Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Hermanville-sur-Mer

A fantastic base for a Normandy adventure. It’s situated on a quiet lane on the edge of town neighbouring some picturesque older properties [this did however mean a 20 minute walk to the shops] The property itself appeared to be a newish build with the usual amenities and was adequate for our needs [we took and used our own kettle] a nice touch was the shutters on all windows and doors rendering it both secure and with the ability to block out daylight when inside if needed. We squeezed our VW Transporter onto the driveway no problem. We would definitely consider staying again

We had a lovely stay. There was everything we could possibly need in the house. It was a very interesting house with decor that had lots to see and discuss.

The accommodation is cozy and very comfortable, just a 10-minute walk from the beach and the outside is a real plus. We enjoyed the little attention that Fanny and Julien had upon arrival. We would highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of space, well equipped, very comfortable beds and a perfect location! We walked to the Sword Beach Memorial Service early on the anniversary. Our visit to the local British Military Cemetery (again we walked) was very moving. Ideal for getting out and about and we visited numerous historical places; Caen, Bayeux, Omaha Beach, Pégasus Bridge - it was great and so nice to go back to a comfortable home and share the evening. We ought to add that the beach, which is on the doorstep, is beautiful and sandy, only one of us was brave enough to go in the sea though 😁. We would recommend to anyone looking for a D-Day beaches trip.

Isabelle and Alain are the most wonderful, warm-hearted hosts you could wish for—so lovely and genuinely thoughtful. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home and incredibly welcomed. Their home in the beautiful Normandy region is a true gem. The space is filled with charm, comfort, and everything you could possibly need (and more!). From the soft cushions to the perfectly equipped kitchen and the peaceful backyard, every detail is cared for with love and intention. Normandy itself is breathtaking—a region full of history, natural beauty, and a calm that invites you to slow down and truly enjoy the moment. I found myself wishing I could spend every quiet Saturday morning there, just soaking in the peace. I super highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a magical getaway. Beautiful accommodation that we used for three families with a baby at the end of May 2025. Very well equipped for babies (games adapted in abundance, changing tables, bed, etc.) beautiful outdoor space (table and chairs, living room, bbq, etc.), large kitchen and large dining table. There's space! Both master bedrooms are nice, one with a walk-in shower. We also enjoyed the board games provided in the living room that naturally invite you to use them... while having an aperitif!

We had a great time at the accommodation, peaceful place, well decorated, very nice with its covered terrace. Good bedding. We'll be sure to come back.

We visited for the 81st D-Day celebrations. Perfectly placed for anyone visiting Sword Beach, Pegasus Bridge, Merville Battery, Hillman and Caen. Stephanie was extremely helpful and let us know about several local events. The clean modern accommodation was perfect for a short or longer stay and there were as many leaflets and guides that were provided that would put many Tourist Information offices to shame! All in all I would highly recommend the accommodation. Information Information

Everything was perfect and perfectly organized by Florence. Thank you for that :-) Communication went smoothly. I would like to point out 2 small things, but they do not lead to a deduction of stars, because I felt incredibly comfortable and would have liked to have stayed longer. I haven't found a place to store the clothes. I also thought it was a shame that I couldn't park in the residence parking lot. I understood that a private parking space was available. Thank you so much for the welcome gift!! I enjoyed the delicious cider in the evening on the magnificent terrace :-)

Charming apartment with a nice terrace and a private parking space. Perfectly located for touring the landing sites. Catherine's welcome was warm.

Very tastefully furnished apartment on the first floor with large terrace. All as described with very good seating and sleeping furniture(!) Bedroom with shutters. Secure parking space for cars on locked premises. Overall quiet location with short walks to the sea and to boulangerie, restaurants, shops and market hall.

Perfect location for going to the beach without the car. Functional apartment and a pleasant terrace for eating for 4.

A great weekend in a charming studio, with absolutely magnificent sea views! The place is quiet, relaxing and very well located, perfect for relaxing. We had a great time in a spotless apartment, recently renovated, with sea views. No car needed, everything is within walking distance, we enjoyed the dike and the sandy beach. Thanks to Christelle for her welcome, guidelines and advice.

Beautiful views and well-catered. Check in was easy with Katrin who spoke very good English, which was good because our French isn't great! Cabourg itself is lovely and only a 5-10 min walk away.

Lovely little flat exactly as described, great communication, easy to park, easy to find.

swimming pool was under maintenance. Accommodation very good, nice to have an elevator. Small but functional. There was a defect with the shutter in the living room but was repaired very quickly with the help of Estelle. Would definitely rent this accommodation again.
