Judy and Jim, Where to even being with the two most exceptional hosts! The Red House became our true home away from home. The house itself is equipped, and stocked with all things you would need for short or extended stay. Plenty of extras: bedding, towels, homewares and many kitchen appliances; more than ample space; games for family fun. A wonderful yard for enjoying evenings or quiet mornings outside. But more than the house, Jim and Judy extend their hospitality, past being just an online host. They genuinely care about the wellbeing and needs of their renters. They welcomed us in, with open arms and made us feel like family. They offered us a tour of their incredible white tail ranch, and opened their doors to us. We shared much camaraderie, early on. We know we have gained a lifelong friendship, all thanks to our home away from home at The Red House

The location is prime if you're looking to be close to state parks and hike (like I did)! The home is situated on a beautiful property that's extremely quiet and peaceful. Elsie was a lovely and wonderful host, and I'd recommend her home to anyone looking for a spot to stay in the area. Everything was clean and well-organized; I couldn't have found a better place to stay than this one!

Angie is friendly, informative and offers a nice stay. The farm animals are friendly fun to pet from outside of the pen. The dogs will bark at you but it is all show. They run up and are very friendly. We had a 4 and 5 year old and it was a nice place for a family stay. Be sure to book early if you want this place.
