Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Hancock County

Our group greatly enjoyed our stay! The space was perfect for a large group. The dining room table was large enough to fit all 11 of us and the living room was comfortable for all of us as well. Hadn’t realized the upstairs spaces were not connected but we actually ended up liking having those spaces separate for those that wanted to have a few min away from the group. There’s great walking areas around. We walked on the rail trail which is maybe 5 min from the house and it was a great trail. Highly recommend checking it out while you’re there. You are on a main road so you can hear the cars going by. Just jump in the hot tub though and everything else melts away! 😌 Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place! Beautiful house with great amenities including a wonderful hot tub and fire places. The two separate houses were perfect for accommodating our big family. Everything was spotless and comfortable. The layout provided privacy while still having welcoming common areas for everyone to gather. Would definitely stay here again!

Wow! Desiree’s home is exactly what we were looking for! It is just a few steps away from Acadia National Park AND downtown Bar Harbor! We loved the hot tub, the toys for kids, the playground, and every little detail. This home is ready for you with everything you may need! It was absolutely spotless! We could stay for so much longer! We HIGHLY recommend this for your next home away from home!

We had an amazing stay! The home was absolutely beautiful — even better than the photos. The location was fantastic, close to everything we wanted to see and do. Our host went above and beyond with so many thoughtful personal touches that truly made us feel welcomed. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

It's rare, but the pictures didn't do justice to the house- the home exceeded the photos! It's a gorgeous home, VERY clean, with lots of space for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was very well supplied (better than any other Airbnb we've been in)- knives are sharp, the pots and pans are well-seasoned, plenty of herbs and spices, and the kitchen is perfect for everyone to gather round to chat and cook. Everything we needed was there for us. The setting is absolutely wonderful! Private, with woods all the way around. The only (very slightly) negative comment would be that it's really difficult to find when you're driving in for the first time, and it's dark. Three couples met there, after driving for 3 days. All of us drove past the driveway the first time, but a friendly neighbor helped us find our way. Once we knew where to turn in for the driveway, it was all good. All 6 of us agree- we would all highly recommend, and when we go back to Maine we will definitely stay there again!!

My husband and I rented this house so our nephew and his young son could visit with us. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. Danielle was always responsive to questions and we were close to beautiful outdoor spaces.

My husband and I loved staying at Paul’s wonderful home, as with many of his previous guests. It was quiet and private, and all the listed amenities were great. Internet was fast and we were able to cook our meals in the kitchen. We loved connecting to the Bluetooth speaker in the living room. The hot tub was very easy to use. It is located inside a sheltered addition to the house, which is accessible by a few steps from the back door. That was perfect for us because it was raining during our time in Penobscot. We were also able to walk over to Northern Bay from his home and stopped by the gas station across the street to grab some snacks. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Even though it was a bit of a drive to restaurants, Bar Harbor, or attractions/activities, the place was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. I loved waking up with views of the ocean right outside my door and relaxing in the hot tub after a long day was heavenly! We also got to see some deer and a beaver wandering through the yard! John was super responsive if we needed anything. I loved that there were lots of saved toiletries, non-perishable food items, games, and books for us to enjoy. I would choose this place again!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The lake and surrounding forest were beautiful, and the hot tub was perfect for the chilly spring weather. The location is great, 20 minutes to Ellsworth and 45 to Acadia or Blue Hill. Shelby was a great and communicative host!

Gorgeous apartment, hosts were very accommodating and responsive. The apartment was clean and organized. Scenic and quiet location with no disturbances!!

I wish I could give this place and host more than 5 stars! Deirdre was incredibly sweet and extremely fast to respond to any questions we had. The cabin was cozy, clean, and just what we were looking for! Our trip revolved around hiking Acadia NP, and while this Airbnb was about an hour drive to the main part of the park, it was WELL worth it. It was away from the busyness and very quiet peaceful and private. Plus it’s only about 15 mins to the Schoodic peninsula! There’s a small path to some rocks you can sit on and relax by the ocean, which after a long day of hiking was perfect! Bonus- We were able to see the northern lights from there!! All in all this place was 10/10 and I highly recommend. If I ever get the chance to return to Maine, I would absolutely love to stay here again!!

Had a wonderful stay at this modern lake house. The home was beautifully designed, and felt very private. The kitchen was gorgeous with a great stove, plenty of space, and lots of natural light from all the windows — and the dimmable lights created a cozy, welcoming ambiance in the evenings. The big beds were extremely comfortable, and there was more than enough room for everything we needed. The lake was beautiful and peaceful, and the sound of the peepers at night made it feel even more relaxing. Had a few minor things pop but the host was responsive. Overall, it was a fantastic staycation, and we would stay here again.

We had the most magical engagement weekend ever in this beautiful space. Thank you for hosting with such TLC and being amazing at what you do! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPACE!!!!
