Townhome vacation rentals in Hancock County

This is truly a "one of a kind" property. We are so thankful to the owners for sharing this inspirational place with us. We did not use the guest house, but after seeing it, we would love to return with the grandparents in tow! The guest house has been recently renovated with very comfortable accommodations for at least 2 people. A pull out sofa in the guest house could accommodate 1 more, and the main house also has futons. My 3 children were thrilled with the selection of outdoor toys, puzzles, and games at the property. We were able to have tandem kayaks delivered so we could adventure as a family each day and explore the amazing islands surrounding the property. I cannot describe how much we all loved playing the piano in this house. The high wood ceilings and walls made for beautiful acoustics. I haven't enjoyed playing music so much since I was a kid. It's obvious that an incredible amount of love and thought went into the design of this home. Thank you for the beautiful memories!

Marc's house was excellent for our needs. He communicated well ahead of time! Great little kitchen and beautiful park of Desert Island. Cannot wait to go back!

Loved my visit to southwest harbor and Acadia NP. The Airbnb was in a good location, about 30 mins to the park and bar harbor. The town is a little quiet and closes early but we did not mind. Would definitely come back.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Bar Harbor! It was absolutely perfect for what we needed — cozy and made us feel right at home the moment we walked in. The location couldn’t have been better: extremely close to both Acadia National Park and the center of town, making it easy to explore without a lot of driving. The house was super well-equipped with everything we could possibly need, from kitchen essentials to little extras that made a big difference. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Jiayuan is the best host I've ever had, very welcoming and friendly. He even helped me with my bags! Such a nice person and host and the home/room is also incredible, very clean and very comfortable. Jiayuan made my stay in Maine so easy. Highly recommend staying here

Jiayuan's place was perfect for a visit to Acadia National Park! It's about 10 minutes from Bar Harbor's downtown and super close to the National Park. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious, private, and clean, and guests can even do laundry if needed. Check-in is easy, and lots of off-street parking is available. Would definitely recommend a stay!

Very nice place for our vacation. We really enjoyed our stay here. Very nice and quiet house, a bit outdated furniture but nonetheless everything was very clean. Perfect location with ocean view and very close to the park and the port! Definitely will look to stay at the same place when we visit Acadia Park next time.

Wonderful location, one mile walk/bike to restaurants if you don’t want to deal with parking and traffic. Great pet friendly house, very quiet, can see the water. Had the dishes we needed. Very comfortable.

The townhouse is conveniently located along the main route to Mt Desert Island. Due to the popularity of the Island, traffic is busy and does back up, but there was no traffic noise at the townhouse. It was simply, but comfortably furnished and very clean. The ice maker was not hooked up, but everything else worked fine. Key code access made check in very simple. We would happily stay here again.

Ingrid’s place was very clean and extremely spacious. It is much roomier than appears in the listing. We were all very comfortable here. In addition, the kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. The place is very private and in a quiet area. We could hear the occupants in the unit next door, but they were not there very much. She provided some great info prior to check-in that was useful when determining what to pack and buy from the store. She also provided some great local recommendations. We stayed here while visiting Acadia, and it was less than a 30 minute drive to the visitor center. The seawall was only 10 minutes away and a great place to watch the sunrise.

Excellent location - close enough to downtown Bar Harbor without the crowds. Place was neat, well equipped and enjoyable. Will definitely do it again!

We had a great time at Derek’s place! The instructions to get to the house was so clear and we had a few hiccups with the technology in the house but Derek was super responsive and helped us sort it out. The highlight for us was the cozy fireplace and the snowy Christmas snow globe deck. The house is an easy 15-20 minute drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor and it would take you through the scenic Ocean Path Drive. The house is definitely super worth it for the price. Thanks again for having us!

Very clean and comfortable - the perfect place to stay while we visited Acadia. The place was set up extremely thoughtfully - we appreciated that the kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils and dishware so we could cook dinner, and the games and area guides that were provided in the living room were a nice touch. We would 100% rebook this place if we visit again! We loved our stay here.

Very cool place and a very good locations. Location is slightly different than where the pin shows up in the app but not too far and they communicated that in the check-in instructions. Would recommend

This was a great place to stay and I highly recommend it. The place was clean, roomy, and looked as advertised. The beds were comfortable, the fridge was stocked with a few drinks and snacks and we had plenty of towels. This reminds me of how most of the listings on Airbnb USED to be (meaning the hosts didn't nickel and dime you for everything, actually went out of their way to make you feel welcome and provided basic amenities. I absolutely recommend this to others and if I return to Bar Harbor, I will see if this place is available again.

Great location to get to Acadia and Trenton if you need to get any supplies. It was very easy to navigate and the home was clean. Jack is very nice and responded quickly to any questions. Highly recommend!

Ann and Bill are incredible hosts — their home is very warm and tidy, and they do a phenomenal job communicating throughout the check-in and check-out process. Their warm hospitality made our honeymoon weekend all the more sweet! Their little added details of fresh cut flowers and local snacks left in the kitchen were so thoughtful as well. Would highly recommend their place! 5/5 stars for sure!
