Period Family House in Beautiful Forest Village

SteveRating, 5 stars44 months ago
We really enjoyed staying in Mark’s house. It’s nicely decorated and very well equipped. Mark is a great host and was very helpful when it came to local recommendations. While Mark was only a phone call away, we were left to our own devices and didn’t see anyone during our stay, with the exception of Billy, the house cat (who the kids loved and is very docile). Blaisdon is lovely and peaceful and I imagine the lack of light pollution would make for great stargazing when the weather is clear. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The Annexe at Walnut Tree Cottage

SianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Mel was so lovely and friendly, and was perfect with our anxious rescue dog Eric who can be tricky with new people - he likes his space. We felt really at home and all the little extras for Eric - dog towels, blankets, treats and toys were lovely. The Annexe is in a lovely quiet spot with quiet dog walks within 1 minute, so this was perfect for Eric. And it is really well stocked with everything you'd expect in an Airbnb - it genuinely felt as though we were guests rather than a money-making venture. Mel even added some shopping for us that we'd forgotten to bring when she did her shop. Great host, very kind.

Thank you Isobel for a lovely stay in your Georgian Manor House. We enjoyed our weekend and found the place spotless and delightful; it’s just right for a small group with a great kitchen, lovely mature garden, and comfortable dining area and bedrooms. The local Thai place is great ;) thanks for the tips! Take care

Ludlow - 5* Luxury Apartment with free parking

AnneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is a lovingly restored apartment near the centre of Ludlow. The furnishings and de or are very much in keeping with the location. It was spotlessly clean and uncluttered. If you are tall or broad you should know that the bath and shower reflect the size constraints of the period. Ludlow has embraced the slow movement and the apartment fitted that relaxing and environmentally friendly philosophy while remaining luxurious. Communication with Andy and Amanda was excellent. A great place to catch up with friends over a weekend.

Light and airy flat right on the Malvern Hills

CherylRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We've just returned from 3 nights at Katrina's place which is absolutely delightful and really can't fault anything. It is bigger than we expected, and quirky ;), private and quiet and a real home from home, with everything you could need and it was exceptionally clean. The goodies were very much appreciated and really added to our stay. The area is gorgeous and right there in the hills, it is a short walk from the highest point. It is a great base from which to walk and explore The Malverns. It was our first time and we were blown away by the 360 degree views on the hills. We were sad to leave as it was such a relaxing and enjoyable break, but hope to be back. Thank you Katrina so being so thoughtful and making our stay so special.

Heartsease B&B, Herefordshire, on Wye Valley Walk

JasonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We enjoyed our all-too-brief stay in Sarah and Damian's lovely home. The space was cozy and comfortable, and Sarah is a great cook and an engaging conversationalist. Her recommendations for things to do on our trip were spot-on. We hope to see them again on our next trip to Herefordshire!

Plant Based B&B - Bedroom 1 of 4

AnneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Julia and Tony’s place was truly beautiful, set within pretty gardens and totally renovated to a very high standard. Our room with en-suite was perfect and looked out over the village green and church. The vegan breakfast served in the stunning kitchen was delicious. Two pubs were within walking distance as well as excellent restaurants about ten minutes drive away. Highly recommend!

Annie is a very welcoming host who makes you feel at home immediately. The room is in a lovely peaceful spot down a lane but within a 15 minute walk to a lovely pub with food. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for peace and quiet but also close enough to towns for amenities.

Peace and quiet in Hay-on-Wye

SharonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Emily greeted us at the door and was very friendly and welcoming. We parked right in front of her home and everything in Hay-on-Wye is in walking distance. She offered tea and gave us a tour of our accomodations which included a very bright bedroom and comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. It was very easy to come and go as we explored the area. Emily also gave us options for pubs/dinner. We visited The Blue Boar for drinks and The Swan for dinner...both were charming. Hay-on-Wye is such a unqiue town with so many bookshops...one of the reasons we visited and we were not disappointed. We happened to be there on Market Day (Emily had told us about it) and also during the celebration of VE day which made the town center very lively. We slept well in Emily's quiet neighborhood and had one of our best breakfasts...soaked oats with berries/jam and nuts along with toast, coffee and tea. Yum! We also enjoyed a great conversation in the morning...such a lovely way to start our day!
