Toyin was an awesome host who was responsive and helpful. She checked in during our stay to ensure everything was ok. The place was nice and clean with a great proximity to downtown. I would highly recommend Toyin's place for anyone looking to stay downtown Richmond.

Great spot to stay for a weekend in Richmond. The place was homey and John has done a great job in telling the story of the house renovations. It has some odd quirks but was a great place to stay. If you are a light sleeper I would suggest bringing earplugs as the windows are single pane and some noise will come into the room, however it is a quiet area and easy to walk to nearby cafes and restaurants.

The home was beautiful as the pictures shown. Very peaceful, that I had to stay an additional night. My host was very nice and understanding. It felt like I was right at home being as though I'm from that area. It was worth the travel!

This home was amazing! Each bedroom has their own spotless bathroom and the beds were amazingly comfortable. The space was spotless - like newly renovated - and we enjoyed the hot tub as well. It’s walking distance to a breakfast spot and a few coffee spots as well - truly enjoyed staying at this home - thank you!!

If you are looking for a safe, clean, and BEAUTIFUL place, THIS IS IT!!! Keith was responsive and helpful. EVERYTHING that you could want is within 2 miles, if not walking distance! And did I say the home is BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED and INVITING! It also has its own fitness regiment, just forget the keys upstairs and you will understand lol. I loved it! It allowed me to eat crumbl cookie and cupcakes from Whole Food with NO GUILT!! Great Place and Great People

Scott's apartment was the perfect base for us in Richmond for close to a week as we hosted a family wedding. The apartment is meticulously clean and thoughtfully stocked & furnished. The beds are comfortable, the A/C works well, and we easily found on-street parking. We loved the spa-quality towels & linens, the nicely outfit kitchen, and Scott's excellent recommendations! The location is perfect - on a lovely street in the FAN only blocks away from the Virginia Museum of History & Culture and the VMFA. Scott is an extremely considerate and responsive host. We look forward to a return stay!

Kathy’s house was awesome! It was easy to find and super close to where we wanted to be. The room had everything we needed and the king size bed was super comfy! We will be back !

This was a great space, walkable neighborhood. Close by coffee shop and parks, Union Market. We did end up driving to the river to walk, Scott’s Addition for a sports bar and Carytown for shopping but it wasn’t far. The only suggestion is to get shades or thicker curtain for the front bedroom because lots of car lights, etc. came through the sheer curtains. Comfortable beds. Clean.

This was just what my family needed to have a fun and comfortable Thanksgiving. Shopping is very close by, the place is clean and spacious. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. I’d definitely stay again.

Like other reviews I've read, Betty's Place is great for a working trip, or simply wanting to get away a relax. Spacious kitchen and living room. The gym is a nice 1/2 mile walk from door to door and has enough for a solid workout. Truly has a "home" feel!

As a family of 5 (3 teenage boys), we were all very comfortable. The house was clean, smelled amazing, beds were comfy with TVs in each room and I loved sitting on the front porch. Neighborhood was beautiful/historic, neighbors friendly and easily walkable to shops/restaurants. Great neighborhood to run/jog to nearby parks. We loved our stay!

The house is picture perfect. Access was easy and clear from the instructions provided. The host was proactive in providing all necessary and extra amenities like an iron, ironing board, q-tips, and extra towels. We made her aware of our agenda before hand and she was very flexible to our schedule and late night / early morning moves. This accommodation choice definitely made our homecoming experience even better. Definitely worth the price. Thank you!
