Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hicksville

This is the best air bnb experience I have ever had. The place itself was absolutely beautiful, curated thoughtfully, attention to detail, every comfort you could want and more. I was best man for a wedding, and this served as home base for the wedding party. They all also got air bnbs in NYC and it was just an onslaught on complaints - this air bnb was nothing but rave review. A big part of that was the host, Anthony. Anthony was extremely accomodating, responsive, generous, thoughtful, proactive - and kind. I am 100% going to be looking to stay here every time I come to NYC, I feel no desire to go anywhere else or even consider a hotel. If you're thinking about it, just do it - you will not regret it. 10/10!!!!

Victoria's place was wonderful! It was spacious and comfortable and gave our family plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our visit. Victoria was a very responsive host and made check in and check out stress free and easy! There was ample parking for our cars and the house was private - it was the "house behind the house" so we weren't subject to busy traffic noise on the street. (Got a little confusing for DoorDash drivers but we worked it out :D). I will book this same place next time I am up for an extended weekend with the family. Highly recommend!

This was our second time staying at this home, and just like the first time, everything was perfect. The place is exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It suits my family, who visit me every year from abroad, perfectly. The location is convenient, the neighborhood is quiet, and the hosts are absolutely lovely—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. We truly feel at home here and will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

We had a great time in David and Claires beautiful house in Bellport. Such a nice place and perfekt location for daily trips by the coast with stops on the way out to the Hamptons. Or a daytrip to the city, close enough. Nice and quiet location, the house is very cosy and a lot of space for a bigger family or perfect for family reunion. We loved the ping pong table and other activitites as the pool, jacuzzi and the outdoors. If the weather had been better we would have used the facilities outside more for sure. We would love to come back to the house again. David and Claire are excellent hosts, very helpful and quick at responding.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay! Location is perfect and Jaime was incredibly friendly throughout!! He let me know that they had everything we would need.. but as a self-described obsessive packer I didnt listen. He wasn't kiding! They had beach chairs, umbrellas, and everything else you need for the perfect beach day. I brought an entire wagon of stuff and used one bag. It really is an awesome little find!!

A Perfect Long Island Getaway! I had an incredible stay at this beautiful Long Island home. The property is truly stunning—it is nestled on a large pond with its own private waterfront and dockage. The views and relaxing atmosphere can't be put into words. We sipped our coffee by the water in the morning and really enjoyed the sunset from the deck. It truly felt like a retreat! The house itself is immaculate and thoughtfully stocked with the important amenities. From a fully equipped kitchen to comfortable beds and stylish decor, it’s clear the owner put great care into making sure guests feel right at home. The location is amazing--secluded enough to enjoy nature and privacy, but still close to everything you might want to explore. Whether you're into boating, relaxing, or just soaking up beautiful surroundings, we were pleasantly surprised at all there was to offer. The host Joe was responsive and made the whole process seamless. We miss it already and can't wait to go back!

We absolutely loved the living environment there. It was incredibly quiet, providing the perfect peaceful retreat. The landlord went above and beyond by sending us over 20 detailed instructions in advance, explaining how to use every facility in the apartment. From start to finish, everything was meticulously arranged. We were all extremely satisfied with this stay

Clean, spacious, private basement apartment with some natural light. Very comfortable bed. Lovely backyard. Quiet, green residential neighborhood. Within 10 minute driving distance from Port Jefferson town center.

We had a terrific experience with Robert's apartment. The hosts were flexible, informative, and responsive. The unit was extremely clean and well appointed with little touches that we appreciated. It is in a quiet part of downtown with walkable access to the waterfront, good coffee, and excellent restaurants. If you have a reason to be in the Yonkers region I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

The Captain’s Cottage was just what we expected! We stayed several weeks. It was surprisingly private given how popular the farm and store are. We would definitely stay again.

Bobby was great! Very friendly and responsive. He lives downstairs so that was nice to know that he was there if we needed anything. The location was great. Very close to the beach & boardwalk which were both very clean and felt safe. Very close to grocery store, restaurants, etc. There is a large flight of stairs to climb when you get into the unit, which was fine for us but would be difficult for anyone with a stroller or physical disability. We would definitely stay again though and had a great time. Thank you, Bobby!

