We had an amazing time at Raum's Hollow for our 2 families. The kitchen was well-stocked and the lake was such a hit for our tweens and teens - they loved kayaking, there's a hill to fly kites, and it's quiet and peaceful. A great getaway close to great hikes.

The perfect place to stay for a Garden of the Gods trip! Alice was so welcoming and really thought ahead with both the tea/coffee station and a blanket for my dog to sleep on the bed. Also a great place for post-hike naps 😅. Thank you Alice for sharing your home with my dog and I!

A cozy little home

this was a beautiful place to stay off the beaten path, definitely a diamond in the rough. The view on the back deck was amazing and we caught a huge thunderstorm that was awesome to watch. The only one negative thing I would say, is the beds were a little uncomfortable. Thank you so much, Matt! we are definitely thinking about bringing a large group out here to stay.

This was a short stay with the family while my son turkey hunted. The home was clean,comfortable and homey. Very peaceful area. Fenced area for our dog. Shawnee Nationalforest with hiking trails, Garden of the Gods, fishing, Cave in Rock. Hope to stay here again.

We had a great time! My kids and our dog enjoyed the large, open yard. The fire pit was great for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows for s’mores. We would like to go back at some point and would definitely stay here again if we get the opportunity.

This place is absolutely precious. The weather did not cooperate for all we intended to do. That’s means will have to make another trip. Immediately felt like home and could have stayed longer.

Eric and Tyra's place was very warm and homie. We love that everyone could hang out in the living room and talk. We also played cards at the dinning room table. Tyra checked with us several times while we were staying there to make sure everything was good. We really enjoyed our stay.

This space was great! it's listed as a "tiny home" but it does not feel like a tiny home at all. There is plenty of space, an extremely comfortable couch and chair in the main living space, a fully functional kitchen, a decent sized bedroom, and a large bathroom. It is beautiful on the inside and you can tell they spent a lot of money and time putting it together. THE OUTSIDE is the real draw here. A charming fire pit area that has a walkway leading to it directly behind the house. Off to the side is a fenced in private hot tub deck. It is perfect. It is right off the main road, but tucked far enough back that it is very secluded with tons of privacy. The hosts were so helpful, easy to work with, kind, and even had a welcome snack waiting when I walked in. I highly recommend this space!

Shawnee Forest Cabins were a great place to stay after hiking the area all day. The cabin was cozy, easy to find, and very clean upon our arrival. The hosts were very friendly and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. If you utilize the hot tub, make sure you look up and appreciate all the stars!!!

Took a romantic getaway with my fiancé. The camper was homie and intimate, and the hot tub was clean and relaxing. Loved it and would definitely love to come again soon.
