Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Hancock County

We had a very enjoying stay over Memorial Day weekend.

I’m usually a little leery of staying at Airbnbs without many reviews, but we needed to be in Fortville so we took a chance. Very, very happy we did. Troy responded quickly if I had a question & the space was full of small touches that made us feel at home & cared for. It’s a super cute space for the price. I’d definitely stay here again

This was our second stay at this home. The location is ideal for us while visiting our granddaughter during the holidays. This home is spacious and maintained so well that we did not even consider staying anywhere else. The host reached out to us before our arrival and ensured we had all the information we needed. Once again, we had a wonderful stay without any incidents requiring us to contact the host. Beautiful home away from our own home.

Our short stay was awesome!! House was even better in person! Spacious and open!! 5 stars!! House had everything you will need and more!! Reanna was responsive and communicated every step of the way! If ever in the area again, this house will be 1st on my list!!!

Truly enjoyed our stay. The attention to detail and intentionality behind making their guests comfortable stood out amongst the many places we've stayed - down to the personalized thank you note waiting for us upon our arrival. Great space for my kids and I as we traveled from St. Louis for a family wedding. Lots of space , great location, spotless, and the home has been nicely updated! Hart was quick to respond to our questions, which is always a plus!

Erin was a fantastic host. Great communication. House was cozy and spacious plenty of room for 4 adults. Great showers w/plenty of hot water. Great location!! In a nice and peaceful neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and stores close by. Really enjoyed relaxing on the front porch and eating lunch on the back deck. This house helped create some wonderful memories with family. Highly recommend staying here.

Had a lovely stay with no complaints, Matt was a wonderful host, very communicative and helpful. When I asked about black out curtains due to having young children, he went and got them and had them ready to go for when we got there. He even had beer and wine waiting for us when we got there. I would recommend staying here if you are looking in the Fortville area.

Mary & Marvin’s place is as wonderful as advertised… better even. The neighborhood looks a little rough around the edges, but it’s quiet and seems like a good, safe community. Marvin met me for checkin and shared stories about the history of the space and some of the typewriters and items throughout the space. Everything was especially comfortable - great bed, good shower, your own thermostat, etc. All in all, a great stay. At my checkout, Marvin made some coffee and he, his son (Mike), and I had a great coffee-chat before I was on my way.

Amy’s place was absolutely wonderful! The place was very clean and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The place was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was great and was convenient to everywhere we needed to go. The parking lot was well lit and private. We felt very safe! We are happy to have found a place in the area to stay for when we visit our friends in the area. Thank you for being a wonderful host!

Brenda and her place were amazing! The apartment was perfect for my boyfriend I for the week! It was in an awesome location, had great amenities, and it was a beautiful unit. The building is easy to navigate and the unit itself has everything you could need. Brenda herself was very friendly and happy to help with any issues we had (very quickly, too!) and made sure we were all taken care of. She was very responsive and accommodating. We would gladly stay here again.

This is my go to place when I come to town. Sometimes when it’s not available, I look to reschedule my trip.

Beautiful Getaway the name speaks for itself. This home was clean and cozy. I love the snacks and the extra necessities. I give this home 5 stars. I wish i could give more. Josh thank you for sharing your Beautiful Getaway.

Everything was ideal I woke up in the morning and was watching a cow with her calf probably within a couple hundred feet sleeping in the grass chewing on it. Nice snacks everything nice and quiet fast internet.

Great place! We’ve stayed here a few times. Walkable to downtown and the park. Clean and well-equipped!

Was in town for a show and didn't even realize it was Indy 500 weekend. This place really bailed us out in terms of available lodging. Claudia was great and the place was as described. Easy Uber access to Ruoff was a plus.

This is the second time staying at this owner’s property. We were in town for Indy 500 activities. The apartment was great and would highly recommend Butler Villa

It’s a great nice small property to stay. Definitely not big enough for more than two people but a great location to downtown.

Dina always exceeds expectations as a host. Her place is spotless, and beautifully appointed. Even the plants are all happy! Extraordinarily comfortable bed, and a bathroom large enough to dance in (maybe we did)! We have stayed three years in a row for our annual trip to Indy and hope that Dina’s place remains an annual tradition for as many coming years as possible! We could not be happier!

Our stay in the condo in Broadripple for the Indy 500 was excellent. The property was easy to find, centrally located in a nice area of Indianapolis and was a short walk to multiple restaurants, shopping and a Fresh Market grocery. The condo was very clean, nicely decorated and well stocked for our weeklong stay. Our host, Deborah was extremely responsive and her communications were excellent. Thank you for allowing us to "Let's Go Racing"!!
