In a Faluröd log cabin on a farm, you will have the opportunity to experience the best Dalarna can offer. In the heart of Siljansnäs you will find this small farm cottage with room for three people. The cottage was renovated 2023, the bathroom 2018. Within walking distance there is a kiosk and grocery store as well as a little further up the village there is a cafe, hotel and mini golf. 200 meters from the front door is Byrviken, an excellent swimming area. Within a 20 minute drive there is also Tegera Arena, Granberget's ski slope and cross-country skiing.

In Hjulbäck, you can walk along dirt roads among falurden houses. Picking blueberries, mushrooms, and lingonberries in the woods and strolling the shoreline, settling on a jetty, and enjoying the tranquility. The swimming area, the marina and the long dock you can reach in less than 5 minutes. The accommodation is divided into two buildings. You won't be disappointed!

The accommodation is a separate guest part of the house with own entrance. It consists of one bedroom with a double bed and one large living room with a bunk bed, kitchen area and seating area. The bathroom has a toilet, a shower and a washing machine. A large terrace facing the lake, with a seat under a pergola, and guests have their own disposal over the entire terrace. Possibility to borrow rowboat and life jackets. Towels and beds are not not, but are available to rent for SEK 150/set. Cleaning not included in the listing.

On the lower floor a very small kitchen as well as dining area with room for four and a fireplace. On the upper floor there are two walled single beds as well as a 140 cm wide sofa bed. It is about 5 km to Tällberg and 7 km to Leksand. There is space to park a car next to the shelter in the yard. Shower and toilet have a separate entrance downstairs. Cleaning is not included.

We spent five wonderful days in Elsa's home in Alvik – Leksand. What a nice place! The house has a charming, private style and it is clear that it is worked on with love – every time something is refurbished or renewed, which creates a cozy and well-groomed atmosphere. An absolute highlight was the beautiful veranda. Here we spent a lot of time, enjoying the beautiful views at sunrise and sunset. It was also great for the children: they were able to play football, play and jump on the trampoline. The area is very beautiful and there is plenty to do, especially for nature lovers and families with children. In the month of May, it is already very nice, but we noticed that towards the summer period, there are even more activities and opportunities to do with children. Had a lovely stay in a beautiful place. Thank you, Elsa!

The house is so pretty both exterior and interior and all the rooms are super clean. We can see the lake in distance without anything blocking the view. The area is so peaceful and we had a great walk along the lake. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Sunnanäng is a great place to stay. Close to Leksand, Tällberg or the waterland. At Karin and Joel's, you live undisturbed. Good parking. Netflix and Viaplay to entertain yourself with if you feel like it. Sheep walking in the pasture next door, cows grazing further away. Swimming area just minutes away. Very nice host couple.

Super location in a quiet and beautiful village. The cottage was clean, had all the accessories you could wish for and the host always responded quickly to my questions. It was easy to find the key and everything was as described. In addition, the veranda was perfect with incredible views of Alviken and Siljansnäs. Amazing experience in every way way!

We had a wonderful week at the cozy cabin! Everything was as stated and well equipped and we have not missed anything. Our daughter loved the built in bunk bed and barely wanted to leave it on the day. Just 5 minutes by car there is a very relaxed and family-friendly ski area, perfect for us who got to try skiing for the first time. Inger and Bengt are very nice and helpful. They also helped when we got stuck our car when it got too slippery on the hill up to the cabin. So nice! We are happy to come again!
