We absolutely loved our stay at the villa. It was even more beautiful than in the photos - clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed with great attention to detail. Everything felt fresh and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The communication with the host was super easy, and the team was incredibly responsive and flexible. We felt really safe the whole time, with someone present at the front gate 24/7. One day I lost my phone, and they went above and beyond to help us track it down in a nearby village - even taking us there on a scooter and another day showing us a stunning sunset. Moments like that really made the stay feel special. We couldn’t recommend this place more - it was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and the care from the hosts made all the difference. Would absolutely come back!

We’ve just come back from an amazing trip to Sri Lanka, and we stayed for 6 nights at Gaya’s wonderful home. We loved it; the location feels remote, but it’s only a 10min walk to the beach/restaurants etc. Every morning I’d wake up and have a coffee on the veranda, overlooking lush greenery, peacocks, cattle - not something you get in everyday life. The staff were very helpful, and the accommodation was comfortable, clean, and is a wonderful option if you’re looking for a self-catering home stay. A big thank you to Gaya for letting us stay, we hope to be back soon!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would do so. A beautiful villa (even better than expected as recently renovated) with a lovely pool. Nothing was too much trouble for Binara - he made us a special New Year breakfast, did our washing, helped my father in law with his sore knee and hooked us up with a local tuk tuk driver. Both Binara and Manu were super friendly and made us feel at home. We would highly recommend a stay here and were very sad to leave.

Asela is a great host!!! Very hospitable and friendly, always ready to help with all issues. We lived in the villa for a whole month. The house is always very clean, cleaning every few days. Convenient location of the house, just 10 minutes by tuktuk to the sea and all the establishments. We are very happy that we ended up here I highly recommend this villa, secluded accommodation surrounded by birds and beautiful nature Also really liked Asela's restaurant, one of the best we have visited! We really loved staying here. The house was spacious, nice big bedrooms and beds and the best feature was the pool looking straight onto a clean, empty, beautiful beach. We spent hours on the terrace and in the pool. Martin was always quick to respond and Mr. Sampath and the staff at the villa were always very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the Sri Lanka curry option on the menu was most enjoyable. I’d strongly recommend Villananda to anyone thinking of booking.

Want to keep this little gem just to myself!!!! This is by far the BEST Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Just perfect!!! Feels like someone lovingly designed and furnished this beautiful space for himself and then decided to rent it out. No detail spared, maximum comfort, beautiful inside with a gorgeous pool and garden outside. And the staff is the cherry on the cake. From the cook who comes with breakfast every morning, to the gardener and caretaker. And then there is Mr Bandulleh, the property manager, a retired Maths teacher. Felt like my two girls were being looked after by a grand father. Mr Bandulleh took every care to watch over us, make sure the Tuk tuks came on time and dropped us at the right place. One night during a heavy storm, he even offered to go out himself to get us dinner 🙏 this level of care is over and beyond. We did not want to leave Lavonra and will surely come back. Thank you once again for this most magical of stays.

Nice, quiet place to stay. The host is super nice and helpful. A little outside, but no problem with Pickme. The kitchen does not meet European standards. But you don't need it, as breakfast is offered. We would recommend eating out anyway. There are countless possibilities in Galle and surroundings. Secret tip: Koggalla Beach. Fantastically beautiful and empty. No risk of encountering tourists from a country that is currently rather unpopular in Europe.

Our stay was great all around. The only downside was the lack of blackout curtains and the slightly too firm pillows. Rohan, who came daily for cleaning, was incredibly friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable. A small suggestion for improvement: The sofa covers could be replaced. Otherwise, the outdoor area is spotless, just like in the photos, and the entire house was very clean.
