Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Handbridge

Lindsay had thought of everything in her accommodation, all we needed to bring was our food and drink. From checking in the instructions were clear and there was a nice touch of milk having been left in the fridge. It was spotless with fresh, clean linen on the comfortable bed and fluffy towels in the bathroom. All the amenities listed were available so we were very impressed indeed. It was lovely and warm too. The area was quiet and the communication was excellent. We would definitely stay there again so thank you Lindsay!

We had such a lovely stay at Helen's place in Lymm, can't recommend enough! From the minute we arrived, Helen and Mark were very welcoming and gave us some great recommendations for the local area. The property is a short walk from lots of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops in the heart of the village. The place was spotless and very well equipped - everything you need for a short break. Thanks so much for having us!

We booked Frog Manor to celebrate a 50th birthday and it was perfect. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t catered for. Richard was friendly, helpful and responsive. The property was clean and the grounds were well cared for. Loved the resident ducks and squirrels and even made friends with the gardener’s dog Hattie. The food at the local pub was lovely. Would recommend.

A great place to stay to visit Liverpool - really enjoyed being able to retreat out of the centre, but still be an easy bus ride away. We left the car at the house and used the bus (download the Arriva app) and it was so easy. We also went to a concert at Anfield and it’s really convenient for that. The house itself is obviously very well loved, and we really enjoyed the outdoor space for a sunny coffee outside between rain showers. Super comfortable bed and a great walk-in shower!

We had a lovely stay in the cottage. We had all of the facilities that we needed and the location was perfect for exploring up and down the coast. Information leaflets were very useful and the shower was great! The welcome pack was very good and we could have a cup of tea and biscuits on arrival. The use of upcycled furniture also made the cottage unique and very welcoming. The village had a very good charity shop / café and also had a good Chinese takeaway and some decent pubs. The cottage is also close to Talacre beach, Prestatyn and Flint / Holywell so there is always somewhere to visit. Thank you Chris for a lovely holiday rental! Dave, Chris, Elsie and Ruby

If you’re attending anything in Anfield stadium, it’s an amazing location. It’s pretty easy to get into town on the bus and I would highly recommend.

Lovely two night stay with three generations of our family in a beautiful location . It’s a little isolated (that’s what we wanted and was as described ) but within an easy drive of all amenities. Excellent directions so easy to find. Helen has thought of everything with some lovely touches and supplies included. Looking forward to returning soon

if your looking for tranquility this is the place

This was a lovely spacious house with lots of rooms to spread out socially. The pool was the most amazing feature. The host met us at the property to show us how the pool worked and to give us the lockbox code. They were friendly. They let us know we could message them if we needed anything, then they left us to our own privacy. You might need to bring a spare towel so you have one for the pool and one for the shower. Tea and coffee were provided but you need to make sure you have some milk with you. There was toilet roll, And kitchen roll. Washing up liquid. You might want to bring a box of tissues for General use and some multipurpose cleaning wet wipes. We had a lovely stay and we will definitely be returning.

Gillon and Merete were amazing hosts. The place is beautiful and in such a stunning setting. My favourite moment was going out for an early evening swim - so tranquil. The pool was lovely and warm. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

The cottage was beautiful and really cosy. The area was really quiet, but really close to pubs and a shop (walking distance). We really enjoyed in the jacuzzi, nice warm and we managed to enjoy the swimming pool too. Russell was really responsive to all of your queries.

Fabulous location for anyone looking to stay in the peaceful countryside while still able to access a beautiful town. Lovely accommodation which is really spacious.

We had a wonderful stay this weekend. The place is a little slice of heaven, location is wonderful the pool is heated and the house we stayed in was finished to a fantastic standard. Really can say enough things about the venue, location or the host. We already trying to figure out when we can come back.

Absolutely fantastic host a great little cottage surrounded by lovely countryside, fishing lakes and much more, lots to do a garden for kids that is all enclosed… well worth the money paid

Our group enjoyed a brilliant two night stay at Tall Trees. Everyone expressed what an exceptional weekend it was! The home is beautifully kept, in a lovely private location, with everything available to us at the home, no need to leave the house if you didn’t want to for a couple of days. Use of the hot tub and outdoor heated pool was a perfect touch to our stay. The home was well equipped with everything you would need. Michael and his mother Susan, have both been excellent hosts, very responsive to our needs and questions and very accommodating. There were some minor issues out of their control during the weekend but again Susan was extremely accommodating and more than happy to address this immediately so as to not impact our stay. Overall a wonderful weekend and stay at Tall Trees, we hope we have the opportunity to return again in future.

Absolutely beautiful home - rooms and outside space was so much bigger than we expected! We stayed for a hen party, and the space was exactly what we needed. Host responded very quickly and even popped in when we needed some extra bits. Pool was a lovely touch, easy to use and warm enough for a late dip even on a cold April evening! Thank you!

We stayed at this accommodation with an overseas visitor as we wanted the living space that a hotel does not provide, and to be able to walk into Chester for a night out. This place provides both things very well. The living space is well laid out and equipped. The kitchen is good. The beds were comfortable. It is easy to walk into Chester. James provided good instructions before arrival and the house was easy to find. It was a lovely place to stay.

We felt welcomed from the minute we arrived, and the welcome basket was a lovely surprise! The house had everything we possibly needed and is on such a quiet/peaceful road. The walk into Chester was beautiful, we loved walking over the river every night. Jules was so friendly and helpful, we had the best stay - we can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay, reasonably priced, comfortable and homely. Julie went above and beyond to help us, answered my questions and made helpful suggestions. The Morris Dancer and the Royal Oak were excellent for food and nearby. Great location. Will book again when we come to the area x

What a fantastic find! We had 2 days away with our dog, perfect location for walks along the River Dee & Shropshire canal. The house was clean & everything was the same as seen on Airbnb. Tim was very responsive when we had a query & we would definitely recommend anyone going to Chester if you can get in then it’s perfect. Thanks for letting us stay ☺️

We stayed as a family (2 adults; 2 kids) for 2 nights and had a great time exploring Chester! Fantastic central location meant everything was walkable. Welcome basket, with treats for when we arrived, was a really nice touch; and made it feel even more of a holiday. Private parking space right outside was also really convenient; and made it simple to transfer luggage to and from the place.

I live on an Island off the West Coast of Canada. It takes 2 days + to get to Chester UK. I knew communication was going to be spotty at best so I asked for check-in details prior to departure. They never came. I arrived at the apartment after 2 days of traveling unable to gain access. Because of sim card issues I could not 'phone for access details. Suggest you waive the 24 hour access check-in under certain circumstances.

Lovely place. Great for exploring the Chester area. Jo was super helpful and clear with instructions/recommendations. She was also really responsive and friendly. The place was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Really appreciate that toddlers/small children were thought of with the built in stair gates, highchair, travel cot, bath toys etc. Comfy beds and good shower pressure also! Would highly recommend this place and I think Jo is a brilliant host

Tom was a brilliant host from start to finish. Responded to questions immediately. The accommodation was fantastic and perfect for my family. It was just a brilliant long weekend experience for us all!
