I actually enjoyed staying there. The family was amazing, very welcoming, kind, and always ready to help if you needed anything. Their hospitality made the experience even more special. Living Rock Cottage

UgoRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Very friendly welcome, with clear instructions on how to manage the various home utilities (electricity, water, etc) due to the particular conditions in current Zimbabwe. A diesel generator (kept far from our rooms, noise barely identifiable) was always ready to compensate, giving us power and water at the flip of a switch. A big hand was also given by the house-boy, Isaac, always super friendy and reactive to all our needs / requests. Ms. Cathrine brought us an exra set of blankets and shower towels, just after a couple of days in. The garden was undergoing some reconstruction / renewal, but very nice sports were already available, with the great "clouds" of colorful flowers that are typical of this area. The location combined the advantage of being on a very important Harare road, with enough distance from traffic to ensure near complete silence. Kamfinsa shopping center at walking distance, an additional bonus. We'll be missing the big smiles of Mrs. Cathrine and Isaac :)
A garden flat is presented with a light-colored exterior, featuring multiple windows that allow natural light into the living space. A paved pathway leads to the entrance, bordered by well-maintained green grass. Nearby trees provide shade, enhancing the serene outdoor environment.

Beaullah is a very cheerful and welcoming host always ready to do more for her guests. I am certainly going to stay at her place when ever I visit Harare. If you want a peaceful, clean, quiet and private place to stay try Beaullah’s place. Security is good, WiFi is great, power is available 100% of the time, at least during my stay. Available parking spot and private own entrance. The place is a bit out of town but very close to the highway, maybe a 15 minute drive to the city center. The place is kept clean thanks to Oppah. I visited Harare several times in the past few years and use Airbnb, Beaullh’s place ranks very high on the list. Will be back soon.

The Perfect Cottage

ChrisRating, 5 stars73 months ago
Joyce's cottage is very nice – in a quiet area and not far from a main road where fairly frequent transport is available. It's comfortable, clean and well-equipped, and set in very pleasant grounds. We greatly enjoyed our stay and were able to host dinner guests on a few evenings. Joyce herself was a great host, very responsive and helpful in response to the water shortages that Harare is current experiencing.
