Ingrids place is probably one of the best airbnbs we have stayed in. The location is idyllic, completely surrounded by fields and chalk streams but villages within walking distance. It has everything, and more, in terms of facilities and equipment. The bed linen was of a high quality which added to a great night sleep ( something I struggle with even at home!). The furniture and decor was stylish but homely. And the garden beautiful. I loved them. Ingrid was so friendly and helpful. We were attending a wedding locally and not only did she help with providing us with a reliable taxi driver but drove us to the venue herself which was so lovely of her. Yes...the track on arrival is a bit precarious but it should not put you off...go slowly and its fine...and well worth it when you get there

We had a wonderful stay. The host was incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful, happy to answer all our questions about the local area. The property is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, serene, and ideal for a relaxing countryside break. The grounds are lovely, the furnishings are stylish and comfortable, and the bed linen and towels were excellent. If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be the addition of a basic welcome package. The nearest shops are a bit of a drive, so arriving to find essentials like milk, bread, and a more generous supply of tea (only six bags were left) would be a thoughtful touch. The host did mention not everyone wants these things and kindly offered us milk upon arrival, but having them ready would really enhance the experience, especially given the overall quality and price point. That said, we had a fantastic time and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful and comfortable countryside retreat.

John’s Barn is a stunning light and spacious holiday home , beautifully designed and furnished , and set in a peaceful , green countryside setting with acres of woodland to explore . We loved the private and pretty garden , and the walk to the lake to feed the fish . Our grandchildren loved the trampoline and play area , and the tree swing in the garden . Bobbie is a warm and friendly host who respected our privacy - we really enjoyed meeting her . We enjoyed visiting Romsey, and loved exploring the New Forest and all it has to offer . We will be returning - something we rarely do !

Lovely cosy, homely old dairy building. Wonderful setting with other outhouses, stables etc around and lots of interesting animals - feeding donkeys & a small horse carrots at our fence, and the miniature sheep who like biscuits!! Nice pub near by- The Green Dragon - for tasty meals and great beers!! Village shop, too, selling most basics. Great walks without having to drive.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is spotless, super comfortable, and felt like a real home away from home. It was perfect for our little one, there were so many toys to play with, books and even a barn outside which was a huge hit. The surrounding nature is stunning and so peaceful, we enjoyed every moment. The hosts were genuinely kind and helpful, we felt very welcome. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

The photos really don’t do it justice, such beautiful decor and comfortable furniture. The cottage garden is gorgeous and her sweet little dog came to say hello. Annabel had put fresh flowers in the house as well as welcome treats and milk etc in the fridge. The nicest touches which were hugely appreciated. Highly recommend.

My wife and I spent a few days at Liz and David's AirBnb. Lovely secluded place, good pubs nearby reached by walks through the forest. Breakfast provided; great shower. Easy to get everywhere in the New Forest. We would definitely stay again!!

Myself, my partner and dog had a lovely 2 night stay at the Bothy. The location is very secluded but we managed to find it with no issues when we followed the instructions provided. There was an issue with electricity on arrival but Cathy was very responsive and managed to sort this promptly. She offered really great recommendations of things to do/places to eat whilst we were there. There are some lovely walks nearby which our dog absolutely loved! The huge garden was also perfect for her. Highly recommend and hope to come back again one day.

Just returned from a relaxing short break at Rushmere. The accommodation was very clean throughout and has everything you might need. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

This studio was absolutely lovely, stylish clean and really comfortable, we were really impressed. It made for a very relaxing stay. Would definitely come back again!

The clever architectural design has created a stunning barn conversion. This is complimented by the carefully chosen fixtures and fittings and the warm but understated colour palette. The kitchen dining lounge space has some quirky and rustic touches and is a lovely room in which to gather. There were some very thoughtful welcome gifts left for us and everything you need is provided for cooking and eating. The 3 en-suite bedrooms are all fabulous and the kids twin was accessed by a ladder, with its own shower room below. This end of the barn can be closed off for some privacy and has its own kitchenette, sofa and TV. The barn is warm and quiet and private even though the main farmhouse is right next door. The hosts are unobtrusive but there if you need anything. Our party of 6 adults, 2 young boys and a baby worked well in the space. We loved West Wittering Beach, the Itchenor Ferry and walk to Bosham and pottering around Chichester. The barn was so lovely that it was hard to leave!

It is a unique and beautifully appointed converted barn; open plan with a double bed on a mezzanine floor. It is comfortable and tastefully decorated. It was easy to find and we were greeted with gifts and flowers. Situated in a quiet village with lots of lovely walks. Joanna and her family are very friendly and communicated quickly once we had booked. I would highly recommend this 'retreat'.

Rachael and her parents were very welcoming and friendly. They kindly gave us lovely vegetables, salad, and delicious strawberries from their kitchen garden. And eggs from their rescue chickens. All fabulous! The Hayloft was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The only small downside was no ventilation in the bathroom. There was lots of information on walks, places to eat etc, which we found very useful. We did a number of walks from their information. We had dinner at The Royal Oak, a short walk away which was good with friendly staff, and a good atmosphere. Brunch at The Potting Shed was excellent, about 20/30 mins walk (up hill). It’s a very peaceful place, surrounded by beautiful countryside, and we’d certainly stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Ana’s house. It had everything we needed to stay in and relax, and some great pubs nearby to eat out too. It was more spacious than the pictures suggest, with a great living area which looked out over a grassy field, trees and river. We managed some very British wildlife sightings too from the comfort of the living room with visits from red kites, deer and a young hare! Ana went above and beyond as a host welcoming us on arrival with a fresh loaf of home baked sourdough bread. It was a perfect stay!

an amazing barn stay. Very peaceful and relaxing. Super kitchen as we love to cook. Very modern place and I downloaded an app to turn on/off lights. Lots of room, comfy bed and fantastic en suite. Lovely outside seating in private garden and a bbq if needed. Extremely small village which only has a pub but it's only 5 minutes walk. This is a place for people who love a relaxing tranquil stay. Would definitely recommend.

Sarah is a great host and the Barn is a hidden gem. It was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay as it’s within a quiet residential area. The barn itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed to a high standard and had everything we needed. It’s just a few minutes walk from the shoreline, and an easy walk to the village. We would definitely stay again!

I’m so delighted we chose to spend our few days in Bournemouth at The Den. My kind of accommodation thats for sure! Communication from the host was excellent which made our trip smooth and seamless from arriving to checking out. Everything is top quality to ensure a relaxing and luxurious stay. A stunning home from home. Gorgeous countryside all around and a lovely enclosed private garden. The barn is beautifully decorated, with really personal touches. Breakfast and essentials provided. Comfortable and just a total delight. Anna was helpful, responsive and courteous at all times. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Wonderful quirky house full of charm and character. We had a brilliant stay. Kids loved exploring the house and beautiful garden. In the words of my 5 year old, “best house ever!!!”. A perfect stay in the New Forest. Beautiful clean homely cottage, Dog friendly, good communication with hosts and perfect area. Lemon drizzle cake and fresh local milk was left out for our arrival which we thought was a lovely gesture.