Great place to stay, conveniently located with a bus stop outside and a 15 minute walk to the subway failing that. We used it as a base for Manhattan exploring and it was ideal, though a little far to be coming back and forth within the day.

We were in town for a concert in Red Bank and the cabin met our needs perfectly. Ideal accommodations for two people and we were able to bring our dog along. An easy stay in a very comfortable setting.

We enjoyed our stay! Such easy access to the beach was so convenient. You’re definitely better off venturing out after high tide to enjoy the most amount of beach and there are a lot of shells that make being barefoot challenging. We did arrive after major storms which could have contributed to that. The house was spotless with everything you need to be comfortable! We did not utilize the outdoor space but definitely would have if the weather was drier! Definitely would stay here again.

We had a great stay at Bill and Lois’ place! Their neighborhood is so peaceful and we were glad we had time to take a walk while we were in town because it was really lovely. The place itself was very comfortable and had so many great amenities (laundry, parking, etc.). The bed was incredibly comfortable and it was so kind of them to provide breakfast. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this spot!

This place is fantastic. We needed a place while we renovate our home. The staff is fantastic, the apartments really nice and spacious. Amenities are great too. Commute is super easy to Manhattan …walk to express bus and less than 30 min. Highly recommend.

Amazing location and piece area everything is good

Rob’s place is very comfy with all the little things you could wish for. He even left snacks. The downstairs apartment is very private. His description was very accurate, with a mild smell of mold that clear out after starting the AC and air filter. I’m allergic to mold and had no problems. I would gladly stay again.

Gabby’s apartment is exactly as described. It is in a great location. Very close to Stoney Brook Village. We enjoyed walking to get our morning coffee. The apartment was very well stocked and spotless. Gabby thought of everything we could have possibly needed. We hope to be back next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Nir’s home. It was very clean and welcoming. The pool was just lovely and much needed on some very warm days. Especially after working hard all day! The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need to cook gourmet meals! Nice large subzero refrigerator as well. Very spacious home and well designed for private areas. Air conditioning was fabulous as was hot water in the many bathrooms. Lots of towels for bath and pool .Beds we’re comfortable which was amazing. Close to parkways, grocery and gym. We felt very much at hime. Nir is an outstanding kind host and communicates very well if there is an issue. We hope to stay again in the future! I highly recommend Nir’s home!!!

We LOVED our stay at this house! Here were some of our favorite things about it: - It is even bigger and more beautiful than the photos! We were very pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. There are multiple living spaces so there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. - The kitchen is phenomenal and has everything you could need. They even had a nutribullet which I usually miss when I’m traveling - The pool is 10/10 and is long enough to swim laps in! Would stay here again in a heartbeat just to swim in the pool 😆 One thing to note is while you can see the water, and it looks relatively close on the map, it is actually about a 15 minute walk Bellport Marina where there is a small beach and a 6 minute drive to a slightly larger local beach. We didn’t mind too much because we have young kids and mostly just spent time at the house swimming. We stayed for a week and it flew by because it was such a serene and relaxing stay! Martha's place was an absolute gem in Rego Park! The entire upstairs floor offered surprising spaciousness and privacy despite technically being a shared space. The comfortable beds, large bathroom, and ample closet space made it feel like home. The open kitchen and excellent TV setup with numerous viewing options were wonderful bonuses. The location couldn't be better - fantastic walking neighborhood with easy access to subway, parks, and countless dining options. Just a quick 20-minute ride to Manhattan made exploring the city effortless. Martha respects guests' privacy while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The proximity to Flushing Meadows Park, Citi Field, and shopping centers adds tremendous value. The fast WiFi was perfect for my remote work needs. This place truly deserves its high rating - I've already recommended it to friends and family visiting NYC. Cannot wait to return on my next trip to Queens!

Great place and location with a very nice backyard for relaxing, swimming and grilling. We had an excellent stay and Jean Francois was very responsive to some questions from our end. Highly recommended.
