A huge thanks for this wonderful stay ! The house was amazingly beautiful and the host was super generous ! Not only did he took us at the station and to the restaurant : he advised us on the hike we wanted to do and drove us to the starting point of our hike ! An amazing getaway in the countryside : a lot to discover around (Kurayoshi, Mount Mitoku, Tottori…) couldn’t recommend more !
A wooden sliding door is featured prominently within a traditional room, its smooth surface adding a serene touch. Next to it, a plush blue sofa is positioned against the wall, complementing the warm tones of the room. A small, dark wooden table sits in front of the sofa.

Tokami House

ArthurRating, 5 stars1 week ago
When entered the place all of our group of 7 people were amazed. The house was huuuuge!! It took some time to explore every single room, where each had its unique vibe. All of us were wishing to stay here a couple of nights, since place and the area offers everything we needed. The place had wide rooms with sofas, chairs tatami mats so we could actually have drinks and have great talks with our large group. Each of us got his huge private room, where each room offered some unique experience- books, guitars, vinyl music player, board games, TV, Japanese old style room and much more. This place exceeded all our expectations, and if will come to Matsue again, will definitely stay there more nights . Thank you Daniel for great hospitality!
A traditional Japanese lantern stands on the floor, showcasing an intricate design of floral patterns against a soft light. The lantern's materials combine fabric and wire, creating a unique shape that enhances the room's ambiance. The tatami mat provides a natural base beneath.

The space was wonderful and 5mins from the airport! The hosts were so thoughtful, they had children toys and amenities put and ready for us.
The panoramic view showcases snow-capped mountains under a clear blue sky, framed by vibrant autumn foliage in warm hues. The contrast between the crisp white peaks and the colorful trees creates a serene natural landscape.

Live like a small house by the sea in a quiet seaside uminoie Mousska

NongporncRating, 5 starstoday
We truly enjoyed our stay here! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. It felt just like home. The beach is right across the street, and the host’s café behind the house is absolutely charming (open Fri–Sun). We wish it had been open during our stay! The area is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing with family. There are several cute cafes and local restaurants nearby, though most close around 5 PM. One special thing was teaching our kids how to sort waste the Japanese way — such a meaningful experience! The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel like we were visiting family. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a warm, peaceful stay with a personal touch. We’d love to come back again!

6 minutes walk from Matsue Station!

I.MRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It is close to Matsue Station and there are many restaurants nearby.I also booked this because the owner is doing 3 wine bars next door. The results are very correct. I stayed from Friday night, so first of all, I left my luggage at the inn and went to a delicious restaurant with food in the neighborhood that I was told about in advance! After that, we went to the wine bar with the owner, where we had a glass of wine and talked about the next day's sightseeing spots and delicious shops. The accommodation is clean and comfortably furnished. Kitchen and washing machine (it's nice that the dryer is gas-operated, it dries quickly!)There were also facilities, and the cushions on the bed were good, and it was comfortable like home. The location of the inn was convenient for sightseeing, eating and drinking, and it was also good that the owner gave me local information that I didn't know online. I'd love to stay again when I visit Matsue.
