Vacation rentals with lake access in Homosassa

Fantastic place, clean and cozy. My daughter loved the dock and that there was a fishing pole for her to fish with.

Amazing waterfront property, great fishing, turtle & bird watching. The hosts Doug & Marcie welcomed us, gave us helpful tips and recommendations. The home is very well stocked & like the pictures. Cute decorating with lots of helpful things to make your trip easy. Kitchen is well supplied & organized. If you want a relaxing peaceful old Florida trip this is the place.

Amazing property! Had a blast with our crew of 6! Most of time spent fishing right in the back yard.

Great place to stay. We had lots of fun using the kayaks and paddle boards. The view of the river is awesome and relaxing while watching all the people tubing, kayaking, and boating up and down. The fire pit was great to make a fire at night. The kitchen had everything we needed and the entire home was very clean. The loft area stayed a little warm so my kids did not want to sleep up there. We had clean music playing on the dock, which people on the river seemed to enjoy too, but the neighbor gave us a dirty look and gesture - no issues otherwise. Overall a great place to spend a few days.

This is our second time staying at one of Elizabeth's rentals, and once again, she was an excellent host and a great communicator. The house had everything we needed, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.

Excellent house on a canal that leads to seven sister springs. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook multiple meals. We saw an alligator off the back dock our first day and lots of turtles and fish each day. The house is within close distance to lots of fun activities-we swam with manatees and floated the rainbow river while there. There are multiple kayak outfitters within walking distance of the house so if you do not like sit in kayaks you have very close rental options.

Such a peaceful and nice place to go for vacation. The house and property is absolutely beautiful. The only issue you could possibly have at this place is rude neighbors to the right that seem to watch you constantly but that comes with renting places with neighbors close by. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely plan to visit here again.

Cascade was a wonderful host. We felt right a home with the kitty cat's welcome and the chicken coop providing fresh eggs in the morning. Cascade was very accomodating and felt very comfortable in her quaint, funky accomodations.

We needed a place to stay befor moving abroad. The house was fully equipped for a longer stay. Kristen made sure everything was available from dish detergent to lots of towels and extra bedding. The neighborhood was quiet and it had a nice playground. Plenty of parking. The beds were comfortable. Kristen was always reachable. Everything was very clean.

We loved the place, it really is a house with 4 apartments. Ours is remodeled and modern. Well-equipped and spacious. It's worth it for a longer stay. A mini golf cart would be great to get around the complex. We highly recommend it. In this climate and near the water, fumigation is key.

Amazing stay there over the weekend. Had the pleasure to enjoy the backyard pool, fire pit and BBQ. It was very relaxing and the pond in the back with the sound of backyard Florida nature at night was very relaxing. Would for sure go again!

Amy was a wonderful host and always available if we needed her. She made us feel right at home. Will definitely stay again when we are down there visiting.

Rich's property is awesome and yes we did see the gator only once it did honor us with its presence, many restaurants and endless business to shop from went to the state fair and many other activties to do not to mention the beautiful weather, would greatly appreciate to stay at the this beautiful property when in this area. We had an amazing 3 days at Sally's place! The house was clean and comfortable and we especially loved the use of kayaks right off the dock. We saw manatees right off the dock two of the days that we were there! We kayaked upstream toward the state park and downstream toward Rogers park every day. Sally recommended bug spray and that is for sure important! We cooked out one night on the charcoal grill, but there are also great restaurants nearby. It's a quick trip to the main road with all the stores you'll need. Sally was very communicative and responded right away to any questions that I had. We would stay here again!

Cheryl was very nice, responsive, and her thorough instructions were very helpful. Most important to me, the house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utencils, and the bedding was very nice. We all had a lovely time fishing on the dock, kayking, and boating down the river. We explored Homosassa Springs, Rainbow Springs and several other Florida attractions. The whole family had a lot of fun!

The hosts were very quick and helpful. The house was beautiful, and the view was just perfect! My grandmother and mom stayed here from out of state. It was the perfect place to be able to spend family time. My grandmother said the bed was very comfortable and they felt right at home. Thank you again for such a great weekend!

We had such a wonderful time. The lake was gorgeous with all the birds, and perfect to sit relax and watch the sunset.

AMAZING. Great hosts, great place! I stayed here by myself and it was heaven on earth. I am a nature lover and this exceeded my expectations. The house & the property are stunning. The house is a lovely mix of tasteful tropical & Victorian decor. The outside is like being in the garden of Eden. So private & peaceful. I was able to meet manatees my first evening taking the kayak out; they were as interested in me as I was in them and came all around me and the baby came up to say hi. It was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had. It was just me and the manatees not another human in sight. The next morning I paddled out again and saw otters playing. I saw turtles, lizards, many beautiful birds, including green heron, great blue heron, and an owl. Coffee in the morning on the patio & a fire at night under the canopy of trees. Close to so much to do- springs, beach, nature parks, but by far the best was being able to paddle pretty much out the back door. I’m so glad I stayed here!!!

This was perfect for my best friends and I to have an awesome weekend reunion. I moved out of the area over a year ago and it was a perfect spot to spend time with those I love and miss the most. We had gone to the dam (recreation area less than a mile away) when we were kids and it was really neat to visit it again more than 20 years later. The beautiful view from the backyard was incredible and the sunsets looked more like paintings than pictures. Our gracious hosts were accommodating for my dogs, which was a necessity. The grill was in great shape, the beds were comfortable, and there’s a big tub in the master bathroom that the youngest child was ecstatic for. The tv met everyone’s needs and the WiFi was decent. If it’s available for our next reunion, then it will become a tradition. Thank you for lending us your home for this unforgettable weekend of gingerbread houses, fishing, Christmas movies, good music, and cooking great food with friends and family!

We had a relaxing month at William's home. It is comfortable and cozy with everything we needed. We loved the lakeside view and getting out in the canoe. Plenty of comfortable seating for inside the house and on the outside patio. The beds were very comfortable. The yard is big and in a quiet neighborhood. Met friendly neighbors. Saw a lot of wildlife-birds, some gators, fish. Sunsets over the lake were beautiful. Had fun discovering shopping in nearby Dunnellon. William was a great host-easy to reach and always kind and helpful. We plan to reserve again!

Enjoyed the stay, the wildlife, and seeing the sandhill cranes every morning and evening was a plus.
