Fee's place was very comfortable and well-equipped. The surroundings were beautiful. Unfortunately we had alot of rain and weren't able to cross the river in our vehicles on one of the days to exit the estate, due to flooding, but Fee was amazing at keeping us updated on what was happening. We had a wonderful family weekend! Thanks, Fee!

We loved our 2 night stay at KarMichael Farm. The Rose Cottage was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The views were so beautiful overlooking the farm. The heated blankets on the beds were fantastic as it was very chilly at night. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay in Himeville - it’s very close to the Glencairn Wedding venue too.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Even on the day where it rained non-stop for 26 hours we had a blast. It was a cozy, romantic, comfortable and peaceful stay. Everything we hoped for. The cottage is well appointed, tastefully furnished. The bed was large and comfortable. Bathrooms clean and functional. Kitchen was lovely to use and well appointed. We never even ventured off the farm. We had a lovely walk when the rain cleared. It is private and relaxing. If you need a place to just shut out the world and slow down then this is it.

We had a great stay at Inversanda Farm. The fenced yard was large so our dogs had plenty of room. The cottage was cozy and a substantial size so we could comfortably stay for 4 nights. We would definitely be back!

A great spot to stay for a getaway - peacefull, quiet, beautiful location, fun activities like walking or tubing, lots of restaurants and coffee spots in the area. Robyn was a great host throughout. Highly recommended.

1000 characters is not enough to describe the beauty of the place and its people, but I'll try. The venue is beautifully natural with plenty of grass area for comfy camping in tents. The cottage was rustic, off-grid and still equipped with all necessities. We slept really well and had a great night's rest in the comfy double bed. Plenty of blankets and comfy soft pillows made us feel at home. If you're going for the scenery, then you will not be disappointed any time of the year. We arrived at night during rain and was kindly guided by Karl from the offramp to the cottage. We got stuck due to the wet roads and Karl was there to assist us from the start. He offered to take us to our racing event without us asking while our car was still stuck. If it weren't for Karl, then our weekend would have turned out completely different and we would have missed the reason we came for. Karl is a gentleman and a legend. Kobi their dog is super amazing. I left with my heart full.

We had a great stay! The place was fabulous..... comfortable, amazingly well kept and just as described. Our host was amazing, proactively checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. All the amenities were on pint and we truly felt at home. Looking forward to our next stay! Thanks Rae

Penwarn farm lodge is breathtaking. The views are to die for. Kate's place had all amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. Her check-in instructions were detailed with great recommendations. However, the road once inside Penwarn farm is not suitable for a sedan or small car when it is raining even with new tires like our car had. There was a bit of rain and our car slid all over and almost hit the wall inside the farm. It would be great if stones or gravel could be added to the dangerous areas before an accident occurs, otherwise as it is, it needs a 4x4 when it rains. Apart from that, we had an excellent stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would book this place again, albeit with a 4x4 😎.

Great weekend stay over. Beautiful ,peaceful surroundings. The cottage is situated on a herbal farm. Very clean & neat. Well equipped, fresh clean linen and towels. Warm water, internet, books everything you need . Lovely essential room, mozzie and soaps provided such a nice touch. Safe environment for todlers. Thank you Kirsten for being so friendly & welcoming. Best host we have ever met. ..sharing your little haven with us ...feast for our senses.

Wonderful views from the cottage with a well kept pretty garden. Great breakfast spot outside on patio and wonderful braai area. We were a group of 4 and found the cottage spacious and comfortable. A good location for trips up Sani pass.

After a week of wet camping we decided to find a cute spot to warm up and relax in. Protea cottage was wonderful. Grant and Sue went above and beyond to help us feel right at home. Rare find - both venue and people! Thank you both 🙏

We had an incredible stay at Shetland Cottage at Inverness Farm! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Les and a helpful guide to local activities and dining. The cottage was cozy and inviting, with a comfortable bed, robes, treats, and hot water bottles adding special touches. The sunlight streaming in and the bay window quickly became our favourite spot to unwind. The fireplace added a charming touch and made our evenings extra relaxing. The farm shop offers drinks, snacks, and books. The cottage is dog-friendly, so your furry friend can join the adventure. Kids would love interacting with the farm animals, including pigs, chickens, sheep, cows, donkeys, and rabbits. Les, our host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We also loved the sundowner spot on the bench or rocks. We highly recommend Shetland Cottage for a peaceful getaway 🌻

Spacious, stunning, and even better than expected! The home offered plenty of space to relax, and the kitchen was absolutely beautiful — perfect for cooking or just hanging out. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay feel extra special. Honestly, the place looks even better in person than in the photos! Plus, the easy access made everything super convenient.

We were in the area for a wedding. We didn't have time to chill at the cottage in the evenings. We've all decided this is a good spot for a weekend away with mates, just to chill and get some RnR

The house was amazing!! Very spacious with a large kitchen and entertaining area! Very peaceful estate, the kids loved roaming the estate. The central pool was great as we could always have eyes on the children. The host and house helper were very responsive and always available. All round Great experience.

Amazing stay for a group of friend or family! Spacious and well equipped with everything you need. The location is breathtaking- and the assistance from the cleaner and ground keeper make the stay very comfortable. The home has more beds and very spacious (not seen on the photos). The Host is very helpful (we had a thousand questions before we went - and Heather patiently responded to all)! Can promote this place more!! We will definitely return!

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at the cottage. It was spacious and Rozelle was very accommodating in providing extra bedding for an additional guest. The cottage is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. It was lovely to wake up to the sounds of the farm in the morning. The location worked well for us.

The farmhouse is spacious and comfortable. The farm is stunning and the farmer was friendly and helpful, we enjoyed walking around among the ducks, sheep and cows. My son particularly enjoyed milking the cow. The road to the farm requires a 4x4 vehicle, and the roads around the farm can be very muddy in the rain, if you would like to walk it is essential to bring hiking boots or wellies.
