Wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, rustic modern and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

This listing is for a room in Hotel Las Colinas. It’s on the outskirts of the town of Sabana de la Mar, about a 30-40 minute walk to the ferry and what might qualify as a town ‘center’. We really enjoyed our stay. Given its surroundings, the hotel is decent, if basic. Rooms are in good condition, the bed is comfy, there’s AC and a fan, staff are friendly, and it’s a good shower. Fine for the price. Keep in mind there’s no breakfast served though, you have to sort yourself out. The best reason to stay here is to take advantage of Los Haitises. In this regard, Kate and Misael can hook you up with many different great opportunities to explore the park. We were in touch with Kate, who was extremely friendly and communicative. Through her, we arranged a superb kayak and hiking day excursion with experienced local guide Jackson, and we loved it. A much better experience than being crammed in an enormous boatload of tourists. Through him, we also ate often at a good local restaurant, El Caney. Don’t expect luxurious surroundings staying here. Sabana is an impoverished fishing village. If you don’t have a car, be ready to do a lot of mototaxi trips to get around, quite an experience if you’ve not done it before. If you’re ready for a great adventure though, this is a good choice. Thanks to Kate, Jackson, and our excellent mototaxi driver Fernando we were well taken care of and really enjoyed our time in Sabana.

Ana and Danny's place is in a great part of Santo Domingo. It is very close to the airport and Ave Espana. We found a different restaurant every night and so many things to do close by. I would recommend their place and would book again for sure.

Excelente hotel y servicio. El staff es muy atento, mantienen los apartamentos súper limpios, la comida es buena y las instalaciones son cómodas. Disfrutamos mucho la playa, la cual está justo al frente. Definitivamente volveremos.

Great spot right on the beach!!! Pool was clean! Two restaurants nearby! Safe, gated parking! François was super quick to respond to any questions we had!! Would definitely stay here again :)

Villa Samira Sosua, excelente hospedaje, con ubicación estrategica para acceso a la playa y medios de transporte. Anfitriona super atenta, pendiente a los detalles y hospitalaria, que hace sentir como en casa. habitaciones impecables, piscina en óptimas condiciones y de gran tamaño, ideal para compartir en grupo. Muy grata experiencia, definitivamente un lugar donde volver.

Great place. Clean apartment. Friendly & helpful staff. Beautiful pool and beach.... bring aqua socks for the beach. Cristian was very helpful and responded quickly. Very satisfied. Farmacia/market near by has basic supplies. Restaurant Soya Azul down the road has great food.

Good place to stay if you want to walk around the center city. A bit noisy but understandable because its location. Very friendly staff

Convenient location and good place to stay. The staff at the counter was very nice and accommodating with us. It shows they want to do a good work. They have staff 24 hrs at the lobby which helped my friend get more drinks very late at night to continue drinking among other things he wanted. I do have to admit that I went with a coworker and he ran in to an issue late at night totally unrelated to this Airbnb. He don’t understands Spanish nor the local culture, but the staff help him with his problems. Next day I was able to talk to Carlos, Carlos is very attentive gentlemen and helped us solve everything and reach a resolution. Because of this I would definitely recommend this place to stay. Just make sure your friends are as well behave as yourself.

Nos encanto el apartamento! Está super centrico, a pocos metros de la entrada de la playa Juan Dolio. Estaba muy comodo y limpio. Los empleados de la torre fueron serviciales y amables. Lo unico que le agregaria para que fuera perfecto es un fregadero en el área de la mini-cocina. Todo lo demás genial!

We kregen dagelijks een met zorg gemaakt ontbijt. De hele plek was eigenlijk mooier en meer zorgvuldig verzorgd dan de foto's lieten blijken. De wifi had nog wat problemen maar dat was duidelijk aan de voorkant gecommuniceerd. Dit wordt opgelost binnen afzienbare tijd. Een fantastisch zwembad, een goed geoutilleerde keuken waar je daadwerkelijk zelf kunt koken. Zeker waar voor je geld. Raysa besteed veel aandacht aan de details. Je bent op loopafstand van Playa Bonita. Met een auto is het een perfecte rustige uitvalsbasis om de regio Las Terrenas te verkennen, weg van de drukke hoofdwegen.
