Great home with plenty of room. Incredibly great to sit at the kitchen table and watch the hares bounce around. There were 7 of us in the house without this causing us to walk on top of each other.

The beginning was problematic, a neighbor had to wait for us until 10:30 PM because of the key, as it was not accessible in a box with a code, as indicated in the ad. We liked the house very much. Especially how clean everything was! Our main wish was fulfilled: the northern lights danced across the sky. We were even lucky a couple of times. The island is interesting, now in October colorfully colored with the view of the rugged snow peaks all around. The facilities of the Space Center are also exciting. Shopping in Andenes is not a problem, unfortunately there is no tourist information anymore. Actually, October is not a good time to travel: the big whale watching boat takes a break (contrary to the information on their homepage), the RIB boats often do not sail because of too high waves. Fantastic clouds, the sight of the waves and the wonderful landscape made up for it. Also, the magnificent conservatory with the spectacular panoramic view is more suitable for warmer months.

Christina's beautifully decorated house has everything you need. Good starting point for hikes where we saw moose and reindeer. In Harstad we found excellent restaurants.

The cottage is cozy, peaceful, and set in a beautiful location, and Benthe was so kind and helpful. Wish I could have stayed more days! Highly recommended.

We spent a week at Andreas' cabin. We had some minor problems getting in, but Andreas responded quickly and resolved the situation with his father. Five stars for this! Cabin itself was beautiful and well equipped. The weather was mostly great and we got to spend as much time outside as we wanted. We can recommend this cabin to others too!

We were very happy with our stay. We were six adults, two small children and a small baby. It was clean and nice, fresh flowers were on the tables. In the bathroom, there was a clean bath mat and cloths for the baby. Two girls, 5 and 3, had a great time in the playroom, which had toys that were just right for them. We were lucky with the weather, and could sit outside on the porch. The house has a lovely view. We felt welcome from the moment we entered the door and can highly recommend this to others.

We had an unforgettable stay at Knut's charming house in Staksvoll. The stunning views of the surrounding countryside are very beautiful. Despite our late arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Knut, which made us feel really welcome. The place was comfortable and well equipped, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We can recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing time in beautiful surroundings.

Nice apartment with beautiful views and walking distance to Folkeparken. Sondre was very easy to communicate with and helpful.

One of the best Airbnb accommodations we have had! Caring host and hostess. Somewhat isolated location, so car is definitely needed to reach services.

After very bad experience with other Airbnb, we had to find last minute replacement and Siv was super friendly and responsive, happy to accomodate us on very short notice. Her house is absolutely georgeous, squaky clean and extremely well equipped with everything you can even think of, suitable for longer stays too. She left us couple of welcome drinks and some chocolate which was a very nice touch. The area around the house is beautiful and peaceful with lots of wildlife. I can definitely recommend her cabin, we would love to come back!

We were in the area visiting some of the islands and doing some hiking. This house has quite a bit of room and contains everything you need for a stay of days or weeks, from comfortable chairs to a good bed and a well equipped kitchen. Some nice hikes are in the vicinity, smaller store at 5km and bigger ones 50km north (Andenes). I can recommend a stay here.

Beautiful surroundings. The jacuzzi was placed in a way that it was a private area. Clean and nice, very cozy.

Sleeping in the glass dome was a wonderful experience. It was cozy, clean and warm. Ragnar received us very friendly and offered a welcome drink. During our stay he and the rest of the staff was always around to help, answer questions and give tips about what to do in the area to get a good and local experience. Bathrooms and kitchens as well as the sauna and music room are located in the main building and for everyone to use. Some parts are still being renovated. It is a unique place with the vibe of a hostel where you will meet many nice people.
