Japanese Tatami Room, close to the sea

Mary AnneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay, we were greeted and picked up at the train station and enjoyed two days of rest and beautiful walks. This is a very unique place to stay on a small fishing village. We ordered dinners and Received breakfasts as well. The meals were beautifully presented and tasted even better! This was a wonderful rest in between two weeks of busy sightseeing, highly recommended!

Kominka Guest House Kurayoshi, a renovated 105-year-old traditional house

JoannaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Thank u Yamane-san for this wonderful stay! I was initially concerned since the house was a bit far from the station and I was traveling solo. However, Yamane-san’s warm welcome immediately put all my worries at ease! Even though I arrived in Kurayoshi at 10 PM that day, he was kind enough to accommodate my arrival time and drove to the station to pick me up and take me to the house The house is quite a traditional Japanese house, except the bathrooms are more modern style (that's an advantage lol). However, for an Asian, the Japanese dolls in the bedroom were somehow eerie (probably bc of Japanese horror films). But if u r fond of Japanese traditional culture and don't mind this, the bedroom is a perfect fit for u. When the weather is on the colder side (I’d say when the high is below 15°C), the bedroom will need more heaters. Advice-might be helpful to include some photos of the bedroom so guests know what to expect (the rooms are beautiful) Looking forward to the next stay :D

Beautiful countryside Artist house

The most heartwarming, loving Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Toshi and Taeka are really special people and their home is one of a kind. Very grateful to have stayed here and met them. ❤️
A serene courtyard is enclosed by the home, featuring large windows that provide natural light to the adjoining indoor spaces. A mix of gravel and stone pathways is complemented by minimalistic landscaping, including plants and decorative boulders.

Family Lodge ~Tsutsuji~ A family's peaceful home

EricRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The house is exactly the same as shown in the pictures which is clean and tidy. Plenty of space for family with children. All necessities are provided which makes your daily life easier. The patio is also the best place to feel the environment! Highly recommended and will definitely come again in my next trip to Yonago!
A covered wooden deck extends from the building, offering a sheltered space. The surface is made of planks, while a mix of gravel and pavement is visible nearby. The view includes a rain-soaked street, with trees and houses in the distance.

A sky full of stars! Gallery inoue, a pet friendly inn in Mimasaka, Okayama prefecture (no smoking inside)

TomofumiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It was a very quiet place and the starry sky was beautiful. It is also a place to visit during the cherry blossom season and autumn foliage season. The kitchen and table were also spacious, and I had a pleasant time cooking dinner.
A spacious kitchen counter features three modern bar stools with woven seats. A light fixture illuminates the area, while a large window provides natural light. The counter overlooks a well-equipped kitchen, enhancing the communal dining experience.

A retro and cute private guest house close to Yonago Station

知秀Rating, 5 stars2 months ago
I stayed for two nights, but the host was very polite and comfortable. It was used during the cold season, and it was very helpful that they left an additional heater. This time, it was good because it was a private car visit, but I felt that it might be a little difficult to get to without a car. But I wasn't dissatisfied with the overall rating.
The bathroom features a spacious soaking tub set against a backdrop of wood paneling. Subtle lighting highlights the unique bamboo floor, while shower fixtures are mounted nearby. A green basin adds a pop of color to the calming atmosphere of this chic space.
