Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Hernando County

This was one of the best vacation experiences we've had! The house is perfect, it's well stocked, has tons of amenities, and is in a great location. We ended up staying for 3 weeks and never needed a thing. Carolyn or Miranda answer any question or concern immediately. The house is comfortable and the yard is great. Being right on the water was a dream, getting out to the river took less than 10 minutes and then it's like you're on a different planet it's so beautiful. We would DEFINITELY come back to stay any time!

This place was beautiful. We loved the kitchen and how open the inside was. The screened porch area was great to relax without worrying about bugs. The lights in the back made night fishing and hanging outside longer possible, and we really enjoyed that. We would definitely book this place again!

It was a great place to get away but still close to everything. Nothing like sitting outside at night with the firepit on looking up at the stars! The place was very comfortable, clean with all the necessary amenities. We hope to return.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home! The host was very helpful and responsive. The highlight of our stay was definitely the ability to kayak right out the back door - we paddled out into Mud River Springs and saw manatees absolutely everywhere. It was a magical experience! The yard was peaceful and it was relaxing to sit out with coffee on the deck and watch the wildlife (squirrels, birds, fish). Situated in a small quiet neighborhood (but still close to all the activities we came to the area for), we couldn’t have imagined a more peaceful place to spend our week. We really loved this spot and hope to enjoy it again someday!

Would recommend this stay. I’ve been in the area several times and this was by far my favorite home to rent. The outside accommodations are nice, between then screen porch, multiple decks on the water and fire pit there’s plenty to keep you comfortable on the river.

This was the perfect river shack for our multi family vacay. We had kids from 1yo to 15 and they all had a blast. They loved the rope swing and having their own space in the bunk houses. The outdoor full bathroom was perfect for kids. Plenty of kayaks or paddle boards for us to share. Not a far paddle to clear water. It was our first time to Weeki wachi river and we had a great experience. Allison was always quick to respond any time we messaged her. We would stay here again.

Rebecca’s place was perfect. We loved the location and the house was great. Our kids loved having access to paddle boards and kayaks.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Weeki! Kevin was a fantastic host—super friendly and welcoming. The house was super clean and had a cozy, laid-back, homey vibe that made us feel right at home. We really appreciated all the extra touches he provided throughout. The pool was a major highlight—absolutely gorgeous at night with the lights on and so fun to swim in. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice home in centralized location, close to stores and restaurants while also being near parks and walking trails. Within one hour driving distance of major destinations as well. The heated pool was excellent and got up to temperature within a few days. Being pet friendly was a huge plus and our dogs loved the patio area and fenced-in yard. Hosts were helpful and very responsive. Perfect spot for a small group, family, or those just looking for a cozy home away from home.

MotoRanch is amazing, we stayed in Privateer twi years ago and in Factory Ride this year and both houses are amazing, clean, beautiful and factory ride is so big too! I live everything about it and croom is awesome for riding all day. Pool is amazing addition to the house and makes perfect for refreshing break during the day or calming evening. I wish there would be fire for making fires at night since we didnt get any but we could go and get some in the woods obviously which we didnt do. We were too tired after the whole days of riding😂 Motoranch is awesome and definitely will be back!

This place was perfect for myself, husband and 2 dogs. It had a pool and more importantly a fenced in yard for our dogs. It was located near places to eat and shop yet tucked away from the busyness. I defiantly would recommend this place.

Overall, it was a great place to stay! Spacious. Had everything to accommodate kids including plastic kitchenware! Plenty of extra blankets and pillows too! We had fun and enjoyed the space. The host was great as well! ^_^

Austin's place was beautiful. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, the pool is heated and the water felt amazing. Austin was friendly and responded quickly. We will definitely book again.

Stacey and Jason were great hosts. Their place was perfect for my husband and I. Everything was clean and they had everything there we needed. They told us some great local restaurants which were great. Thank you for a great stay! We truly felt at home.

Very comfortable guest house and unique atmosphere there next to her wildlife sanctuary. Everything was just as described and we really enjoyed the sanctuary tour. We would definitely stay there again.

The place is newly renovated and very clean. Great family getaway, we spent most our time by the water watching manatees, fishing, catching crabs and making use of the kayaks. The place feels secluded but is close enough a wide variety of restaurants and stores. Would definitely recommend.

Nice roomy house, clean, safe area, great yard, clean heated pool... overall exactly what we were told and what we needed. I requested the pool be heated and it was the perfect temperature when we arrived! We were in town for our son's wedding and the house was a hit with the kids(young adults) and grandkids! We had an amazing stay! The place was super clean and exactly as described. The host said the river was magic—and it truly was. We saw several manatees, including one right off the back dock! The kayaks were a big hit, and the whole family had a great time. Highly recommend!

We travel often to Weeki Wachee. This was one of our favorite rentals to date. The location is excellent, yet off the river enough to be peaceful during peak periods on the river. It was well decorated and supplied with subtle touches that made the difference between the run-of-the-mill rentals in the area and one we'd return to without a second thought. We'd stay here again and bring more family next time!

The host was so accommodating to my wife and I’s wedding night! She was so thoughtful setting up glasses of champagne for our celebration of our wedding! The place was so clean and easy to get to, no issues at all! She was also very nice to let us extend our check out hours for a couple hours later than 10am. We had fresh coffee in a nice coffee machine already ready to brew! The best host I have ever stayed with. Thank you so much for making our night special!

We had such an amazing time here! The home was extremely clean with comfortable beds! It had everything we could possibly need and more. I’ve never stayed at an Airbnb that supplied literally EVERYTHING we could need: spices, cooking spray, endless variety of pots/pans, beach towels, new bath towels, plenty of storage, kayaks/paddleboards. Cute/quiet neighborhood walkable to a restaurant and to the little family beach along the River. The backyard area was so nice being on the canal. The bnb felt brand new. We would stay here again for sure!
