We're a working small farm practising the principles of permaculture, Just over 30 minutes from London, come and experience offgrid living amongst wildlife, farm animals and ponds. If you wish to spend one night or more we have this restored 1950's caravan,with a unique interior offering two visitors a very special place for the night. We have a compost or flushing toilet with hot shower, all powered by solar energy, woodfire sauna as extra cost. Come and connect with yourself and mother nature.

Located in the rear garden of the owner's property, Bee's Place is a self-contained detached bungalow. Situated close to stunning Essex countryside yet just a 15 minute stroll into Chipping Ongar High Street with its supermarkets, coffee bars and the heritage steam railway . The location provides easy access to the M11, London, Epping Forest, Stansted Airport and the East coast. The wedding venues of Gaynes Park, Blake Hall, Down Hall and Mulberry House are all a short drive/taxi ride away.

A comfortable studio apartment set apart from the main house with off road parking right outside. Guests have their own front door, and there is a private deck looking out over neighbouring farmland . The studio has a private shower room, fresh towels and sheets are provided. There is a small kitchen area and dining table. It is very likely that we can arrange check in and check out times to suit us both, and we are happy to advise on the local area. Please ask!

Country Cottage with moat

Bacons Billabong is the annex of Bacons Farmhouse a Grade 2 listed building. It is a peaceful and quiet place nestled just outside the beautiful village of Ingatestone. If you are a rambler there are a many public footpaths that you can make the most of and if you are an avid bird watcher we have a host of large and small birds that call Bacons their home. It is a short walk to the station and the village whilst London is only 30 mins away via a fast train.

Self-contained 1 bed annexe in semi-rural location

Spacious, self contained accommodation in a peaceful location. This annexe offers lots of space, a fully equipped kitchen, a desk to work at and large wardrobes for storage. Parking for 1 vehicle, 2nd space available if requested prior to stay. It’s a 5 min drive from the Brentwood Centre & approx. 10 min drive to the High Street. There are local supermarkets, takeaways & restaurants within a 15 min walk away. There are some lovely walks on the door step

The Barn, beautiful rural retreat

The Barn is located within the grounds of our Grade 2 listed Cottage and yet is far enough away from the main house to allow our guests privacy. The property offers two luxurious double bedrooms and a modern bathroom with shower and bath. The light and spacious living / kitchen area is fully equipped with all appliances including a dishwasher and provides comfortable seating for all our guests. Guests will receive a welcome pack of goodies on arrival.

Enjoy a truly unique stay in this exclusive lodge. Situated on its own private lake, you will have everything you need to enjoy a blissful retreat with award winning country pubs such as The Dog & Pickle only a walk away. Please note: 1. We are strictly a minimum of two night stays. 2. We can only accept infants under 6 months old. 3. There is no swimming or paddle boarding allowed in the lake.

The Stables

The Stables is a spacious two bedroom cottage adjacent to our family home. We live down a private drive, off the main road in the middle of traditional English parkland. Whilst this is a new listing we have successfully let this cottage on a five star rating for the past 6 years. Only relisting due to a change in tax details. We look forward to welcoming you back.
