The picturesque village of Broekhuizen is rich in cozy restaurants with terraces on the Maas. You can cycle between the rose and asparagus fields, through forest and nature reserves on quiet roads and paths. The apartment is suitable for couples, business travelers, and families. Unique house next to a small old church. We rebuild the old shed next to our house to be a vacation home. It has everything you need to stay for a couple of days or weeks. You can sit in the shadow of an 100 year old oak tree. For the adventurous type we have something very special, when you stay at our house you get the key for an old World War II bunker that's on the property. That is a great play house for children.

Hof Michiels (Apartment 2)

Our lovingly restored apartments are located in a former barn of our organic farm. The approximately 300-year-old farm is located in the middle of the Maas-Schwalm-Nette Nature Park. In the immediate vicinity is Lake Borner and Lake Harik. We cultivate permanent pasture with a suckler cow herd, consisting of approx. 20 animals that spend the summer in the pastures. Our farm is home to our friendly dog named Costa.
