Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton

This is by far the nicest place we have stayed in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The beautiful house and gorgeous, serene setting made this a place a dream to relax. And Marko’s hospitality and attention to detail really made this a special getaway vacation. The house was spotless, the pool pristine, and the beds and other furniture were comfy. We really hope we can return soon. We highly recommend!

This beautiful stone house was great fun. Locating it was interesting, a bit like playing a game but in a most positive way. The pleasant garden with it fruit trees and lovely views was appreciated. A person with some physical limitations would want to consider the stone steps required to get up and down to the property. But I would say that is more than worth it. While the location is not in the town, it was no real issue getting to restaurants but a car is needed.

Gordan’s place is a home and we certainly felt at home during our stay here. The proximity to good, reasonably priced restaurants and the water makes this place a perfect vacation spot. Gordan is very detailed and very easy to interact with. His recommendations were all spot on. Everything worked and there is plenty of room. We had six people and never felt cramped. We are very happy we decided to visit Neum for 2.5 days of our tour through Croatia. We are even happier that we stayed at Gordon’s place. Coming from the USA, we had no idea what to expect in Bosnia. Bosnia is both much different and much the same as Croatia and I would come back here again if I have the opportunity.

Upon arrival we were enthusiastically welcomed. After a long drive, the homemade lemonade was very tasty. We immediately felt at home, because the apartment is nicely decorated. From the balcony you have a beautiful view and enjoy the silence. When you wake up, you get a beautiful view right away. From this place you have many possibilities for viewings. Trebinje is a very cozy town. In addition to Trebinje, there is so much beauty in this area, to visit. We can also recommend the host's antique shop. We bought very original stuff here. We were only here for 2 nights, but we'd love to come back sometime.

A very nice villa close to the city (10 to 12) minutes driving. You will enjoy the calmness and the nature of Mostar. The villa has its fruits trees specially the cherry.. we loved it. Spending the time in the pool surrounded by the mountains view is something very nice that we loved. I highly recommend Danijela villa for small families or even couples . Danijela is very very helpful and in touch at anytime.. she was very generous with us. Thank you Danijela 🌹🙏🌹

Suad was very helpful, friendly, and responsive. I can’t think of anything more I could ask for a host. He collected us from the airport, made barbecue for us, helped with finding good local shops and restaurants. The house was fairly clean. The beddings and towels were very clean with a fresh smell. The kitchenware needed a little cleaning before using. The furniture and curtains smelled cigarettes a little which may be disturbing for some people. The house has a nice garden with a closed barbecue place, tables to sit and chat outside, a trampoline, and a swimming pool for kids. There are three units for rent in the same garden, so you may be sharing them with others. The location is close to a rail station which has a couple trips a day to Sarajevo city center and Mostar. There is not much to do in walking distance. You need a car to access to beautiful parks, lakes, and other locations of interest. Overall, we were happy with the renting.

A really nice property overall. Very clean. Good facilities and top spec equipment. Everything you need is there and thought about. Beds really nice and comfy. House has loads of sunlight. Really nice manager who communicated well and looked after us. Some nice restaurants within 5 min drive. So much cheaper than Dubrovnik. Border was ok but on way in took 2 of us about 45mins to get thru. There is a bit of a rush out of Croatia after 4pm as people head back into Bosnia after work. Other times it was less than 10 mins. We didn’t feel need to visit Dubrovnik more than once as villa was so nice. Would recommend this place and we will go back one day!

The room is well decorated.. There is private parking. It is quiet and has a city view. Most importantly, you can bring a large dog to stay. Recommended!

Mediha is a really nice person. And he sees us as guests, not as a customer. He even came to the house in person and found a solution to all our problems, and when we asked for help with renting a car, he took us back in half an hour and saved us a big burden, I think I will recommend it to all my friends and I will stay there when I come back. Especially the house is equipped to meet all your needs.

We spent new years eve here and it had an awesome views of the all the fireworks in mostar. The check in process could be better and improved but other than that the place itself was really good and the parking was secure and safe.highly recommend this place!

We had a very nice stay here. The vine over the terrace provides pleasant shade, so you can sit outside comfortably, even in hot temperatures. The pool is great with a view of Mostar and the mountain landscape. The house has everything you need, it was clean and located in a quiet, green area, not too far from the city. Plus Blago is a very nice host! I recommend this place.

We booked for the weekend and were very happy with our stay. The house as well as the pool were very clean and in a private location. Great communication with the host with quick arrangements.

We had a fantastic stay at Happyland, it is paradise - private, peaceful and beautiful! The hosts were very responsive and extremely helpful with our transport to the villa from our mountain hut and then onwards to the airport after our stay. The lake is gorgeous and we swum in it every day, the padddleboards were lots of fun and the pool was great too. The outdoor terrace is great for relaxing and the cooking facilities are great. Beds very comfortable and great hot power shower. The master bedroom has a stunning view to wake up to. I could not recommend this place more and I will definitely be back!

This house on the hill above Mostar is an absolute gem. The large terrace offers breathtaking views of the city and surrounding hills, making it the perfect spot to relax at any time of day. The heated pool was a fantastic addition, allowing us to unwind while soaking in the incredible scenery. The property is located just a short drive from all of Mostar’s major attractions, yet it feels like a peaceful escape. The house itself is modern, clean, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall ease of the experience. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

A spacious and comfortable apartment. I stayed for two nights, but it has everything for a longer stay. I can only confirm everything written in the reviews here. Not my first time in the area, but def one of the best apartments I stayed at. In fact, I enjoyed staying here so much, I now wish I booked a longer trip. Very polite and nice host. The house was exactly what we were searching for, a place in the nature of Bosnia, with a nice living room, kitchen, bathroom, balcony and garden. The view onto the lake in the front and the mountains in the back was amazing. The area also was perfect for us to go hiking and biking.

Enjoyable stay, the room is clean and tidy, the water outlet of the washroom sink needs to be pushed down, the metal lever under the sink needs to be flicked down, Natasa is very friendly to allow me to check in early, the room is 100 meters away from the beach line, the surrounding area is built on a gentle slope, so you need to take the glyph to get to.Everything is good, nice beach, quiet residence. Recommended.

A beautiful place to rest. Great chalet which met all our expectations. Ideal for family getaways and relaxation. The house was super clean and equipped with everything we needed. The heating is wood and there are stoves in the living room/kitchen, separate lounge and one room. When we arrived it was very cold and seemed like we were going to miss the heat in the other room however it was just as Elvedina had said. When the house was warm, we only had two stoves, and we didn't even use the one in the room the whole time. Elvedina was extremely accommodating, responsive to all messages and gave us very useful local information. There is the nearest restaurant some 500m away, but the nearest shop is a 30-45min drive away and you need to take some food with you when you arrive. A wonderful experience that we all, especially the kids, enjoyed a lot.

We were very satisfied with the villa. The host was very caring. We were a little uncomfortable with the sewage smell at some hours.
