Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Hamilton

Our family was there for a baseball tournament. The home is 15 minutes away, easy to get to. Grocery stores, restaurants, ice cream (recommend Jerry’s on the way to Cooperstown) and tackle and bait store are all close by. The rooms are very comfortable, I worked from the loft on top floor, the kitchen well equipped and the lake right outside. The kids had the opportunity to kayak and paddle board and to fish from the dock. Rodney was very responsive and super helpful to ensure we were comfortable and answered questions quickly. The view on the lake is fantastic and peaceful.

Absolutely breathtaking surroundings and view, quiet, peaceful, and everything described plus more! I'm ocd and usually leave anywhere I stay cleaner than I found it but I couldn't find anything that I could clean. It was spotless!!! We didn't want to leave. The hosts were amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I've been on numerous airbnb trips and this was the most beautiful. Can't wait to come back! Thank you so much!

The house is exactly like the photos. Good parking at the back and you enter through the back door. The host texts you the code for 3pm check-in. Once inside the house is even more amazing! Gorgeous decor and many places for everyone to feel comfortable. Everything you need is there. Each room has an ensuite bathroom. The host was very helpful, friendly and replied quickly. I’m so happy that we found this farmhouse in the country. Conveniently located with a beautiful setting . We were even given fresh farm eggs. I wish we were able to do more hiking, but the weather was not in our favor. Best of all we could bring our fur baby with us . If I was coming up to this area again, I would be more than happy to stay there again. The House was extremely clean. It’s a farmhouse so yes, I had to get rid of a few wasps but that’s expected.

We enjoyed our stay. Comfortable seating and beds, plenty of hot water, lovely neighborhood. We look forward to our next visit.

Exceptional stay at Samantha’s property. Perfect for exploring Fly Creek and Cooperstown. The backyard was stunning - we loved playing games, relaxing, and wading in the water. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at Scott's Happy Home. It was an excellent place for our family to stay while in town for our son and daughter-in-law's Baby Shower. The layout was great and met all of our needs. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we prepared several meals easily. Scott and Paula even brought us a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie cake, which was delicious. We plan to stay here again when we visit the area. Thanks, Scott and Paula, for being outstanding hosts!

Had a wonderful stay here with my husband and two kids (6 and 4). Check in was easy, place was clean and as described, and location was perfect. Appreciated having the secluded outdoor space as well. Would stay again!

Alicia was a gracious host, communicated proactively and respondes to my inquiries quickly. The home was wonderful and exactly what I was looking for. Great location around lots of amazing hiking. The apartment felt private and had everything we needed. Shower pressure was amazing and we loved relaxing in the hot tub after a full day of hiking. Would definitely recommend staying here.

David and Merry were some of the kindest and most generous hosts we’ve ever met. They went out of their way to make our stay perfect, even choosing not to rent out the other part of the house during our visit to give us more privacy. They welcomed us warmly, shared great local tips, helped us book a restaurant and even sent us a bottle of wine there. The house was beautiful, super comfortable, and had everything we needed. We felt truly cared for and would absolutely love to come back!

Highly recommended. Even nicer than the photos. Very comfortable and spacious apartment—with lots of nice personal touches, including linen bedding, bath robes, numerous books and candles. Loved the short walk to the Clinton Village. I will really miss Utica coffee:). We were in town to attend our son’s graduation from Colgate University and the drive to/from was easy. Although close to Utica, the town and apartment has a very nice rural vibe. Our hosts were proactive and responsive! Thanks so much for giving us the icing on the cake to the adventure.

The apartment was very comfortable. The fresh eggs and other breakfast items were a great surprise. The location was perfect for let us get away from Dreams Park between games. Our daughters had a great time feeding the animals and jumping on the trampoline.

We stayed over Memorial Day Weekend, '25. Wanted a quiet getaway for the four of us: my wife and myself, plus our adult daughter and our high school aged daughter. This property delivered. Quiet mix of woodlands and farm. Babbling brook right outside the back door. And it was a short drive to Delhi, which was a lovely little town.

My wife, dog and I stayed four nights over Memorial Day. The home/cabin, was private, secluded, well-maintained, clean and very comfortable. Unfortunately, we had four days of rain and cool weather, but we never felt confined, bored, etc. The outdoor grill, inside wood burning stove, privacy, tv streaming options, large table for games, etc. made the trip very enjoyable, relaxing and fun. Also, it goes without saying, our AUD cattle dog, seemed to enjoy himself and there were many places on the property for him to explore. Finally, it was very quiet during the day and evening; whereby, there were no distractions or obstacles to relaxation or sleep.

This has to be the best airbnb I've stayed in, absolutely beautiful place, had anything you could need on a trip. My girlfriend and I loved staying here and enjoyed our time immensely. Highly recommend staying here, very peaceful private place if you need quiet place to get away.

5 Stars – A Hidden Gem Over the Water! This over-the-water bungalow in Otego, New York, is by far one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever experienced. The peaceful and quiet setting made it the perfect escape, and being able to fish right off the deck was a huge bonus. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and the place had all the creature comforts of home—cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Michael and Courtney were amazing hosts—warm, welcoming, and responsive. You can truly tell they put their heart into making this place special. We’re already planning our next visit!

Rena was an amazing host we were running a bit late to check in due to car problems she was very caring and always responded quickly. Checking in and out was super easy. Her place is beautiful and peaceful. Even though it rained during our stay the place still looked amazing! The sounds of nature were soothing, and the views were breathtaking. At night the stars looked remarkable. My girlfriend and I will never forget The Roost. Thank you for having us rena. We really appreciated how understanding and responsive you were during our stay. I will recommend your place to my family and friends! 11/10 rating.

Every one in my family had huge smiles as soon as we walked in. Beautiful design elements, lots of music options, cozy and comfortable spaces, and the best outdoor deck area we could ask for. The cedar hot tub was an absolute highlight. We were in it multiple times every day, right up til the time we had to pack up and head out. Just the getaway from the big city that we needed. Can’t wait to come back sometime soon.

This cabin was the perfect spot for our long weekend away. It is such a cozy spot with personal touches and decor that make you feel at home, but the right balance that you don't feel like you're in someone else's house. We felt immediately relaxed when we arrived, and the guide book she pulled together for guests ensured we had local highlights for places to eat. Laura was a super proactive and communicative host. Unfortunately it rained during our whole trip so we couldn't enjoy the porch or fire pit spaces like we'd hoped, but even still the cabin was the perfect spot to cozy up and not feel cramped. We would absolutely recommend this spot for a couple or a solo vacation.

Our little family loved our stay here! We were impressed with how clean and cozy everything was when we first walked in. The check in was very easy too! Everything looked like the listing photos. We also enjoyed the short walk to the beach. We were fortunate our pets were accommodated as well. We travel for our daughter's dance competitions and it's tough leaving them at home. They enjoyed being there with us and being able to go in the backyard. We usually have to travel to the area once a year for competitions and are glad to have found this place and hope to stay again in the future.
