have been known to smoke a stogie or two. (A stogie is a cigar for those of you from Delbert, Indiana or Somerset, KY.) I have 4 grown children and at least 11 grandkids and have been single since '99. I live on my "Twig City Farm" where I have several tiny houses for you to choose from. In 2019 I purchased Reba McEntire's former horse farm known as Starstruck Farm and have converted the horse stalls and barn into a Bed & Breakfast! My current projects include: 1. Working on Starstruck Farm. When complete it will be a beautiful 46 acre farm with pick your own fruits/veggies, bed and breakfast, entertainment, great food! 2. I am in the middle planning stages of FongLab. FongLab will be a small research and development campus that will perfect, patent, develop and market hundreds of concepts, ideas, inventions, treatments and products that I have worked on or envisioned over the years. 3. Planning and early development of my U.S. patent for the world's first "Vortex Racing League" facility. 4. Working on writing several books: The first is a booked titled "Beyond Flipping - The Power of Options". The second is a sci-fi efforts entitled "The Laughing Guy". The third is a true story account of my twelve year legal battle against multiple real estate sharks, entitled "David v. Goliaths". The fourth is another sci-fi effort entitled The Quell. Other than those and a few other projects, I am just a lazy bones. My Airbnb host philosophy about interactions with guests is "to give you space to enjoy your vacation, getaway or trip but at the same time be readily available if you need something!" Why do I have that philosophy? I am sure that you do not book my places to hang out with me but if you have an urge to "shake and howdy" please let me know, as I would love to meet you. My staff and I never intrude on your privacy and will not knock on your door unless there is some very good reason, if I am unable to contact you by phone, text or email. My helpers and I make every effort to leave you alone to enjoy yourselves. My life motto is, "Better to climb and fall than to never climb at all! One of my favorite thoughts is, "If you pick up a hammer, choose to cut diamonds." My advice to politicians is "Shut up and fix the potholes!" If you are not bored enough already........... Before you get discouraged with yourself or someone close to you in your life over “not finding your way” consider my life and think again. In my life I have been spared from death over 20 times and (in order): Before I was 21 I was a pot holder maker and salesman at age 7, an entrepreneur, poet, song writer, gas station attendant, janitor, painter, trash collector, farmer, custom hay bailer, assistant horse trainer, inventor, gas station attendant, athlete, artist, guitarist, singer, fence builder, carpenter, plumber, cheese hooper, baker & coffee cake decorator, waiter, cookware and stereo salesman, truck driver, heavy equipment operator, cook, restaurant owner and touring musician. In high school I was drawn to studying business law and took typing two years in a row. I was not a particularly good student because my mind was constantly wandering. School was boring. After turning 21 I continued being a musician and remained involved in many of previous activities, along with being a husband, father, employer, lyricist, male model, construction worker, demolition contractor, studio musician, sound & lighting technician, recording engineer and producer, record label owner, retail music store owner, sound reinforcement company owner/operator, flea market operator, race car driver, audio equipment designer, concert promoter, business manager, carpenter, handyman, plumber, process server, licensed pilot, aircraft designer, inventor, author, radio voice talent, foreign currency trader, law student, legal researcher/analyst, lawyer (as pronounced by the honorable C.K. Smith, Chancellor), doctor (delivered my 2 oldest children), holistic medicine researcher and formulator, real estate investor, real estate and business consultant, foreign currency trader, structural designer, corporate director of operations, residential and commercial real estate investor, landlord, BBQ sauce maker/marketer, Airbnb operator, event venue operator. I have written, recorded, produced and marketed 11 CD’s. I had or have record deals with Limerence Records, 700 West Records, Anazitisi Records and Cleopatra Records. I played in a band named Primevil in the early 70’s and our album “Smokin’ Bats at Campton’s” is highly prized by record collectors and a copy has sold for as much as $1500. I presently have 3 books in the works and have over 250 concepts, inventions and services in one form or another awaiting patent protection and marketing.
