We had a nice stay in this very well maintained, quiet castle with beautiful views. It is well located for nearby tours. Nothing to say it was great

Fantastic experience and great value . Stunning castle in a beautiful location. Well appointed apartments. Attentive host. A few issues with ants, but it is a castle after all, and Celine was quick to help resolve the problem. Great place for kids.

Château Lapeyrouse is located in a beautiful and quiet area close to Lac du Bourget. The castle itself is divided in several appartments on the ground floor and upper floors. We stayed in one of the appartments on the ground floor (with bathroom and 1 sleeping room) on the 1st floor) Beautiful decorated, kept in original style, and a very spatious living room and garden room. The rooms kept very cool, even when temperatures rose well above 30 degrees. The surrounding terrain was excellent, the garden great to sit for dining, the views from the castle over the valley and mountains was magnificent. Not to forget the nice pool to cool off on a hot day. We had great service during reception and afterwards, from the caretaker of the castle. Conclusion: well worth a stay, you’ll feel like a lord of your own castle!

Staying at the castle was such an amazing experience. It was the perfect location, close enough to visit Annecy but far enough to have peace and privacy. The apartment was huge and very comfortable. And the host, Floriane was very helpful. If you are lucky enough to come across this listing, do not hesitate! It is truly an unforgettable experience.

Such a beautiful and unique place. A wonderful and authentic experience, helpful, welcoming and very kind hostess to check us in. Area is amazing with many fantastic opportunities. Wine, cheese, mountains charming cities the beautiful Lac du Bourget, Aix en Provence, fantastic restaurants and much more! We definitely want to return and bring family and friends too
