Excellent stay in this small cottage located in the middle of the forest. Too bad we only stayed there for one night. The chalet is located in a very quiet place typical of Norwegian landscapes. Hannes is very friendly and quickly answered all our questions. We even had 2 small sleds to take the luggage to the cottage when the trail is too snowy. The views are sublime in the morning when you wake up in the snowy landscape. Thank you for the discovery

Amazing place by the beach. Super comfortable with tons of amenities, prime location, super friendly and responsive hosts. Only thing to note was that it was not super clean all around. Not dirty or gross by any means, but I think cleanliness and order could be improved slightly to improve the experience. Overall we loved the place and would stay there again!

We absolutely loved it here. Ragnar was an excellent host and the place was just like we expected. Ragnar was super helpful we are vegan and Ragnar went out of his way to make us a vegan dinner (which is included with your stay) breakfast was great too. The space has so many fun little nooks and things to do. The views are amazing the dome was amazing and we would 10/10 recommend staying here if you are planing a stay in Harstad.

We stayed (3 adults + 2 kids) over Christmas & New Year. It was a fantastic stay - relaxed and peaceful. Hilde is a superb host and took time to make sure we had everything we needed. She also went the extra mile to help us understand the area and search for attractions that might be open over Christmas. The house has a lovely view of mountains and water, while only 10mins drive from a good supermarket. Easy walks are nearby, and we saw the northern lights often from just outside the house and a few moose. Skiing is also possible. The house itself is very nicely renovated, tidy and lovingly decorated (additionally for Xmas for us!). We really enjoyed that Hilde documented the history of the house back to the 1870s, as we felt we understood the place better. We were lucky to also have personal contact with Hilde and her family, which was a wonderful experience and we are very happy to now have Norwegian friends. Hilde and her family also speak perfect English. Loved it!

We stayed 9 days in April for cross-country skiing at Trond's and had a great time. The location was perfect for us, with good trails, Lofoten, Harstad and Narvik within easy reach. With moose and northern lights we had an unforgettable week.

We had very nice days at the villa. Maria was always very helpful and available. The view from the house is beautiful and it is easily accessible. It has a 24/7 shop, which is within walking distance and has a very extensive range. The hot tub is clean and easy to use. Thank you for the hospitality.

beautiful cabin, surrounded by wonderful nature and great hiking possibilities. A bit hard to reach without a car, but we took a taxi from Borkenes and that worked out well. The cabin is cosy and well equipped, thank you for this wonderful stay, we did not want to leave this place!

This was a rare find! This old cottage has been carefully remodeled and is full of antiques and family history. The owner lives next door and was up at midnight waiting for my arrival. Leif Petter and his wife were so gracious and friendly. They showed us around the home and also gave us tips on our travel plans. They are such lovely human beings. The location is right off the main road and easily accessible. It felt like we found a authentic Norwegian treasure with this one!

Large renovated house with a great view out across to the mountains of Grytoya. Some unexpected little surprises here, including an electric sauna, heated bathroom floors, a multi-speaker Sonos sound system, a nice wood -burning stove with plenty of firewood, a protected outdoor barbeque 'hut', and a little trailer camping caravan parked outside that kids, in particular, might have fun exploring. The house is the last on a quiet coastal street, so feels quite secluded. Plenty of space for larger groups here. The drive over from Harstad takes about 25-30 minutes and involves climbing and descending a decent ridge...might make some drivers uneasy in snowy conditions. Nice hikes up at the top of the ridge...and great northern light viewing down at the end of the peninsula at Elgsnes. We really enjoyed it here.

We had a lovely few days in Marith's home. Beautiful views from the panoramic windows in the living room. Marith was very communicative and everything was exactly as we had expected. If we ever go back to the area and the property is available we would certainly rebook.

Andrine has a very nice house with all the amenities you need and then some. Clean and tidy and responded quickly if I had any questions. Breathtaking views of Harstad area.

Great stay at new and modern cabin. Clean and tidy. Lovely surroundings and quiet and peaceful. The host was easy to communicate with and easy to reach👍 Thanks for us and we love to come again!

This cabin is far better than the description. It is incredibly beautiful by a lake, there is electricity in the cabin, there is a fridge, freezer, stove, electric kettle. You can shower in the bathroom after heating a bucket of water that is toilet inside the house. The cabin is cozy, we were there in July and the weather was great when we weren't eating on the deck, then we could sit sheltered on the porch. It's quiet on the lake, but there are neighbors, and it's cozy when they walk across the grounds to get to their own cabins. The bed is incredibly soft, but it made us sleep incredibly well. I want to go back, it was a wonderful stay.
