Vacation rentals with a kayak in Hispaniola

Villa Calma lived up to its name and our expectations! Truly calming space and accommodated our big group of 10. Nestled between two beaches, it was a short walk to both. Each bedroom includes a bathroom, the Property and Private pool was maintained daily. Our host was readily available and answered our questions. Linens, towels, washer/dryer were provided. We had a great time here, thank you!

We had a lovely time at Angelica’s place. We were a group of 10, and there was loads of space. It even looks better in person, which is always a positive thing! The neighbourhood was also safe, which was reassuring as newcomers to DR. Lastly, we greatly appreciated her responsiveness, as tourists who did not know much about where we were - it can be the difference between life or death. I highly recommend!

my stay at Anne's and Damian's, goes in to one of the best Airbnb experiences of all times :)... old school style stay, where people really share a space that is planned out for a traveller who is seeking a natural comfort and good energy. The reason I went to Las Galeras, is to be away from all-inclusive hotels and overpriced offerings of Puerto Rico :)... and I think I got lucky. The village, and area around, presents a great mix of beaches, hiking and civilized comfort... all of that is accessible by walking from Damian's place I could probably write a mini-guide :), but to make it useful for the next traveller, here my pros and cons: pro: - amazingly thought through living space, kitchen and territory!!!!! - kind, caring and interesting host - safe location and environment, perfect location i think cons (more like heads up that din't bother me): - music from the bars can be heard slightly - note that there is no air con ( i loved it :), but for some might be a problem) loved it

I really enjoyed my first visit to the DR at Alex’s place. The resort was great for families and people of all ages. It was quite large, but there were shuttles that ran regularly if you wanted to explore the grounds. VIP was okay- you will never get a buzz off the all inclusive alcohol lol so don’t go for the drinks! It is very close to the ocean and if you don’t mind all the harassment from the resort you can have a good time. They want you to buy, and in order to enjoy most of the real VIP treatment, you have to buy. I thought this place was great for families and if you are a smoker, it’s paradise. Smoking is allowed, but it is not overwhelming if you are a non-smoker because everything is in the open. I would come back for the overall value- the service was great for the most part, and I met lots of locals, Canadian and American tourists who made my stay more enjoyable. Alex was responsive to questions pretty quickly.

Anna was amazing. She responded to every text quickly and was really accommodating. The place was just like the pictures, it was perfect. It is a place to spend time with the family and you will have a lot of things walking distance including the beach. Love the place and the host was incredible.

Excelente anfitrión, siempre atento. La casa estaba mucho mejor de lo que se aprecia en fotos. la playa inigualable. El servicio o personal que está de apoyo en la casa hizo que aun fuera más placentera la estadia

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wow! My family and I spent a few unforgettable days at Villa Espinal in Vista Cana, and we cant wait to be back soon. The experience was absolutely perfect—from the private jacuzzi in our unit to the amazing amenities throughout the Vista Cana complex. We enjoyed the delicious onsite restaurant, relaxing at the beach, the stunning infinity pool with a bar, and so much more. It truly had something for everyone in the family. Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun getaway!

Excelente alojamiento, nos enviaron hasta vino de cortesía, es anfitriones. limpio, que se siente como un hogar, tiene muy buenos utensilios de cocina para las cocineras, el río aunque no nos pudimos bañar, se ve que en buen tiempo es cristalino y muy bueno para pasar una tarde de río. Todo estuvo excelente y volveremos a repetir. Gracias a los anfritiones.

El lugar es maravilloso, limpio, acogedor un excelente lugar para pasar en familia. La verdad es que nos encantó y pensamos volver, la casa está bien equipada y nos guardaron un regalito para disfrutar la verdad es que la pasamos muy bien en familia. Si buscas tranquilidad esta es la mejor opción.

Excelente, recomiendo el lugar en su totalidad, Osvaldo súper atento y amable. Espero volver muy pronto.
