Since 1844, the Brömmer family has been running it with passion, love of animals and hospitality. Three great vacation homes with six apartments, sauna, swimming pond and play barn for children invite you to relax. Whether as a couple, family or with friends – here you will find peace, nature and a real North Sea feeling.

Wattmuschel country house

Our historic property consists of a 120-year-old schoolhouse and an approx. 100-year-old town hall in the midst of untouched nature on a park-like property. In the old schoolhouse, the Alte Schule vacation home extends over 2 floors with a living space of approx. 140 square meters. In the annex of the old town hall is the guest wing with a wellness area on the first floor and the 2 apartments Samtmuschel (approx. 60 sqm) and Herzmuschel (approx. 50 sqm) on the second floor.

Dune castles right on the beach

The dune castle is right on the upper beach promenade on the beach of Wangerooge. Dining options, shops, and a beautiful golf course are within a few minutes' walk. Currently, our guests are required to clean the vacation rental themselves on the day of departure, which means that the €140 cleaning fee for our vacation rental is waived, and only the €45 cleaning fee for bedding and towels is charged under "Bedding fee" (information under "Additional rules").

This beautifully renovated home features five bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sauna, a modern open-plan kitchen, a cozy living area with fireplace, as well as a terrace and a large fenced garden. Ideal for families (including dogs) and friends who value quality, tranquility, and a special atmosphere. Fireworks and firecrackers are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.

It is reminiscent of a vacation in Sweden… to top off this flair, you can relax in the in-house sauna and forget the stress of everyday life. We live together with two dogs in a secluded location on the edge of a small forest. Ideal for cycling enthusiasts. From here you can start great tours through the Ammerland!
